Not the best
Renting through Life Residential wasn't the best experience. At first everything was going smoothly, I was shown available apartments, and have quickly made the decision to take it. I was really rushed to make a payment, as I was told I needed to move in the 3rd of August, the next day it turned out it's 30th - not the 3rd. The agent was taking very long to respond to emails, if at all, he also won't answer his phone or call back. He has claimed russia is a part of EU, and didn't think I need my visa to be shown. When I came into the office for my documents to be scanned, another agent forgot that I supposedly had to put my signature on the copies. The next day I received the call and got asked to come and do so. After I wondered what were the reasons behind such procedure, the agent has claimed it's a UK law. However after he send me a link to "such law" there was nothing said about signing photocopies. So I had to speak to The manager and he explained it's the policy of the agency - not the government law...
Furthermore, my guarantor had to come into the head office to show his bank statements, he insisted they didn't take the copies. However couple of days later my agent called him again asking to come in and take copies, even though it was already agreed with someone else that it's not necessary. Clearly the communication between the employees isn't too great.
Overall it wasn't the best experience, and I won't recommend Life Residential to anyone.
