Arrived on time, damaged new floor

Arrived on time but dragged the tumble dryer over a brand new marble floor, scratching it. They first claimed they didn't do it, then asked me over the phone if I'm "ok with it", finally reported it as "tiny" on their own forms. Could do with some customer service training. I'll be spending my own money and time trying to fix it by the looks of it

Incapable of telling the truth

Had a delivery arranged with these guys via palletline on a named day. First day didn't come as they forgot to load it on the truck. They promised to send it first delivery in the morning next day. Then I'm told it is arriving between 1 and 3. Every time I call them I am told a lie about when it will arrive. Cannot be trusted. Not sure how you forget to load 35 boxes of flooring...

Irresponsible sales practices, shoddy service

Irresponsible sales practices that include misleading pricing, negative advertising and bullying into quick decisions. They come round to your house, quote really high prices which they say can only be secured that day to then be dropped on the phone a few days later. They string stories about how bad local glazing companies are. Surveyor didn't show up for over a month. Then I was told that I was going to be supplied a window including an architrave and cill, which later gets added to the order at a cost of hundreds of pounds months after the deposit was paid. Meanwhile you get so many calls from sales people who seem to have no idea that you have an active order and they constantly ask you how much you paid for your windows that they sold you. Avoid, it is not worth it believe me! The local suppliers who they claim to be a bunch of thieves will treat you like a human being and not a walking ATM machine

Didn't meet any deadlines, ignored all contact, rude

Promised to deliver in 3 days, then missed this deadline by weeks and never responded to any emails or calls (even though their website says they respond to all enquiries in 24hrs). After cancelling my order after giving up, no response. Eventually they came back to me after I told a delivery company trying to send the order weeks late I had cancelled it. No apology. Awful service, I will never use again under any circumstances

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE!!!!!!

Ordered a mirror, a bench and some pillow cases in mid November. Only the mirror was delivered, and after calling West Elm they told me over and over again that all the items were with the delivery company, who they were contacting and not replying. After a month or so of calling and emailing I asked if I could speak to the delivery company Wincanton. They said yes and gave me the number, and it didnt work!

Fortunately I managed to find my own number for the company, who I called and said they didn't have the items and they never were delivered. Now spoke to West Elm again, they admittedly immediately they don't know where the stuff is, and think they have lost it!

They told me many times I would get a call from a supervisor, or passed to another team. Now I am waiting again, very much assuming I'll get no call and still have no idea when this stuff will arrive. The customer service team is based in America and seem totally clueless and unproactive. Their follow up has been "I'll write it on a post it note and leave it on my desk" rather than any idea of when things will get delivered.

What a joke, the delivery cost £80! I am still owed £300 worth of things and have no idea when they will arrive. Looking at the other reviews I have no idea how the company is getting away with it.
