Such a great team on the shop floor at…

Such a great team on the shop floor at Knightsbridge - Tara and Kevin are always so keen to help and have such good knowledge of the products. Nothing is too much trouble. I’m always made to feel at ease and it’s a pleasure to visit. Selling to DE has become so much more efficient now Hanna has joined the buying department. It’s become a much smoother and swifter process which is a great incentive. Keep up the good work!

Label Source is fast becoming my…

Label Source is fast becoming my favourite go to platform for preloved goods. Their prices are incredibly fair and there are often amazing bargains to be had. Unlike so many other resellers they actually photograph the items accurately and highlight any damage or wear in the photos. Delivery of items is swift and refunds are processed quickly and with no hassle. Customer service are always prompt to reply to any queries. I can’t comment on selling to them as I’ve never done this, but I’ll continue to buy all the while they keep up their great service

First time buying from Dress Cheshire and it was a pleasure. Christine was always available to answer my questions and so helpful. My items arrived beautifully packaged and even better than I expected them to be. Very happy with the whole experience and will definitely purchase here again

Be wary of this company as they clearly…

Be wary of this company as they clearly show no due diligence with their security checks. They allowed a complete stranger to set up an account using our address. We only found out when we received a direct debit form in the post for a foreign name. After spending half an hour trying to get through to their customer services they kept me holding on for another 20 minutes while they tried to sort it out. Eventually I was told I would receive a phone call back. No phone call came so my husband rang again in the evening. Took even longer to get through this time. We have been told they will ‘sort it out’ but have received no confirmation that this has been done, no apology and they were unable to offer an explanation as to how this had been allowed to happen. I don’t even think they care. In a day and age where fraud and scamming is so rife it’s alarming that their security is so slack

Do NOT consign with this Company!…

What a tacky second rate little company this is. When they fail to sell your item you’ll be charged £40 to have it returned. They’ll spout some rubbish at you about the fee covering the cost of cleaning (utter nonsense), storing and photographing your item, but will accept no responsibility for the fact that they were unable to do their job and make a sale. Yes this ‘fee’ is mentioned in the terms and conditions (in tiny text at the bottom of their emails), but the way it’s worded would lead you to believe that after 3 lots of reductions over a period of months, the item will
be returned if still not sold. However this is not the case. Instead they’ll hold your item hostage until you pay £40 to have it back.
Other consignment companies that conduct themselves with some class and dignity, like Xupes and Bagista will return your items free of any fees if they don’t sell, and actually apologise for the inconvenience - an embarrassingly stark contrast to this tin pot organisation.
So save yourself time and aggro and use a professional alternative to Luxe Collective - preferably anywhere that isn’t run by a bunch of silly amateur boys

We cannot apologise enough if the the terms and conditions for our consignment offers were not made clear enough at the time in which our buying team issued your consignment offer. Rest assured it is not our intention.

Upon accepting an offer issued by our team and sending your item to our HQ, this means that as a customer you have accepted the terms and conditions which are outlined in the offer email.

In our terms and conditions it clearly states that "you can request for the item to be returned at any time subject to a £40 processing & delivery fee.".

As a company we will list your item on our website indefinitely until the item does successfully sell, if your item does not sell then you are more than welcome to request a return at any time. In the terms and conditions we do not specify a time line in which we can guarantee your item to sell so we are extremely sorry if this has been different to any other pre-loved consignment services you have used!

However, as mentioned previously we cannot apologise enough if this was not made clear enough to you when receiving your offer email.

The £40 service fee is in place to covers several costs, including: tracked and insured return postage, authenticating your item, cleaning your item, photographing and storing your item plus the initial postage label you receive from our team.

Please accept our sincerest apologies for this and for any inconvenience caused. We understand that this fee can be frustrating, and while we deeply value you as a loyal seller, we are sadly unable to make exceptions or waive this fee for individual sellers. This policy is applied to all sellers to ensure fairness and consistency amongst our services. Again, we really are so sorry about this, however we hope you can understand our reasoning for this decision.

