Just posted my first Partnership Return having realised last night (Sunday) that I couldn't do it online through the gov.uk website. HMRC recommended GoSimpleTax and after a bit of jiggery pokery trying to work out what to do, it became quite simple. A couple of glitches on the website wasn't an issue as the customer service the next day by email was superb - very quick replies indeed, efficient and friendly (a real bonus as some online firms are very slow) which made all the difference. Delivered fine in the end (24 hours late), but the tracking was not updated at all until after the evening on the day the parcel was supposed to have been delivered. This caused worry for the customer and hassle for us in trying to locate the parcel. All of a sudden the parcel arrived the next day and so all fine in the end, but tracking updates would have been very useful in this instance.

As an eBay business we have used P4D very regularly over the past 3-4 years and have found their website and customer service very good indeed (with a standard £50 compensation). Their prices are a touch higher than other sites but the peace of mind we have with them is worth every penny of the small additional cost. We've had awful trouble in the past contacting other online courier agents (P2G as an example).

We tend to use their UPS and Collect+ drop off services, with ParcelForce occasionally. Their overseas service using their own courier (FedEx, we believe, shipped via their offices in Banbury) is very good as it's both affordable (via Collect+ initially) and convenient as they print out and sort the customs forms.

P4d offers a superb pre-buy credit system where you can buy £1,000 worth of credit and receive a 10% bonus (much better than any bank's interest rate!). Fast replies to emails and also online chat facility. No real issues yet and so we'll continue to use them indefinitely.

Not sure if it's because we're regular customers but we have a direct dial number so, if we need to (only on occasion), we can call up and speak to an actual human being - very useful if there is a slightly fiddly or urgent query with an order!

Have used Collect Plus for my business for several months now since the local Hermes drop shop closed. So far so good after sending a couple of hundred parcels or so. Would recommend highly. We book them using P4D.co.uk
