Inefficient chargers

Whilst the overall experience was good, the charger used was very inefficient, worst than AC charging. First time using Osprey as I had 25kWh free and needed a top up. I added 25.6kWh to the car, the charger charged me for 32.11kWh that's a 20% efficiency rate. I normally use Tesla chargers and get 5-10% efficiencies. The 82p charge rate actually costs 98p taking into account the inefficiency of their DC charger, good thing I had 25kWh free! I'll unlikely use Osprey again, opting more for the open Tesla charger. I used the 60kW charger at Plough, Lincoln.

Able were not able to deliver in a timely manner - 10 months!

Able were not able to deliver on a repair to a simple broken leaded window in a timely manner. It took them nearly 10 months to replace/repair a simple square leaded window. However it only took them 1 day to issue an invoice and badger me for payment!!!

Review of TorFX

Smooth transaction

The transaction to convert USD to GBP went very well. Once I got the USD funds moved to my UK bank the transfer to TorFX was made in minutes and the GBP funds were transferred to to my UK bank on time as per the contract. Their conversion rates were very competitive to other brokers. No issues with TorFX at all and would be happy to use again.

Customer service?

Visited Evans twice this year and each time the experience was very poor. The staff were rude, unhelpful and unfriendly. Loud music (if you can call it music) was playing and access and location is very poor. Parking for cars is in a private car park (shared with a hotel) that charges £2.00 for an hour, only after I paid and went into the store was I told I didn't have to pay - no offer of a refund or apology. Next time I cycled there and the storage facility for cycles is pathetic. Again the staff were very unhelpful, and acted as if I was interrupting them, they could use some customer experience training.
