Impossible to cancel auto renew

Cheap policy but that’s all it’s got going for it. They make it impossible to turn off auto renew, when they double your premium, you can’t get through on phone or live chat, when you do get through they drag if out. Also thought it was against the rules to give better quotes for renewals vs new quotes, or maybe that’s just motor insurance. You can always get much better perfect pet quotes on the comparison sites vs their renewal for the same coverage!

Nationwide un-fairer share.

I am otherwise happy with the building society but they advertise this fairer share payment of £100, but add so many exclusions that you can’t get the payment, I met all but not in the right order. Not sure anyone gets this payment due to exclusions!

Greedy for Profit with no customer service

There was an issue with the delivery address, so the provider cancelled the order and told my 16 year old son, he needed to wait for 14 days to get his money back. When the money didn’t arrive we chased uber who said too late to claim even though we were just waiting for the refund. So no food and my son is out of pocket by a lot of money for him and customer service won’t help. This is worst possible business, avoid and go direct to the restaurants.

Poor quality products and customer service

Unhelpful staff and poor products. Staff unhelpful and don’t care about your problems when you return items. I seem to be returning too many items, most seem to be already used and I believe are returns they put back on the shelf. The others are just poor and not fit for purpose, as the companies Toolstation buy from have no quality control.

Mind the Gap

Seemed to be a good product at a good price, but after fitting, a huge gap was left between the door and the top outer trim. I went for the mid range product, I understood they are not fully insulated but the person who gave the quote said they would be better fitting then my 30 year old up and over doors but they are not. Why insulate the door panels if you leave a half inch gap letting in cold air and light. I still don’t understand if it’s a design, manufacturing or a fitting issue and the customer service is terrible, they replied after the first communication and then nothing in weeks and no reply to my two other emails. Should have just painted my 30 year old doors, better fitting than Garolla doors.

Website does not work and parcels just turn up on doorstep

I tried to order three times on Black Friday and the order failed every time. Then I see a parcel is going to be delivered, I did not receive an email order, order number and the account setup did not work. Now I will be charged delivery and return delivery, customer service did not care and just cut me off when it got too hard and rejected my request to speak to a manager. Now I have to pay for their incompetence. Avoid their online service. Update, after you replied to offer help, I provided the details and you never got back to me. I reiterate Sportsdirect customer service is poor.

Bought Spear & Jackson 37cm Corded Rotary Lawnmower - 1600W. Lasted 18 months then a £2 switch broke, but you can’t get parts, so have to throw away. What happened to the right to repair, this brand is throw away, just environmental waste.

One month Warranty

Be warned John Lewis touts a 2 year warranty but really is just one month. I have an issue with a printer which is 5 weeks old and they are palming me off to the manufacturer, who is only open during work hours, which I also work so can’t contact. If you try using the manufacturers website you cannot, as you don’t have the correct details as you did not buy from them. So I’m stuck with a product that does not work, a manufacturer I can’t contact and a worthless 2 year warranty from John Lewis, who are saying it’s not our problem. So much for their warranty and customer service!

Great range of products and prices

Great range of products and prices, that are now competing with Amazon. Really handy to collect in store with Sainsbury’s and most orders available within 24hrs. Habitat products provide a higher quality range which was much needed. Also have a good returns policy. Only lost one star as like Sainsbury’s the recycling facilities have been removed.

Environmentally unfriendly

My shopping experience is generally 4 star at Sainsbury’s, but recently when everyone is ramping up their recycling, Sainsbury’s have removed all their recycling facilities. The excuse from the manage who did not care, was they were getting too much recycling, this should have surely been a good thing. They should have a duty of care to provide recycling facilities and not just take all the profit and forget the environment. They removed cardboard, plastic and glass. Our council does not collect large cardboard and glass, so if Sainsbury’s sells these products they should help recycle.

Policy of disrespect

I use to love shopping at Aldi, granted the checkout experience could be a bit difficult at times but the products and prices are great. In the last few weeks they have implemented a policy that assumes all customers are thieves and they have to check through your empty bags to see if you have stolen anything, while the other customers look on. I have a large family and spend a lot at Aldi only to be treated as a thief, with them searching through multiple bags. Just because one in a thousand steal from your store doesn’t give you the right to treat us all like criminals!

Ignores UK consumer rights

This site is a complete con and ignores UK consumer rights, they take your money and don’t refund when you don’t receive your item. They have a cheek to charge extra buyer protection and do nothing to protect the buyer, just another tax. Their support is a rubbish automated system that does not work. Avoid at all costs.

If it works! It doesn’t

Updated my review to one star as my child has run out of medication again. Been chasing for 4 weeks and nothing happens, the last 4 calls they said they would get back to us and they never did!
When it works, it works well; usually easy to order and a good delivery service, but every 6 months or so it falls apart. Currently we will run out of medication tomorrow as they have cancelled the last two orders. For a few weeks now we get different excuses of what the issue is, but usually between three different departments of receiving prescriptions, scanning them and then placing an order. They just don’t have a robust internal process, which is worrying as it’s their core business. Customer service try and help but don’t have a clue and just hang up when it gets hard. Slightly frustrating after you have been on hold for 30min.

Best Value trade ins

CEX by far give the best value for trade ins, whether it be games, tablets or phones. They also have an excellent voucher system so you never lose out. I always get the grade or price around what I expect, where other companies offer you high and give 20% of that when they see your item.

Review of Butcher's Nourishing Food for Dogs

A great product and excellent customer service

I have been using butchers for a 3 years now and is the only food our has not gone off of. We had a small issue with one can and contacted customer service who got straight back to us with a reply and a voucher to replace the product. Quick and friendly service and our dog loves their product!
