The initial booking was easy & at a competitive price. A few weeks later I had to change the times of the car parking & this was quicky amended. Unfortunately at short notice, I had to cancel the whole booking. This was handled quickly & courteously & the refund was paid within a few days.
Initially they provided a very good price for the timber I wanted & the delivery was quick. However if I'd known it was coming from a local builders merchants, I'd have collected it myself & saved the delivery costs. Within a day or so, I realised that I would be needing more of the same timber so I contacted the merchants directly to be told that they don't supply that size. I therefore rang Building Shop & spoke to Gary who contacted the merchants again on my behalf & arranged another order, which I collected myself, all within the hour & I was able to continue with my project. The price I paid turned out to be much less than the builders merchants price for the same timber. Well done Building Shop.
This is regarding the booking process only as we have yet to take the holiday. Monalisa was very helpful & flexible regarding our booking. She not only price matched some better & cheaper flights found by us than had been suggested by her, but beat the overall price considerably.
I have been using Chip for well over a year now. Amongst other things, Chip offers a generous interest rate on their savings accounts. The app is straight forward to use & deposits & withdrawals are completed within seconds, if you take advantage of the true layer function linking it to you own bank account. Interest is paid monthly, rather than facing to wait year(s) in the case of most other savings account.
**Update** 5th October The item arrived over 4 weeks after the order placed (see below). The price was great but was it worth the wait & the hassle of trying to chase up a company who you can't contact other than putting a review on Trustpilot? I've changed my rating from 1 to 3 as a result of it arriving.....eventually.
Order place on 5th September, email received in 6th to say it had been shipped. Royal mail tracking states that they are expecting it & nothing further since. Emails to miagadget just bounce back. This is not good enough & may be part of a big scam.
I would like an update asap please.

I ordered some items at a great price which were due for delivery a few days later & well before an impending holiday. However after collecting the items, the courier then hung onto them for over a week (and as far as I know still has them) with no delivery date in sight. I therefore contacted MandM by email to explain the situation and within hours customer services had arranged next day delivery at no extra charge. The price of the items was great but the customer service was absolutely brilliant. Well done MandM, particularly Paulina for sorting this out.
Like many others I fell foul of this "hidden" membership. However I did realise within a few minutes of placing my order & immediately sent an email to cancel my order, membership & request a refund. Unfortunately by the time they responded the book had been sent & I had received it. I then was given 2 options, to continue with the "membership" with the option of cancellation after a month or return the book with the 14 day cooling off period at my expense. I chose the latter & await my refund. Despite the hidden membership issue, I must say that the Buuks UK response did seem reasonable after I sent my email.

Unfortunately I had to cancel my holiday parking due to CoVid. After being issued with a voucher, I was promised a refund but was unable to process this as my card details had changed. I therefore contacted Holiday Extras via the live chat & was dealt with by Jack. He was very helpful & managed to sort out my refund, which I should get within 7-10 working days.
Unfortunately the item was found to be damaged on unpacking it. In addition we felt that the quality wasn't quite what we'd expected. After contacting customer services, I found them to be very helpful in arranging the return & a full refund.
