Good service

Greenhouse ordered 14/1/25 - delivered 24/4/25 with one piece missing (a shelf) which I received on 19/6/25. I dealt with Ian Willstead who was very helpful. The construction crew arrived on the evening of delivery and were superb. The job was done and all the rubbish (card/plastiv etc.) was cleared and removed by them. They were polite and knowledgable - my only niggle was the wait for delivery.

My wife & I are both in our late 70's. The hotel was great as were luggage, check in and security at both Manchester and Menorca. What was awful was the long walk from the terminal at Manchester to gate 202 and again another long walk in Menorca which was repeated on the home leg. Gales 201 to 210 at Manchester spoilt the holiday for us both. As most passengers to Menorca are over retirement age someone at Jet2 need to put their thinking caps on re what boarding/landing gates to use. The plane used was so old it may have been a bi-plane in a previous life - very hard seats.

Having used the company now known as TUI for over 20 years I found that it's customer service had deteriorated to such a state that any query (not a complaint) was just totally ignored. Having taken up to 4 holidays a year with them I felt that to be ignored in this manner was unacceptable. I was told to check out Jet 2 which I did. So far the experience has been excellent both at the airport, the flights and at the hotels. The bag collection service in resort hotels is excellent, so much so that I now look for hotels where Jet 2 provide that service. I have already booked my 2019 holiday through Jet 2.
