Cancellation charge of nearly £100

Cancellation charge of nearly £100, when I sold my car. This is an appalling hidden charge, making the seemingly low premium much higher. Beware hidden charges and admin fees. I look forward to the time they are made illegal.

The actual item is fine

The actual item is fine - I bought a little DAB radio, and it is exactly what I needed. I am convalescing after an operation and have to spend my days lying down, which is very boring - hence a radio to listen to next to my bed - couldn't be simpler. I paid extra for next day delivery. However, the delivery firm (DPD) couldn't be bothered to deliver the item to my house. They sent me a message saying they had called but no one was in. This was totally untrue. I was in. My German Shepherd was in the hall, and I have trawled back through our security camera footage but no one called! Instead, he delivered the radio to the local "Shop" (the Co-op) up the road. Because of my condition I could not walk to the Co-op! I had to beg a neighbour, organise ID for the neighbour etc. etc. It was very annoying and I felt aggrieved with DPD particularly, but also with Currys for not caring.

This product does what it says and…

This product does what it says and supports a vaginal prolapse. I wish I had known months ago about such products. I wash the item in hot water and leave it to dry overnight and then re-apply it each morning. I don't know how many times I can do this as, unfortunately, the product does not come with any practical information. Nevertheless, it has made a vast improvement to the quality of my life.

Not as long-lasting as I would like

The actual Vax Blade and Pet Machine is really good and the battery operation is fine. However, this is my second Vax machine as, in some places, they are not built robustly enough for the job and therefore do not last very long.

Today I received ten raspberry canes…

Today I received ten raspberry canes and three blackcurrant bushes - all looking really healthy. They were extremely well packaged, and arrived quickly, damp (as bareroot trees should be!) and undamaged. The delivery was excellent - quick and informative, with options in case I wasn't in, but my real joy was in receiving well-cared-for fruit bushes, from a professional grower in the UK. Thank you James McIntyre.

The role of Premium Credit in the…

The role of Premium Credit in the payment of Insurance by monthly instalments is clearly described, but I did not know who this company was when they first emailed me. More information from the insurance company at the time of agreeing the insurance would be useful.
I was bombarded with emails from Premium Credit, some of which gave conflicting information to others. For example, "Please sign your credit agreement" 24 hours after signing the credit agreement. Reliance on automatic emails is shoddy - hence 3 stars.

John was just the best and friendliest!

John was friendly (as always) and knows so many of his customers. I went into the bank to pay in, but also to see if they could help me recover a payment made to sn internet shopping company. The Co-op may not pay the highest rates of interest, but when it comes to security and financial disputes, they are brilliant. They listened carefully and resolved my issue there and then. It is so much more efficient to be able to deal with intelligent,well-mannered people rather than AI!

I wanted a light-weight kettle which was also stable and easy to use. The kettle I bought is excellent - exactly what I wanted. The lead from kettle to socket is a metre long - the longest I could find online and it just reaches the socket.

There was nothing wrong with the…

There was nothing wrong with the product (a duvet cover) and I was very pleased to be able to buy a cover without the obligatory matching pillowslips, so that was the good news. I am less happy with the colour. I'm sure it looked different on the website, and it was described as sage green, but it is just an ordinary light green. However, it doesn't actually clash with the bedroom dècor so I will make do with it for now.

An excellent company for narrowboat solar power.

This company did a full assessment of my narrowboat power needs and problems. Once they had a complete picture, they advised me what needed to be done, undertook all the work to a very high standard, and kept me informed every step of the way. They fitted me in at their earliest opportunity and, after a couple of days, I returned to the boat to find everything completed professionally. They moved the existing solar panels to a more sensible location on the roof; they installed a new solar controller inside the boat, re-wired everything safely and neatly, and even undertook the installation of the management app on my phone. They also repaired my alternator belt. I am impressed by this firm and recommend Onboard Energy for the installation or improvement of narrowboat solar power.

I ordered a water carrier

I ordered a water carrier, and received the message to say it was in. I walked a mile and a half to the store, only to be presented with a deck-chair. I asked if could re-order but no. They didn't have water carriers available. I accept that misyakes happen. We are only human, but effective links between actual stock levels and the internet catalogue could be improved, along with checking the orders BEFORE messaging the customer.

This family firm deliver my dog food…

This family firm deliver my dog food promptly. The food weighs a lot but I do not have to struggle back from the shop with it, thanks to David, the delivery man. They keep a huge range of pet supplies and are always friendly, efficient and polite. Thank you Coombs.
