Within nines months of normal use my Spiral Legacy backpack is falling apart at the seams, to the point that it's almost unusable (straps have almost fully detached from the bag).

Website mentions a "Quality Guarantee", without offering any further details of what this means (in hindsight this is a warning sign) – the response when I contacted customer services was to ignore the questions I asked and send a standard copy and paste response, directing me to the retailer (who were also unwilling to help).

Two stars because the item was practical and stylish for the short time it lasted.

Received a faulty item which was returned for a quick and simple refund - sometimes it takes things to go wrong to find out how much a company really cares about it's customers, and Merlin sure do!

I've ordered from SJS a few times and never had a single issue - they stock plenty of 'odd' bits and pieces that are hard to find elsewhere, and it's not often that their prices are beaten.
