Yodel definitely a NO NO

When I ordered my item the seller said 1 - 2 days delivery that was a week ago and still no sign of it.
They said they attempted delivery 6 days after I had ordered my item, my wife and myself were in the house all day, we had deliveries from Royal Mail that day but nothing and calling card from Yodel, if the driver did come to our Avenue he's either not got out of his vehicle or gone to the wrong house.
I would NEVER in a million years use Yodel.

I rated Transtools one star and that was too many…

I rated Transtools one star as I couldn't rate it any lower. My order was small however, I have ordered many small items over the years but companies now get away with "it's not us, it's the delivery people" or "it's Covid" or "Brexit" the truth is it's an oversight and it's not been sent. When I contacted Transtools they said "it's up to the delivery service when you get your item, do you want a refund or a replacement" I chose refund as THEY can't give me a delivery day and that's who my contract of purchase is with.
My advice would be if you are thinking of purchasing an item from 'Transtools'try closer to home first or read the feed back.
If they have let people down previously, it's not worth aggravation.

ONE STAR IS TOO GENEROUS

One star is too generous. I want to cancel Virgin due to their LACK of customer service and price hiking in emergency times ie. automated service (when working) exorbitant prices, customer service (non-existent) NOT senior citizen friendly.
I AM TRYING TO CANCEL BUT UNABLE TO CONTACT VIRGIN MEDIA YET AGAIN!!
I WILL STOP MY DIRECT DEBIT IF THEY DON'T CONTACT ME.
UPDATE..23/01/2021...VIRGIN MEDIA ADVISED ME ON TWITTER TO CONTACT THEIR "TEXT TEAM" GUESS WHAT..IT'S AUTOMATED AND A MESSAGE GAVE ME ANOTHER NUMBER TO CONTACT...GUESS WHAT..THE LINES DEAD.
THEY HAVE BROKEN THEIR CONTRACT WITH ALL THEIR CUSTOMERS WHEN THEY SWITCHED OFF ALL PHONE LINES TO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FAULTS.
SO WE HAVE ALL BEEN PAYING FOR A SERVICE WE ARE NOT GETTING. THAT'S DECEPTION.

NO TO VIRGIN MEDIA,THEY MUST BE THE WORST

First of all, one star is far too generous.
THIS COMPANY DOES NOT HAVE A CUSTOMER SERVICE.
It's been two days and I still haven't contacted a single person, my internet hub is not working anymore Virgin's message advises me to go ONLINE!!!! to report it. How STUPID are they. I am a pensioner, and my only contact with the outside world is via the internet for which I pay £65 a month for faulty equipment and NO customer service.
As of the end of this month I will cancel the direct debit.

HERMES ROBBED A PENSIONER OF £110 WITH THEIR INSURANCE SCAM.
It's been 42 days now since I reported the damage HERMES and it seems to PROVE this IS a SCAM, they sent their obligatory email asking for all the details in September 2019.Now it does not matter how many times I try to contact they will not answer.
If I had the money to take them to court I would,as far as I'm concerned HERMES HAVE SCAMMED ME OUT OF £110.

Halfords diabolical Autocentre Service MANCHESTER ROAD,BOLTON

Tues 29/10/2019 @ 1pm
HALFORDS ... MANCHESTER ROAD,BOLTON
After searching online for a car battery, I decided to settle on purchasing from Halfords.The battery was £125 + £15 fitting,I took all the details and drove to Halfords Autocentre Reception on Manchester Road,Bolton.
On my arrival there was just 1 customer in reception I assumed he'd just had work done as the person in reception was printing out his receipt, the guy said to me "I won't be a minute" after 10 minutes I was pacing up and down,just then two women walked in.
Eventually the guy asked what I wanted,I asked if there was any chance they could fit me a battery,I gave him all the details of the battery and price I had been quoted by Halfords online.
After wasting my breath giving him all the details,he decided to check himself and then told me "it's £140 fitted" (fancy that same price as I told him) then he said "I will have to nip next door to check if we have any, as it is a big battery "I won't be a sec

He then turned to the women at the back of me and asked if he could help them, after all this time being messed about I blew up and told him to forget it! Just before leaving I told him serve one customer at a time,he then mumbled "I won't be long" I walked out.
I tried to phone Halfords,guess what? A long,long wait,I hung up in the end.
If the rest of the staff are as slow and as the snail that served me (no he didn't actually serve me,he decided to serve somebody who came in after me.) they certainly need training.
I have been a store manager for over 20 yrs and any member of my staff were as utterly incompetent as this assistant,they would certainly be getting a verbal warning,why pay bad staff when there is plenty good sales staff out of work.

