I can't praise Cazoo enough

I can't praise Cazoo enough! Buying a car has never been so easy and pain-free! I was kept informed of any changes by phone/email. Mike, the delivery guy was absolutely fantastic. He phoned me 15 minutes beforehand to say he was on his way, and made the whole experience so smooth and easy. I am over the moon with my new car and can't stop looking at it! Thank you Cazoo and Mike!

Fantastic customer service!

I ordered a coat from here but it wasn’t suitable, so I returned it. I emailed SilkFred to enquire about receiving a refund, and got a reply almost straightaway apologising that my refund had not been issued yet, and that it would appear in a few days, but if not then I should contact them again. How refreshing to receive a prompt and friendly reply. Thank you Helen at SilkFred!

Unhappy customer

I purchased a neck support at the end of November as a Christmas present for my son. Unfortunately it’s not suitable for him, and so I requested a return and refund. This is part of the reply I received:

“I believe you already know about our return/refund policies. According to our refund policies, all return orders are covered within 14 days. And it is impossible to refund after the 14 days period later the day of delivery.”

I understand this, but as other companies have waived the 14 day rule over Christmas, I would have thought that Rylax would have been kind enough to do the same. I now have an unwanted neck support that cost £28 that will most likely end up in the bin.

Wish I hadn’t switched to Octopus

I switched to Octopus because of the excellent reviews and the price. I wish I hadn’t now. They informed that I am using too much energy for the price I pay per month, so my monthly payments are to be increased by over £60. I replied immediately, explaining that I can’t afford this, and asking if I would have to pay exit fees if I switched back to my previous supplier. I did not receive a reply until today, telling me that the increase is starting on the 15th August. 😡

Update: Octopus contacted me to apologise and explain, for which I am much appreciative.

Don’t bother.

I bought a voucher for the Crystal amazements in March for my son’s birthday. However we were unable to use it because of the coronavirus. I messaged Groupon several times to ask what we should do and was told to wait to hear from them. I didn’t hear anything so I emailed again. Still didn’t hear back so I asked for a refund. I received an email saying I had been refunded so I expected to receive the £99 in my bank account. When it didn’t appear, I sent yet two more emails. Groupon had given me a credit voucher instead of a monetary refund. I queried this twice, but each time was refused my money back, due to the cancellation period expiring. I tried again to get my money back as Groupon were the ones who had told me to wait in the first place, but again was denied a refund. I am so angry about this. My son has been made redundant due to the coronavirus and I wanted to give him the £99. I will never ever buy anything from Groupon again.
