Olavita should not be allowed to trade

To cut a long story short, last year I bought their beauty serum, it was rubbish, I returned it to China as per their 'no quibble guarantee' costing me further expense. Olavita claimed to not having had it received back in their warehouse....lost in China, so they say so despite approx 20 emails...there is no way of phoning the in the states, I am £119.99 plus £20.80 out of pocket.
I wrote a couple of reviews explaining all this, and they had the cheek to offer me my refund if I took down my bad reviews, which just shows how invaluable trustpilot is.
One year on I still have had no refund so I will keep up the bad reviews and I would encourage all the people who have had a bad experience to keep on writing bad reviews. This company also has many more bad reviews by people who have spelt their name wrongly. Olivata is a different company who do not want another company's bad reviews.
Thank you Trustpilot for helping to make trading fair and honest.

I wrote my last review about Olivata…

I wrote my last review about Olivata and their dreadful products and service on.9th March. I explained that I bought their serum for £119.99 and according to their no quibble guarantee, I had to return 3 bottles to China costing me a further £20.80. They would not refund me as they say the parcel did not arrive back in their warehouse.
They answered, unbelievably, that if I removed my bad reviews about them, they would give me a full refund!! I can show that email to any of you by request as I don't know how to add it on Trustpilot.
I answered that if they gave me the refund I would take off the bad reviews. Of course they haven't refunded me so I will have to keep on telling everybody that they do not provide quibble free guarantees. They are actually only going to give me my refund if I stop my bad reviews. How really disgusting. I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them.
I wrote at least 14 emails providing all the details and tracking number of the returned items over and over.
What a terrible company you are Olivata and all these other bad reviewers agree.

Review of River Island

Faulty River Island shoes

Faulty shoes
I bought a lovely pair of wedged black shoes with a white sole for £42 from River Island. After 5 months I realised they leaked through the soles. The whole sole was pockmarked with a pattern of round holes. I rang river island and was told to return them to the store. I took them with the receipt to river island Swindon. The young manageress told me they had been 'worn too much' and when I pointed out there should have been a sign on then not to wear too much when I bought them, she said that I had trodden on a set of holes!!
Like a typical woman who loves her shoes, I stupidly bought the same pair in Eastbourne River island. I stopped wearing them before winter so as not to 'wear too much' but in March I wore them again to discover they also leak. They also have an identical pattern of holes on the sole. This second pair was now 8 months old but hardly worn.
I rang River island and was told to send photos and receipts. I did so and today they answered that the second pair were over 6 months old so they could do nothing. They ignored the 5 month old pair and the fact they have identical defective soles. Not good customer service.
Here is a photo of 2 pairs of defective shoes. Cathy Thomas

Olivita is not the same company as…

Olivita is not the same company as Olavita.
The company Olavita, who are conning scammers, are not the same company as Olivita. I feel very sorry for Olivita as lots of these dreadful reviews are about a nasty company who take your money and don't send your product, ignore your emails and do not send refunds even after you spend more money returning their products to China. So before you add your dreadful review (and there are hundreds, including mine) check your spelling.
Certainly do not send off for Olavita, so called, beauty products or you will be as angry as I am.

Beware of Olavita beauty adverts.

Beware.
This is an update to my.previous review about olavita beauty. There are many more reviews by people who have spelt it Olivata.
I purchased the serum in August. It didn't do anything. I wrote to find out how to return my unused product. After about 3 emails to them I was asked to photo the unused bottles. I did this. I was told to return the serum to China, costing me another £20.80. I heard nothing.many emails later...approx 16 altogether and providing the tracking number 5 times I have not had my refund. According to tracking, the parcel was held in customs for a few weeks and now disappeared. Olavita will not refund my £119.99 until the serum arrives back in their warehouse. This is not what it says on their 'quibble free' refund policy. The post office form states that their insurance runs out after 3 months. I returned the serum in November, so it's too late. The emails I have sent are ignored.
After my last similar review to Olavita I received a message from Trustpilot that Olavita wanted more info from me. 'At last!' I thought. I filled in a form with just my email, phone number and tracking number (which they had already, many times). The result....nothing. they haven't contacted me throughout. I will continue to give bad reviews until I am refunded, as per their policy. Cathy Thomas

OLAVITA SKIN.COM Further to my last review about Olavita…

Further to my last review about Olavita skincare, olavita have objected to my review, as they are clearly scamming people. I missed the deadline to write more but can't wait for them to contact me, as they are ignoring my emails. They will not refund my £119.99 and it cost £20.80 to return their product.. the parcel got stopped at customs in China and has now disappeared. Olavita won't refund me as the product is not back.in their warehouse.
This situation has happened many times and there are lots of reviews calling them scammers, and also reviewers have misspelt their name as Olivata so there are lots more bad reviews.
So come on Olavita, contact me. I haven't been able to speak to anyone.
It is now February 2025.

