Now to be honest thing didn't turn out as planned.
I ordered my stair runner carpet from Carpet Runners on recommendation and reviews. Having seen one of there carpets in a friends house I decided to go ahead and get one for my home and the reviews from others didn't give a negative vibe either.
So I order my chosen carpet and also the underlay and gripper package also ( this was all cut to size so no faffing about, another plus) and also next day delivery, everything went through and as I ordered late Wednesday night I knew the next day would be Friday (not a problem).
I received an email confirming the order and delivery plus a tracking Ref number.
Come Friday and waiting all day nothing came from Carpet Runners, and as this was late Friday Carpet Runners where closed and they do not do business over the weekend, but I did phone the courier and of-course they put the blame squarely on C.R.
First thing Monday morning I phoned C.R. customers services and i got answered right away, I explained the circumstances and the gentleman looked straight into it and it turned out that the fault laid with the courier (I already knew this). I was given the option of a refund or a new consignment I took the latter and true to his word the carpet turned up on time and intact.
Now the reason for the story was not to belittle C.R. in any way ( I gave them 5 stars) it was to let others know that cause if it all doesn't go to plan don't get upset but find out before losing the rag.
Carpet Runners staff are well trained, courteous and polite, they do not put blame on the customer, they listen to your query and they have the utmost respect for you.
There product is great quality and price, I Live in a town house so I will be ordering more from them without any hesitation and knowing if it does go wrong again ( I hope not ) I have nothing to worry about, I strongly recommend them for Quality, Price and customer service
