Best SIM-only mobile network in the UK

I very rarely come on Trustpilot to give an unsolicited positive review, but I must say, Lebara Mobile absolutely deserves it.

I've been with this network now ever since I left 3 (which used to be a great network too but threw it all away).

Lebara has great plans, low cost, a great app, and top quality customer service. This is almost unheard of in this industry. Normally you can count on 2 of those things, 3 max. But Lebara genuinely has it all.

They don't overcomplicate their app. They have good service. The packages are simple to understand. They're easy to purchase. And whenever you have any issues, customer service replies promptly and is a great help.

I won't be leaving this network any time soon. Not all good networks last forever, but I've been with Lebara for at leat 5 years and never had any complaints.

One of the few remaining great networks. Hard to fault. Would recommend absolutely.

Nonexistant location

I tried searching several luggage storage apps/websites, and decided to use Radical Storage since they seemed to have more locations available than alternatives. However when I arrived at the location, the shop didn't exist, no one had heard of it, and I had to get a refund. Total waste of money which I paid for an Uber to get there. Ended up using Bounce and going to another location, which was much more reliable.

Initial complications with order were handled professionally

I had a mixed experience with The Diamond Store London. Initially I ordered with them because they were offering very good delivery times. However 2 days after I ordered, I received an email saying that there were delays, and that the item I wanted wouldn't be available by the time I needed it due to severe delays.

This was very frustrating as it was then too late to order from another vendor in time.

However, customer services did a great job in assisting me with a replacement ring, which I was then able to return when the original one I wanted was finally ready.

So I would use The Diamond Store London again because despite the initial complications with the order, they were very helpful in assisting with a reasonable resolution.

Great product and experience

The service was fantastic. I sent an email with some specific requests and they got back to me immediately. The products are also fantastic quality and packaging is premium as well. Would definitely use them again.

Forced check in charges

The online check in system didn't work, and we were subsequently forced to pay $100 in check in fees for having to go to the desk to get our boarding pass.

Steer clear of this airline. Total scammers.

Without doubt the worst overall experience I've ever had with any company ever

Without doubt the worst overall experience I've ever had with any company ever.

Arrived for my flight and the check in machine told me to go to the desk. The woman I spoke to (Rachel working at the terminal B checkin desk at New York LaGuardia at approx 06:00am, Jul 13) immediately insulted me by rolling her eyes and making out that I was stupid for trying to check in using the machine for an international flight. Turns out that this wasn't even the problem as she then told me I didn't have a ticket. I told her that was impossible and tried to show her my confirmation email that I was booked on the flight and fully paid for a ticket. Rachel was not interested in seeing this however. She simply repeatedly told me I don't have a ticket and needed to pay for one. Every time I tried to prove to her that I had paid, she refused to look, acting like a petulant child. She was also far more interested in a social conversation she was having that actually trying to deal with my issue. She seemed in a great rush to get back to her social conversation and kept telling me to step aside, which I did not. Eventually I was going to miss my flight because of her negligence, so I reluctantly agreed to pay for a SECOND flight because I had to be on that flight in order to get to an important hospital appointment. I figured that I could just contest the charge with my credit card company later. However not only did Rachel charge me for a second time, she also added on a $45 airport fee which she of course never mentioned. So now I'm down the price of 2 tickets and an airline fee, as well as my stress levels going through the roof from her constant antagonism and generally hostile attitude.

Will never fly with AA again. Absolute joke of an airline. I only picked AA reluctantly in the first place because it was slightly cheaper than Aeromexico, but now that I've been scammed it would have been cheaper to fly Aeromexico.

Only takeaway is that I feel like I've peered into some kind of social experiment where they employ someone to be the worst possible employee and aggravate customers off to a maximum degree. It is clear to me that Rachel is completely unemployable. Any self respecting company would figure this out long before they ever put someone like her in company uniform. It tells you everything you need to know about AA.

One of the simplest booking systems out…

One of the simplest booking systems out there, always very reasonable prices. Haven't had to raise any kind of dispute before, but I often have technical glitches booking with airlines, so I prefer booking with third parties and always choose Trip since my bookings have always completed with no issues and no hidden charges.

I used to always book tickets with the airline...

I used to always book tickets with the airline, even if the price was higher, because I thought i would have a better customer experience.

After having some particularly bad experiences booking with the airline (Aeromexico - never book with them!!), I decided to try Trip.com.

The booking experience was better than the airline, no technical issues, and I can still do online check in with the airline using the booking code I get from Trip.com

I will be using Trip.com wherever possible from now on.

Not just incompetent, but actually fraudulent and operating criminally

I have now been waiting for my insurance reimbursement to be paid back from Vehicle rent for over 7 months. They just stall and stall and stall, but never pay out. I am now in the situation where I am having to seek legal advice in order to potentially sue the company for my money. I will no doubt lose some money in the process but at this stage it's just the principle. They are an insurance company in no sense of the term. You give them money in order to fulfil a legal obligation, but they simply take your money, and never fulfil their obligation of paying out in the event that there is damage to the vehicle. AWFUL company. Save yourself the torture of dealing with this fraudulent company, trust me!

My car was damaged whilst I was renting…

My car was damaged whilst I was renting a car from B-Rent. When I filled in the damage form, they failed to provide me a copy for me to submit to my insurance company. No big deal, I thought, however afterwards I attempted to contact them several times, and they failed to respond to any of my correspondence. I couldn't get hold of them at all. And I was almost unable to submit an insurance claim within the time necessary because their communication was so poor. They also had a bad attitude and no customer service the moment I went to rent from them. It was like I was a burden to them.