Avoid Olavita skincare

Olavita has many bad reviews. People have also misspelt the word as Olivata so there are many more bad reviews.
I bought their beauty serums. No effect and their refund policy says no quibble guarantee. I sent about 4 emails asking how to return my unused serums. I took a photo of them, posted them to China costing over £20 and waited. I have the PO proof of postage and tracking number. I sent a few more emails asking for my refund. They asked me to track the returns myself. I found that they were stuck.in customs 'pending' for over 3 weeks. I sent a screenshot to prove it. I have now sent 14 emails, as their phone number is ficticious. They answer one in 3 with a set message about how they want nothing.more but to help and keep asking for my tracking number (which I have sent 4 times). They ignore everything in my emails and keep going back to square one with set emails.
I can see I could email them for the rest of my life while they randomly send set emails asking for more details.
The serums are probably held in customs in China as a potential health hazard.
I know their next step. They will reply on Trustpilot saying they want nothing more than to help and ask me for more details.
There are no more details that I haven't already given numerous times. I just want my £119.99 refund.
Addition to this email...I tried ringing the Consumer helpline only to find that as they operate abroad, they are not under any British jurisdiction. I have to ring for international consumer help on a Tuesday or Wednesday. Olavita skincare has a ficticious phone number.

This company's products are expensive…

This company's products are expensive and do not work. The worst of it is, the claim to give a no quibble refund. They insist you send the unused product back to China. This cost me over £20. I have sent 9 emails and given them a photo of the unused bottles and proof of returning to China. Now they are not answering and, according to other reviews (some reviews for this co. have been misspelt as OLIVITA, which is a different company) many other people have not been refunded. They should not be able to advertise their rubbish products or mislead people to pay out more money for returning products to China, or get away with not providing refunds. It is a very expensive SCAM.
Update...finally got an answer from Olavita saying the unused bottles have not arrived in China, asking me to track them using the tracking number. I did this online, to find that they have been held lin customs 'pending' for the last 2 and a half weeks.
I informed olavita and said that it is their problem to sort out. I have now emailed them 10 times about a refund.

John W Davies went into liquidation…

John W Davies went into liquidation 31/1/22. They did the conveyancing on my property which I moved into on 10/12/20. In March this year, they emailed me that their business closed 2 months previously and that my name has not been submitted to the land registry. I believe there are others in this position with them not being registered as the owners of their own home. Please contact cathy m c thomas by message on fb

Bad service. I have had an extremely bad service…

I have had an extremely bad service from Hillary’s blinds. They missed out one of my windows when measuring up and when I rang to find out what time the fitter was coming, it turned out they were out of stock of the materials to even make the blinds and had forgotten to tell me. I had to wait another 6 weeks. An unprofessional service from unpleasant people who do not even apologise for their mistakes. They blame the customer.

Hi Cathy,
We're truly sorry to hear this and have sent a request for additional information so we can look into this for you.
Thanks

**Update**

Thank you for your details, Cathy, we sincerely apologise for the delays that were encountered on the order due to stock issues but I can see that you were given a discount due to this.
In light of the number of blinds, 14 blinds were ordered and fitted as per the invoice and I can see a quotation has been left for the remaining blind.

Not a good service

Not a good service. Very expensive and costs were not even discussed before work started. I regret using them. I have complained but they weren’t prepared to change anything.

This company is disgusting

This company is disgusting. They use live chat so they do not have to confirm any particulars as they would on the phone. I asked 6 times to speak to a manager but could not get past the staff to speak to one. What kind of company will not let you speak to a manager?
Their insurance is not even cheap, their 'free' breakdown service costs £20 a call out, let alone towing charges and the staff are rude. I was cut off from live chat.
My policy number is PTSB09665, client 893866 and you have my phone number on file. I accused your staff of bullying me when they would not let me speak to a manager.
