Above and beyond

The staff at Octopus went out of their way to make a switch for my mother simple and enable me to operate the account online alongside my own. In stark contrast to the previous supplier, their helpful approach and excellent online product made everything easy to operate. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

An unfortunate experience

While the website is very easy to navigate, I have had an issue with a purchase. I bought a rucksack for my son which, unfortunately I had to return for minor issue. I re-ordered the same model and colour scheme, only to be told a few days afterwards that this was not in stock. It would have been helpful to have known this at point of purchase. A great shame as the product looks good.

Thank you for your order and we're so sorry for the disappointment caused here with the item going out of stock shortly after your order. It flew off the shelves and was an instant bestseller! Our new inventory system was still being updated after our warehouse move and unfortunately the stock was not yet relocated from one warehouse to the next, which caused a temporary stock discrepancy - this has now been sorted.

Delivery on time and with a smile

The new dishwasher was delivered on timer and the old one removed swiftly. They could not instal due to a plumbing issue, but an allied firm came the following morning and sorted it out quickly. All very efficient and pleasant to boot.

Increases frightening but necessary

While frightening that the fixed tariff has increased by around 100%, it reflects the market price rises. The cost of hedging has also risen dramatically and I would rather have certainty of cost per month that one subject to the variance in market prices over the year. Which? consistently rate Octopus for their approach and I have no reason to doubt them.

Efficient, friendly service

Very efficient, friendly service as always. Ross and his team have done some significant work on my bikes in the past and, although this was a simple brake repair, this was completed quickly and fully. Great to have this capability close on hand.

Very Responsive and Helpful

I asked Octopus if I could reduce the balance on my account as it seemed a little high. Semir came back very quickly with a good suggestion which he has now put into action. Considering the backdrop of the pandemic and the low level nature of my query, this was a great response and shows the empathetic nature and problem solving ability of the team.

Excellent Service

Excellent service from the team at eSpares. A part I had from them was faulty, so they replaced it overnight at no charge. Simple process to send the old one back. Couldn't ask for better service.
