Good tap at a good price, shame the delivery company (evri) was not as good
The dispatch delivery updates were a bit slow but otherwise happy with products, and service provided
Used numerous times now and always a great service
The website experience was good, customer service was very helpful and the products look great. It’s just the delivery took 7 days from date of order, which however way you look at it is a little too long!
Great service, products matched advertised specifications, all fitted, would recommend
Good website easy to navigate priced right & quick delivery
Let me tell you about the simple act of ordering a kitchen sink, which quickly spiraled into a bureaucratic comedy involving cracked porcelain, heroic customer service, and one utterly baffling delivery company.
The story began innocently enough. I ordered a critical sink from Tap Warehouse—first time customer, high stakes (new stone worktops incoming!). Tap Warehouse was great; they had the sink, they shipped it via DHL, and their communications were excellent.
Then the comedy started.
Round 1: The Broken Arrival.
The first sink arrived, and my wife wisely noted the packaging looked like it had been wrestled by a badger. We discovered the truth three weeks later, on installation day: the sink had three corner cracks. Fail #1.
I called Tap Warehouse and spoke to Helen, bless her efficient heart. She apologised, shipped a replacement immediately (via DHL, naturally), and promised a delivery/pickup swap on Monday. We booked our poor, long-suffering tradespeople for Tuesday.
Round 2: The DHL Ghosting.
Monday came. Monday went. No sink, no pickup, no communication from DHL. Their tracking system was essentially a digital shrug. Helen stepped in again, apologized (for DHL, not Tap Warehouse!), and promised Wednesday delivery. We paid our tradesmen "at cost" to come back Wednesday. Wednesday came. Wednesday went. Fail #2.
Round 3: The New Carrier (and the Second Crack).
I called back and got Vics. Vics, a true hero, listened to my increasingly frantic saga and immediately made the executive decision: Ditch DHL. She shipped a third sink via a non-ghosting carrier. The new carrier was a dream! They gave updates, they called ahead. It arrived the following Monday. We filmed the unboxing for evidence... and unfortunately, this sink was also damaged. Fail #3.
(Meanwhile, DHL was still wandering the earth with the first replacement sink and hadn't bothered picking up the original broken one. They were just hoarding porcelain.)
Round 4: The Final Attempt.
With a heavy heart, I called Vics to report that we were batting zero. She didn't blink. We agreed on a final, fourth sink, shipped with extra precautions. The non-DHL carrier delivered it this morning. PERFECT!
Look, any company can have issues. But the level of customer service from Helen and Vics was truly outstanding. They faced a ridiculous logistical nightmare (courtesy of a certain three-letter delivery service) with pure empathy, dedication, and a shared commitment to getting the job done. They turned a fiasco into a lesson in customer care.
(As for DHL, they still hold the world record for the longest, slowest game of hide-and-seek with a damaged kitchen sink. They could learn a lot... but probably won't.)
I phoned my order through to speak to someone rather than order on line because I wanted to be sure that the order would arrive before the day I had booked the fitter to install my sink. Although the delivery time frame as advertised should have been okay, I wanted to be sure. This was a full week before but unfortunately I was obliged to pay £29.99 delivery charge to be sure of delivery in time although my order exceeded the free delivery charge quoted. slightly miffed about that but otherwise service was fine. I did receive updates throughout the process.
Good price for a good tap. I am delighted with the quality and the prompt delivery, with lots of notification about its arrival.
Good product, exactly as described and good value. It arrived on time and as promised.
Everyone I spoke to was very helpful, and when i asked to speak to someone on the phohe they gave me a number to ring , and they managed to speak to the right people for me to help resolve the situation quickly .
Fabulous company to order from. Website is very clear - easy to find all details of products. Customer service is brilliant. First of all I had a product query, I needed to know some information prior to placing my order. This was answered promptly and accurately using the online chat function. When my order arrived I unfortunately needed to return it - this was dealt with swiftly - via online chat and email. My replacement was scheduled for the following day. All very good! Would recommend.
The product was a quartz kitchen sink arrived well packed on time ,the tap cut was easy, cost wasnt over priced, the only problem i have is the carrier cost £20 2to5 days from the south,u need to look into finding a cheaper way to get your product to customer, the price nearly stop me from buying this great product,5syars service and product , 1star carrier cost
Lovely tap better than i expected. Very easy to order on the app! Very good selection of taps to choose from.
We have been very impressed with both the service and with the items we have purchased. The items are of very good quality for the prices we have paid. The website was easy to use and we received the items quickly too.
As usual great service and delivery. The products I required were in stock and arrived on time and in great condition.
