Amazing service! I made a second purchase from this company recently and emailed to ask if there was any chance of a speedy delivery on the camera lens as I am due to go on holiday. They promised delivery on the 25th August, in time for my holiday, and it turned up on the 23rd August. They may not be as cheap as some other websites but I still saved a decent amount of money and on both occasions have received my good within a few days. I'd highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a good deal on camera equipment.

I ordered a Tamron lens for my DSLR and then read reviews on here about Venture Direct and thanked my lucky stars i'd paid by credit card. After 2 weeks I'd heard nothing so spoke to someone via the online chat system. It did seem a little generic in terms of the response but it was followed up with an email to state that my order was delayed as stock had run out and new stock was on the way. Basically this company is based in China so you have to be patient. My lens arrived after roughly 4 weeks. I'm torn between 3 or 4 stars but have given them 3 on the basis of the following. No contact about the delayed delivery until I chased my order. When my lens arrived it wasn't very well packed meaning the box was slightly damaged. Otherwise I am really happy that i managed to save a lot of money. An alternative should you be looking for camera equipment is e-infinity who were excellent.
