Great product. I use window film over and over again in different period properties to freshen up bathroom windows and for privacy. Also for glass panels in Victorian front doors. Made to measure Purlfrost panels are quick and easy, great value and give an elevated look for a small outlay.

We had to replace the stained glass panes in our front door. 5mm toughened glass then purlfrost made to measure pieces gave just the right effect. The house is warmer now too as the stained glass was very thin and a security issue. Highly recommend - just measure carefully.

A good company to deal with. Although the two items I ordered weren’t quite right for me, I received a full refund to my bank account in just a few days. The returns process was easy too.

No going back now I’ve started using Fussy. It’s great.

I love Vax cleaning machines. Nice and light, easy to put together. Good intuitive design. I like the cordless tools best - the batteries are easy to swap in and out and they fit all the different tools. I have multiple vacuums and the cordless spot cleaner. The vacuums have good attachments. My cleaners love them too. They fit easily into a Tote bag they carry iver their shoulder, then piece together again easily. No humping heavy Henrys up and down stairs. Easy to store in a cupboard. Tbh, I still have a Henry for when a tough clean is needed say after building work, or a deep clean now and then. But the nimble Vax is my go to helper on a daily basis. I tried so many other brands but was disappointed until I switched to Vax. Some of those other makes were sooo heavy (Shark, you know who you are…). Do your own research and spend a lot of money in the process. Or just get a Vax. 🤷‍♀️😆

The van broke down. On a hill, on a bad curve, in the rain and mist. Treacherous for everyone concerned. AA arrived reasonably quickly and went above and beyond to get the van towed a few miles to a dealership for repairs. Really helpful operative. Confirmed my faith again in the AA as the best recovery service you can buy.

An attractive rug, delivered slightly earlier than quoted. Colours look as online. A soft rug. The only issue is it can’t easily be vacuumed without being sucked up by the vacuum cleaner. I will look into sticking it down with rug holder from Ikea. A shame as otherwise happy with it.

A great course if you are ready to start doing deal sourcing either part-time or full-time, especially if you are willing to invest in the software to make that 100 times easier than it used to be. Property Filter will take the hard work out of it... just saying.

I ordered a Burlington loo seat, soft close, colour ‘Dark Olive’. Very happy with it. A quality, solid seat. It was very well packaged esp the foam protection on the corners. It arrived in good time. A good all round shopping experience.

The Brody console table (from Swoon) I bought is a contemporary design with clean lines and slightly industrial vibe (acacia wood top and black metal legs). £314 including £15 delivery charge. However the two drawers do not pull out smoothly. They don’t seem to be on runners. It takes two hands to get them open and it’s fiddly. Disappointing for the price of the console. Can’t see me using the drawers much and the whole point was to have somewhere to throw my keys when I get in! Otherwise happy with the table. Delivery by RhenusHD was a bit of a palaver. The first quoted delivery date didn’t happen because I had to reply to the text message in some way that wasn’t obvious to confirm the date. The second date didn’t happen because a driver went ill and all items on the round were not delivered. The third attempt a couple of days later was successful and the two man crew put the table together in situ, which was great. They were very nice guys. But by then the excitement of the table had waned somewhat. That said the table still got to me in two weeks and the delivery estimate was 2-3 weeks. In summary, great design table so long as you don’t really want to use the drawers very often and don’t mind some messing around with the delivery company.

Hermes lost my parcel from The White Company. Value £175. Said it was out for delivery then “pouff” it disappeared. After 7 days they admitted they’d lost it. I had contacted The White Company after 5 days, they said ‘it will be with you in 48hour’ at the end of which I received confirmation it was lost. Now I go back to TWC and tell them and eventually I get a refund. Do I go again? So exhausting. Not the first time Hermes have messed up an order from The White Company. Why do they still use them? It makes me think twice about ordering things online with The White Company. I’m sure that can’t be good for business.

Order turned up on time, all items on a pallet. A couple of toilet pans (plumber says they have no floor fixings included, which is a bit disappointing). A shower screen (not yet unpacked). A couple of basins. They look fine. Plumber says he has to fiddle around a bit with the basin outlets - pack out with rubber washers, because the length is not quite the standard length. Seems odd as you would expect the ceramic part to be built to a standard size. The white toilet seats I bought to got with the toilet pans are okay - a bit disappointed if I’m honest as although the lid fits well and looks modern, when you lift the lid the toilet seat part you sit on seems a bit small, and doesn’t fully cover the ceramic base. I suppose then it’s a bit of a mixed bag. Nothing so wrong I need to return the items but some niggles.
