My boiler broke down and I wished I had called British Gas first. Let's say there are a lot of cowboy outfits out there. I got a next day appointment after calling British Gas in the afternoon. The engineer turned up on time and was able to diagnose and resolve there and then. This is after enduring a few days of a No show, a company trying to take money from my account before turning up and being charged £182 for 30 min visit wrong diagnosis and £600 estimate for an alleged repair. Lesson learned always call the experts. Thankful for British Gas.
