So I was living in my flat for over a…

So I was living in my flat for over a decade and they moved a new guy in opposite. He was basically dealing, having people show up late at night, early hours of the morning and having them arguing in the communal hall way. Then he got a dog that he doesn't walk so he opens his front door, waits for the dog to pee and poo in the communal hall way then goes back in. To top it all off, he was caught on the ring door bell of multiple residents with a knife, telling people come out and fight him. So guess who Phoenix move out? Not the knife welding, drug dealing animal abuser, but the people who were quite happy living there before this individual moved in. So quite a few of us have had to move out due to the incompetence of phoenix who would rather allow this dangerous individual to remain than kicking him out. He even threatened a women who lived by herself, early hours of the moaning banging on her door to let him in. It's also crazy that because their web address changed that you can no longer leave a review on the original trust pilot page which is at 2.1/5 stars from 20 reviews.

I have been dealing with Muhidin Hasan who is the Home Ownership Officer. At first they were quick to reply but like everything Phoenix they quickly stop being helpful and you have to chase them up.

The location for this violent person is Swiftsdens way br1.

100+ videos
20+ emails
10+ phone calls
1 meeting with June
I have collected all that above as evidence of the incompetence of P.C.H

My next port of call will be through the courts as I have put up with their cr*p for the past 2.5 years. They say they will do something but won't. Just collect the evidence as you go along. Every time you contact them or they contact you write this down in a diary l, save any email correspondence or letters they send you. Make sure you get CCTV so you have videographic evidence that they cannot dispute. Give them a few chances to correct the wrongs and then take your case to the citizens advice bureau and furthermore if needed.

I have used them for years and…

I have used them for years and generally it's good service but when something goes wrong the customer service is difficult to deal with it.
The automated phone system is absolutely hopeless and then you wait 10 minutes on live chat only to see a message that says no agents are available so the live chat has been cancelled.

"We attempted to collect your parcel. Unfortunately it was not possible due to the reason stated below" but you don't offer any other information, like will the driver try again the next working day or do I have to re-arrange collection for another time?

Then after 3 attempts I got onto live chat where the operator told me they have no access to the system that deals with collections, then advised me to wait until 18:00 to see if the driver shows or not and if not contact the live chat that doesn't work most of the time again so I can have the collection re-booked. . .
So went to contact live chat at 18:00 so they could contact the depot and got this message "We're sorry, chat is currently unavailable, We're sorry, chat is currently unavailable
Chat hours are listed below.
Monday - Friday: 08.00 AM - 06.00 PM BST"

Then to top it off the feedback link at the end of the chat didn't work.

What an absolute pain in the backside.

You should be made liable for fly tipping because that's what it is. Loads of your bikes left, chucked on the streets and in parks. They seem to be magnets to children who's parents haven't bothered to spend time with them.

Once again customer service for RM is…

Once again customer service for RM is useless.
Your complaints service seems so out dated. Horrible forms to fill out where you can't copy paste information and then emails asking for tracking codes and reference numbers when the problem isn't specific 1 parcel but instead a persistent issue that has been going on for years.

Too many of your workers (Sherman road) don't scan collection items at the door step. Often this seems to be agency workers. This means if I hand over the time I have no proof that it's been collected, if it goes missing you will then say we have no history it was ever received and therefore I am unable to claim for loss of goods. On the other end of that equation, if I refuse the collection due to no scan then you're wasting my time and then you're charging me "£0.20"to take my own items to the post office.

Useless as ever

Useless as ever. Honestly sort out your claim website.
You have to manually enter all the information, it won't allow you to paste tracking codes and things like ebay id and then after you have entered all that information it says "this is not 10 days after the due date so we cannot proceed" Why not tell the user this as soon as they enter the send date and the service used?? It's a ball ache site to use and feels like its from the dark ages of the internet. Surely once someone has entered the tracking information it should know from there how to proceed.

Horrible company to deal with if you're a resident where they park their cars.

DY22 SXH. This cars horn has being going off along with the alarm all hours of the day and night.
You go on a UK (.co.uk) website to report the car and get results "Reserving a Zipcar in Canada? Here's what you need to know"

It's now April 2024 and my first problem with this company started 19 Jul 2021. . .Shows you how lackluster they are in regards to people that live where they run this business. I guess it's a little better now as the cleaning teams are not turning up at 2am and urinating in the street any more.

Quality control seems very poor

Quality control seems very poor.
I bought 7 items from them and 4 of them arrived with imperfections or damage. This was after delay in their delivery service. It's a shame really as some of their stuff is nice and supporting UK made goods is something I want to do but this is the 2nd time I have had issues buying from this company. I guess when all else fails there's always Hope.

I have been woken up by this company for years now. When users can't find their car they can beep the cars horn from the app on their phone, it helps them located the car. So you get people using this feature at anti social hours outside your house. Any smart reasonable considerate company would have restricted this feature after 9pm but not this company.

Free collection is a bit of a scam

Free collection is a bit of a scam. When the post person doesn't arrive (25% of the time) I have to take those parcels to the post office but then you charge me 16p per parcel.

