It was necessary for me to speak to customer service, not because they had done anything wrong. In the famous lines of a couple breaking up - it was all me!! I had meant to order tape in beige wanting to be inconspicuous but managed to order black . Therefore I needed to change the order hoping I could before it was despatched. Please be aware that their motto should be 'get it, pack it, send it'. Ordinarily we would all be thrilled that despatch is almost instant but the black tape was already winging its way to me. Here is where I contacted customer services. Guided through the easy process, the unopened black tape was returned via Freepost to be refunded on receipt and the new order was en route for the next day. Couldn't have been simpler except if I had ordered the right colour in the first place!!

I know to most people, parchment is really not something to get overly excited about but when, whatever you are cooking or baking doesn't stick to it, it can really make your day - sad but true. Lakeland's parchment is great.

My parcel arrived on a Sunday, I was totally unaware that Royal Mail worked on Sundays, so a bonus. The gentleman was polite and efficient.

Although not a vast selection online, it was fairly easy to choose, having browsed the shop when we were in Ambleside. This is a present and I know it will be very well received. Ordering was straightforward and the parcel was well wrapped and protected. Delivery was fairly prompt. Would definitely order again but would probably order more!!

Sadly we lost our shop so was thrilled to be able to order online. Really pleased to be able to purchase what I would have bought in store and at the same price. Since it was 25kilos of bird seed delivery was so much better than paying an osteopath for a bad back!! Good delivery time, well packed and will definitely order again. The birds are grateful too.

The BHF have a brilliant selection of gifts but especially cards. The quality is excellent as is the price and they arrived extremely promptly. A very worthwhile Charity and very easy to make a donation at the same time although that is a personal choice and not dependent on ordering.

Easy to order and fairly quick delivery too. I can't wear wool next to my skin, unless anyone wants to watch me display an adaptation of St. Vitus Dance, which really isn't funny or attractive!! However, the jumpers I have ordered are acrylic, soft and very comfortable. I had previously come away from Cotton Traders but as they are now selling some clothes in a size 8 have been pleased to return. Although I can be a size 10 in other stores, Cotton Traders clothing does tend to be on the bigger side and size 8 is perfect. At nearly 5feet 2inches and slim (but not after Christmas lunch) size 8 is perfect. The sleeve length is good and not feeling as if they have shrunk in the wash and so neither long nor three quarters and the body length is good too and doesn't look as if it was handed down from my aunt Mable. A modern take on a tried and tested style. Hope they wash and wear as good as they look.

I would have liked to have given Cake Stuff five stars having ordered on the 27th September. On the 28th I received an email saying that I had made their day and I had made an excellent purchase. On the 6th October they thanked me for my order and then advised me that the item I wanted was out of stock. No one will be surprised to learn that that didn't make my day and obviously it wasn't such an excellent purchase. I know the item I ordered was tiny but it took 8 days for the Packaging Department to realise they had, as I was told, 'stock issues' - you think? So one star it is then.

The delivery was well within the time slot. A very pleasant Courier and efficient.

A brilliant company with an inordinate amount of cards to peruse whatever the occasion. My only problem, which isn't really a problem, is that I have to take sandwiches and a drink to the computer as I'm there for so long! However, should I not have time to check out, the very kind people at Thortful send me an email letting me know that they have saved the cards in my basket until I can get back to the computer. It really is a very civilised way to shop for cards.

Very good selection of clothing and not just for the young and fashionable. Good quality at comparable prices. On this occasion I was shopping for a 13 year old and was very successful.

I ordered a battery operated pruner that for a limited time came with a free extra battery. Unfortunately the extra battery wasn't included in the delivery. After a phone call, the mistake was an oversight and quickly and easily remedied and the extra battery was sent immediately. We all make mistakes so not complaining at all. The pruner, having read the instructions is easy to use and makes light work of even the slightly thicker branches. Not a chain saw but more of a baby one.

The BHF has an excellent selection of cards for people wanting to support a very worthwhile charity, for whatever reason, as well as send a greetings card. A good easy to access website. The cards are very good quality at an exceptionally reasonable price and delivery is very prompt.

I've put good all round because navigating the website was a breeze, the quality of the item was very good, the price was excellent and delivery was prompt. Doesn't get too much better than that - thank you.

This is the second time I have ordered from this company. It has a very comprehensive website with products to meet all needs. I have been exceptionally pleased with my purchases, a thumb brace and a wrist brace. This was the first time I had used funkypigeon.com and was impressed with the selection of cards to personalise. The process was fairly straightforward. I would have liked to have typed a longer message, space was limited but this might have been due to the card I selected. There is also the opportunity to review and edit your text before completion. Payment was straightforward. Dispatch was prompt with updated emails.
