We have four policies with Direct Line

We have four policies with Direct Line. One being our pet insurance. We recently made a claim for our Collie which was declined. In summary DL have stated the issue was a pre existing condition, despite our vet telephoning and writing to them. The matter was escalated to an appeal and handled by a very patronising individual who clearly had no intention of reviewing the matter.
DL will loose four policies, an intransigent company with poor customer service.

Terrible attitude - avoid.

Excellent price and service.

Ordered an Arai helmet from Gearchange. They were the only outlet to stock my size.
I used the online contact service on a Sunday evening and was offered a fantastic price, a significant saving on every outlet.
I ordered late Sunday night, received a tracking number Monday and the helmet arrived on the Tuesday morning.
Excellent value and service, will definitely use again.

V11 Absolute - design flaw and appalling customer service

V11 Absolute, under a year old. Won’t power up, a search online indicates its a common issue. Multiple calls to customer services with 60 minute plus call times. The pre recorded message instructs you to use social media or web chat, web chat is permanently offline and social media is not responded to.
What is the point of a warranty if a repair cannot be arranged. Dry disappointed as to date I have been a loyal customer with various devices. The V11 appears to have a design fault and the warranty useless.

Leslies KIA Isle of Wight

My wife and I purchased a new Kia from Leslies KIA, Isle of Wight 18 months ago but decided to part exchange it for a convertible and place a separate order for a new Kia Sportage. We made a telephone appointment to test drive the car and obtained a favourable valuation for the Kia part ex, subject to condition. On our arrival we spoke to the salesman we had the appointment with. It was immediately apparent that he had forgotten we were due in. We asked to see the convertible only to be told it wasn’t on site, it was at another main dealers being repaired. He then viewed our car and made a comment ‘it’s absolutely unmarked’ and disappeared. He. returned with an offer at the lowest end of his original estimate. We pointed out that this was nearly 1k less than his telephone estimate for a clean car and that he could have told us the test drive wasn’t available. His response was a shrug and a smirk, not even an attempt at negotiation or apology.
We left without even discussing an order for the new vehicle. Our overwhelming impression of this dealership was - unprofessional. If they knew the convertible wasn’t on site and that we were coming to drive it why not tell us before we arrived. To comment on how immaculate our p-ex was and to offer the lowest price in the cap book was an insult only compounded by the smirking salesman. Not even recognition that we were a returning customer, no apology.
We went straight to another main dealer, purchased a near identical convertible and have had an overwhelmingly positive experience, we feel valued as customers.
We did respond to the garages request for feedback comprehensively- twice - inviting a response in case there was a misunderstanding. We also copied in management the second time. Three weeks on and no response.
As an update the garage did respond to a review on another site on this subject promising to make contact. Five days later still no response.

Disgusting service

Booked a group holiday to Marmaris. On arrival we were moved from the five star hotel the transfer dropped us at to a two star one within the hotel group.
Travel Republics ‘emergency’ number was not answered and answer phone messages not responded to throughout the two week break.
The travel rep was contacted at the time and said he would attend, he didn’t and on subsequent calls for assistance were met with a ‘I can’t speak English don’t call me’
It transpired that the hotel we were supposed to have been in had been taken over by a local wealthy family for a wedding and we were moved out for the rooms. The hotel we were moved to was due for refurbishment and was little better than a medieval hovel. Broken sockets, missing tiles, mould and heavily soiled mattresses and carpets, blocked plumbing. It was filthy.
During the course of our stay it was impossible to get any help from Travel Republic.
On return they refused to engage with us and we pursued the matter with ABTA.
It transpired whilst TR are members of ABTA they sub contract out the bookings and the company we unknowingly travelled with was not.
To cut a long story short we received no compensation, ABTA could not pursue the matter and we didn’t even get an so much as an apology from Travel Republic.
I have posted this before and received the stock reply from TR to contact them and they will resolve the matter - they don’t like negative reviews. However they fail to resolve, its smoke and mirrors and they continue to run sickening TV ads and publicity campaigns.
I am posting this to advise any prospective customers to think carefully before booking with TR - based on our costly experience.

Returning to Kaspersky as offers better…

Returning to Kaspersky as offers better value than other brands at the moment.
Only problem I have is configuring the firewall. The self help on the website refers to an older version of the software so it isn’t clear how to set it up.
Frustrating, I have sent a tech support message but have yet to receive a reply.

Excellent quality and service

Have used Stinkyink for a while now. The ink is significantly cheaper than original equipment but I have not noticed a reduction in photo print quality.
Service is fast and reliable.