"You have been charged £0.16, paid to the Royal Mail Group Ltd."

Why am I paying money to you because your staff failed to collect? It makes no sense. If they had turned up at the correct time I wouldn't need to go to the post office.

unfortunately due to engineer's unavailability has left no accessible appointment times. Therefore, if you could please get in touch with us after a week, we will dispatch an engineer to address your concern" This the response I got from live chat. We've been waiting for 10 months to get the faulty smart meters replaced, each time some excuse. Last time they claimed they could fix the problem (for the 2nd time) remotely and once again it failed. Why is it so difficult to get faulty equipment replaced?

I have already tried your DM via facebook, no one replied, it was automated and sent me back to live chat with someone where I had to explain everything all over again. If direct messages online via facebook and X is the height of your customer service then that's pathetic.

It's a nightmare to get anything done

It's a nightmare to get anything done. Since March 2023 we've been trying to get both smart meters fixed, since then we had one engineer turn up but he couldn't get access to the mains so couldn't replace the meters. If they need access to the mains it would've be helpful if this was made apparent during the 5 weeks we had to wait for the appointment. We live in flats so the fuse board for exterior electrics are owned by the lease holder/ land lord. Once again British Gas operative is now saying we don't need an engineer to come and replace both meters & that they can fix this problem remotely but we've already had that method tried and it failed. It seems that operatives via live chat has limited access to your files. I have to explain the problem each and every time I speak with someone, surely it's there on file? Smart meter "stopped receiving the instructions" and then the appropriate action can be taken. At this stage we don't want pre-paid and want to switch to direct debt.
It's also tedious to receive cheques in the post because we've been over paying for our energy, it would be much better if you just refunded those funds to the payment method that paid for the energy in the first place. Imagine if the cheques get lost in the post, people would be none the wiser.

I had really great customer service with this company. 2 people, Emma and Phillip dealt with me in regards to a warranty claim. My steamer broke after about 10 months and it was easy to contact Shark and get it replaced. They sent DPD with a timed slot to collect my old steamer free of charge, DPD even supply the label and before they had even received the faulty steamer back they had shipped out my new replacement which arrived within 48 hours. It couldn't have gone any easier for me. Thanks.

I would advise avoiding this company

I would advise avoiding this company. It is also known as Mark Anthony Cycles, look up the owner and address they are owned by the same people in the same location. Both have poor review scores here and on google reviews. First time around I used them as Mark Anthony Cycles, they never sent out my item, poor communication and finally it was very long winded to get refunded. I hand to keep calling them. Then I use activesport and ordered some brake seals. They send the wrong ones, they didn't know what the right ones were, then sent some replacements which were also incorrect, at that point I gave up with them. They don't seem to know what they are selling. I had to basically educate them on the correct seals needed to which they were unable to provide anyway.

They charge you 16p per parcel for their failure.

Another failed collection. You offer a collection service but it is very unreliable. My main postman tells me when he's going on holiday because he knows the service will become terrible once he's off work and he's correct. So then I wait around, no one to shows up so I have take my parcels to the post office and then you're charging me 16p per parcel for wasting my time and failing.

Charged £0.32 extra because you failed.

Then when you do the claims form online RM refund you via a cheque of all things. I never paid via cheque so why refund me via cheque? It's a waste of resources sending a cheque through the post only for it to end up in the recycling bin.

One of their couriers got into the flats and stole peoples parcels that royal mail left. I contacted uber eats via email about the issue quoting the crime reference number (3217524/23) and never ever received any correspondence. I have to chase up royal mail otherwise I'm out of pocket. I know they will just say, they are self employed but the neighbour used your app to book the delivery, you got paid a percentage for the rider to come here.

Customer service is hard work

Smart meter? It's rubbish, it doesn't connect to the network so when you top on the website it never receives the signal to put the money on so you're left doing it manually and that's if you get the code which if you close down the browser you wont because their email service doesn't work either and email is where the code is sent I have been trying to change over to direct debt for months now because of this top up system. It says you have topped up and paid but the "energy" is in cyberspace leaving you stranded. Calling them they are saying we owe £90, it's a top up meter, how can we owe £90. . .We're in credit on both. Call them and it is a call center in India and the person has a thick Indian accent so about 50% of the information is inaudible.

This has been going on since the start of the year so 6 months.

I hope for you something doesn't go…

I hope for you something doesn't go missing or arrive late because asking them a simple question seems too much for them to handle. They will become rude, aggressive and try to block you from being able to buy from them again. Some manners goes a long way. Customer service doesn't seem to be something they are able to provide.

When you leave a bad review they will flag it so you need to provide evidence but they don't do that for unverified positive reviews? Wonder why. Once you're verified they then try and say you have the wrong shop. Very immature company who don't seem to be able to take responsibility for their failings.

Used to be a great service

Used to be a great service. Now they have split the parcel deliveries so you not only need to be in early for the smaller stuff like letters you also need to wait around for parcels which often dont arrive until 7pm. They don't seem to have adapted for the online sales market in regards to quantity of deliveries, they are okay to payout £400 million to share holders though but don't seem to invest at the base level enough