Despite this, we really would like to extend our sincerest apologies for any upset that has been caused to you by this matter and please know that your feedback has been greatly appreciated.

Another great experience selling with Bagista! Tom and Rai were so helpful, keeping me informed every step of the way and once the bag was sold the payment was very quick. I’ve now consigned more bags with them, as the offers are better than anywhere else and it’s a hassle free experience.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Tom…

I had the pleasure of dealing with Tom when selling a bag to Bagista. He was super efficient - speedy replies to my emails and happy to help me achieve what I wanted with my sale. Once I handed the bag over, the authentication was confirmed to me very quickly and payment was made and confirmed the same day. All in all a very smooth transaction. I thoroughly recommend dealing with Tom if you’re considering selling with Bagista

Always an amazing experience at the…

Always an amazing experience at the Knightsbridge store. Great choice of items and friendly chatty staff, especially the lovely Wimu who is always full of enthusiasm and so willing to help. I always make time to visit this store when I’m in London and nearly always come away with some goodies!

Excellent service and a beautiful bag as always. DE has become my go to website for preloved designer goods. Always had excellent reliable service, and on the few occasions I’ve had to return something my refund has been processed within a few hours of them receiving the item back!
I don’t know anywhere else that offers such amazing service. Thank you

Excellent service

Excellent service. A customer told me she’d given me the wrong address after the parcel had been collected and was on it’s way. UPS managed to stop it, redirect it to the correct address, ring me with the updated tracking number and still deliver the next day as planned. This is all thanks to Caroline at the Grays depot. First class 👏

Absolute disgrace

Absolute disgrace. We have a boiler breakdown cover policy with this joke of a company for which we pay £360 a year. When we woke this morning to no heating or hot water we tried to call their 24/7 claims line - which apparently doesn’t operate until 7.30am - what happened to the promised 24/7??? When we finally got through we were told by the operator that we couldn’t have an engineer come out for 6 days!!! 6 days with no heating or hot water In November!! Totally unacceptable, particularly with children in the house. We have had to source our own engineer which has cost us £320 as waiting 6 days just isn’t feasible. The operators answering the phone couldn’t care less, they are rude and abrupt and just told us they’d done everything they could do.
We’ve had an policy with HomeServe for years. I’m sickened by the money we’ve paid to them to then be let down in this way. Maybe they should warn potential policy holders that there’ll likely be a delay of a week if they actually want to utilise their cover. We’ll be cancelling our policy with immediate effect. Total waste of time.

YSL Mini Tassel Bucket Bag

This is my sixth purchase from Designer Exchange and I’m delighted as always. Special thank you to Zaynah of the Knightsbridge branch who offered to send me photos of the bag being worn, and emailed them to me within half an hour. Very helpful.

Poorly Russian Hamster

Bought a Russian hamster for my daughter as an early Christmas gift. Took her home and allowed her 24 hours to settle as instructed. When we took her out of the cage the next day I immediately noticed that she was bald with red raw skin underneath her belly and chin. Took her back to the store where she was seen by a vet, who told us she most probably has mites. They had no treatment in stock and couldn’t get any for 3 days, so I had to drive miles to another store to collect it from there - costing me petrol and having to pay out for the treatment. I have been told that if she ends up needing a skin biopsy I’ll also have to pay for that, as she was bought from their ‘adoption’ scheme which means she comes with no warranty as they don’t know the history of these animals. Utter rubbish in this case, as the hamster was unsold Pets at Home stock and had been at the store for the entire duration.
We were told the hamster had been fully checked over before sale which clearly wasn’t the case. My daughter is upset and disappointed and I now have to treat my other pets for mites. I fear for the other small animals being sold from this store as I would imagine they’re also affected.
Fingers crossed the hamster comes through this and I don’t end up with a sad little girl over Christmas. Well done Pets at Home.
