Octopus Intelligent Go is a scam

I moved from British Gas as i have an EV and a lot of online forums were promoting Octopus Intelligent Go - It's amazing! (they said) you don't have to do anything and you get cheap charging (they proclaimed). However no - it's not the case at all. Firstly, Octopus insist that you turn off all timers and smart charging settings on both car and charger. You then have to grant them 'key' access to your car (already feel uncomfortable about this). However, I did this, to then notice the car was charging immediately during the day. I contacted them for them to casually reassure me it was nothing to worry about. I insisted on asking if this charging would be billed at peak-rate.... 'Er, let me get back to you'. Then, over night with Octopus doing the "rest" of planning my charging, I wake to find the car charged, happy days, however, on inspection, the car started charging well before off-peak, and continued until 7am, well after the off-peak window. To my surprise, their app has confirmed that I am paying full price for the electricity used outside of the off-peak window. "Only a few pence difference" was the email reply i got to my complaint. No, it's not. It's the difference between £3 a day and 70p a day. Over a quarter that equates to £270, rather than £63. Only a week with Octopus and I already have buyers remorse.

Godawful Estate services provider
Not only to they seem to bill months in advance, they also send threatening letters if you don't pay for services they haven't provided. They are a modern day extortion racket, and i am seeking legal advice.

Was skeptical to say the least

Like a lot of others on here I was SUPER skeptical about ordering from a bit of a dodgy looking website. However, that being said, I was ok with my OnePlus 12 being the Chinese release (changing a phones language ain't rocket science), and it arrived exactly when they said it would, for a saving of around £400, in a colour that isn't available in the UK. Honestly have no issues recommending Deal Monday to anyone

Got me out of a right pickle

Got me out of a right pickle
Screw in front tyre, noticed how bad it was when i arrived at work 30 miles away from home. Rang in the morning and they were there at my work car park at 3pm as they said they would. Decent price too, massively more convenient than having to put the spare on and take to a garage.
Hopefully i won't need to use them again but if i'm unfortunate in the future they will be the ones i call

Failed delivery

Failed delivery - was in all day, no one rang the buzzer for the apartment. Got text saying failed delivery BEFORE the card arrived (how does that work). Rearranged to send to work address - all ok, until another text saying that there was a query and needed to contact DX, advised to log on. Logged on, then told need to call. So rang, to be greeted with message saying all operators unavailable and that i would have to email. Still no response - not a clue where the passport is!

Lying And Misleading

They advertise that they "Pay same day as your item is received" this is absolute Bull. What they actually mean is that they receive it, and when they can be bothered to process it, they will pay you - this can be up to a week later. This is completely misleading, the Royal Mail have confirmed that my parcel has been delivered but Musicc Magpie are refusing to accept it has arrived. Terrible customer service. Just keep saying that they don't know where it is.

Honestly now I am out of a mobile phone, no money, and not a clue what to do about it because "Richard" at Music Magpie just keeps saying Computer says no

EDIT: They have received it now all of a sudden - but reduced the offer from £70 to £7.... for a "LCD fault" that they can't give me any details on. The phone is in perfect working order, with no scratches, no dead pixels. When asked for evidence of the fault they would not provide.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

We receive batched deliveries from our courier service and until it is delivered to us, and gotten to (we work in date order through the deliveries). Then we cannot verify it is actually here until reached. We must adhere to the time-scales set by our courier services before we can raise a case with them.

In this case, your items had reached processing at the same time of your query.

As you were not happy with the revision - the device is then returned to you free of charge. Our protocol of revising devices gives you the opportunity to have your say, which ensures that every party is involved with the trade are happy.

It is in our interest to accept devices having already invested in to the trade- By paying for all deliveries and returns, processing the items and any time spent with customer services.