Help from Paypal is ZERO

I tried to report Hermes for damage they had done to an item I sent,this is what I received.....We are sorry that you have experienced an issue in relation to our services. Please allow us the opportunity to address your concerns directly instead of opening a case with PayPal. Contact us at 0330 333 6556 quoting your 16 digit tracking number.
I contacted Hermes 36 days ago,my next step with them is....... Consumer Rights Act and the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
I will not be dealing with Paypal anymore.

HERMES scam pensioner out of £110.

HERMES scam pensioner out of £110.

It's been 36 days since I reported the damaged I sent and so far I have received four emails asking me for the same information and online Hermes have actually put case solved.
My advice if you use Hermes (which I definitely advise you NOT TOO)is DO NOT pay insurance,it's just a scam to get extra money from you.
My next step is to complain to Consumer Rights Act and the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

HERMES INSURANCE SCAM ON PENSIONER

I am a BRITISH PENSIONER of 72 yrs old, worked for 50 yrs and on a basic pension.
HERMES have scammed me with insurance, I need to get a message to all pensioners and working class people like I used to be please read on........
I previously wrote about my damaged parcel (which when arrived at it's destination looked as if it had been thrown from a plane) which I described the size, and the composition of the item.
HERMES advised me to insure the item with them to which I paid their fee.
I reported the damage to them on 21/09/2019 and the last email I received of them is below...

SHIPLY - A BAD EXPERIENCE

I purchased an item on ebay including carrier costs, paid in full via Paypal.
When the guys came with my delivery I had a £5 note to tip them until he said in broken English "I want £50 deposit" I told him he was not getting a bean, and told him to contact whoever had sent him.I was fuming.
I emailed Shiply asked them what was going on,this is their reply.....

The deposit is a part of the transport provider's quote and will be deducted from the amount you need to pay them.

Therefore, you are only required to pay the remaining quote amount to the transport provider as stated in the email we sent you to confirm that payment of your deposit and auction service fee.

Please forward this email to the transport provider and let us know if they intend to charge you the full amount so we can take necessary action against it.

What on earth are you talking about ?
I do NOT have any contract with you.
You have never sent me any such email.
I am NOT and thank God never will be ,a customer of yours.
I have bought an item,the people I bought the item (which included delivery)from arranged with Shipley to deliver.
Do you know what you are talking about?

I just wonder how many people who are maybe not as cautious have fallen for it.

And still no apology, but then again, I don't really expect one, this company can't tell their .... from their elbow.

HERMES I will NOT TRUST them to deliver…

HERMES I will NOT TRUST them to deliver any of my parcels again.

I contacted Hermes to collect and deliver a parcel for me,which was securely packaged as all my items are.(as seen feedback on ebay)
Hermes agent call to collect and said "I don't think that will fit in my car" I noticed as she was making space on the back seat of her small car, she was THROWING parcels into the front of the car.
When you arrange for Hermes to deliver you parcel you are asked
1.What is in the parcel.
2.What is the items composition.
and then you are advised to insure your parcel,which I did for £110.

The recipient of my parcel contacted me as soon as it arrived and sent photos,the item looked as if someone had hit it with a sledgehammer,I was very embarrassed and apologized profusely and gave him a full refund via Paypal.

Hermes response so far.

A bad M&S experience

I ordered flowers etc for my wife as it was our 42nd wedding anniversary.
The order was placed 2 days before our anniversary date and to be delivered on the day.
I received an email from Marks and Spencer saying I could track the flowers and gift. At 9am on the day in question all I could get was "your parcel is in our Depot" I tried again at 10:30 the message was "out for delivery" at around lunchtime,I received an email to say my parcel would be delivered between 13:01 and 15:01.
At 13:15 the tracking showed the delivery van about 1/4 mile away from me and I was next on the list, 20mins later the delivery service was in another town.
As 17:15 as the delivery still had not arrived and M&S had completely ruined and wasted a full day,I cancelled the order and demanded a full refund.
I won't be shopping with Marks and Spencer ever again,life's to short.
I received from M&S this email...

Too many dishonest sellers.

Won the bid on an item for the minimum bid, as I was the only bidder, paid for the item straight away.(The item I won was 16 metal dinky vehicles in a wooden case) The following day I received a message saying they had been posted.
Three days later I received another message to say they have returned my payment as the metal cars had been in the attic and got dampness on them.(DAMPNESS ON METAL CARS!!!!)
I suspect they did not want to sell them as they did not reach a price they expected or they had sold them elsewhere at a higher price.
EBAY didn't get in touch ever. Be very careful on this site ask questions and see photos because once you've purchased you will NOT receive help from EBAY.
I WILL NOT BUY FROM EBAY ANYMORE DECEITFUL SELLERS GO UNPUNISHED.
