I have never dealt with them yet I receive their flyers in the mail, even though I put a sticker on the door that says no junk mail. I will leave a one star review every time I receive one of their flyers.

Just to clarify, our leaflets aren’t delivered directly by Checkatrade, they’re distributed by Royal Mail.
If you’d like to stop receiving this type of mail altogether, you can opt out directly through Royal Mail’s Door-to-Door Opt-Out Service. You can find the form and instructions on their website, or by contacting your local Royal Mail delivery office.
We completely understand this isn’t ideal, and we appreciate you taking the time to let us know — it helps us keep improving how we communicate with people.
They messed up my glasses three times at which point I went to a local shop which did a much better job. Worst thing, I keep getting junk mail from them even though I never signed up for it. I will leave a one star review every time I receive one of their flyers.

Every month I receive a fake credit card in the mail from these scammers. I never signed up for this or even interacted with them. I will leave a one star review every time they send me that rubbish.

What a disappointment. I booked a long haul trip with them and was downgraded from business to Economy on two legs of the trip. There was no apology or compensation from them.
Dreadful experience trying to book flights on their website. It takes ages to load, some features only work on certain browsers, very poor UI, and even if you get past all of this the website hangs on the payment confirmation page. Support is useless and doesn't know how to help.
They send spam even though I did not sign up for any marketing emails. No way to unsubscribe either.

Bupa can be great when their services work, but talking to them on the phone is a frustrating experience. I spoke to 3 different customer service agents recently and they all contradicted each other and one of them missed important details in my policy.
This was eventually resolved after I made a complaint, but it doesn't give me much confidence when each time I call them I get a different answer to my question.

I've bought several Billingham bags over the years including the Hadley Pro, 2020 and One. I've taken them to many remote parts of the world, from Gabon and Sumatra to the Namib and Sahara and many others. So far they're all going strong.
Dissapointed with Jessops. I ordered an expensive Sony lens that showed as in stock on February 25, and it was not delivered until March 8. There was no contact whatsoever from them apart from the order confirmation. When I emailed a few days later I got a non-committal reply saying they would dispatch the week after. I had to call them to check on the order and to ask for quicker delivery, and it still took 11 days. For an item that was supposedly in stock.
This is why Amazon keeps getting Jessops' customers. They're a soulless corporation, but they do care about delivery times and updates, unlike Jessops.
Vehicle insurance is £1800 up from £1000 last year. I have not made any claim or changes. I also can't cancel without calling them or installing their useless app.

At the point of each renewal the policy details are reviewed and as a result the perceived risk posed by the policy details can change even if the details don't. It may be the case that on this occasion the underwriters of your policy perceived a higher risk and the increase in price reflected that.
Please note, your policy details are not the only factors considered. Industry trends, rise in claim costs, how many accidents the make and model of your car are involved in throughout the year etc can all have an impact. Customers can help the price by having a clean driving history, however, an industry that runs on a worse case scenario determines that external factors beyond your control may impact the price.
You can remove the auto-renewal from your policy at any point during the first eleven months of the policy. This can be done on the app/online account or by calling the Renewals team on 0333 321 9790. Information concerning this is shown in the very first set of documents that are sent to you. No claims or changes but renewal price is more than 50% higher this year. Trying to cancel the policy is unnecessarily complicated and slow. Renewal is scheduled in two weeks but they sent me a confusing email thanking me for having already renewed?
