Lack of technical support! SORTED
Happy to say that, after a very successful visit from the lovely, helpful, knowledgeable Sharon, our issue was resolved and the video doorbell is working like new again. Thank you Sharon! Excellent service engineer.
Video doorbell disconnected from wifi before Christmas for no good reason. Tried following instructions to reset, didn't work. Rang nice guy in Tech Support who got us to go through the same procedure, still didn't work. Advised us to ring back and request a technical callout.
Did that after Christmas, figured they needed a break too, Customer Service couldn't find me in the system for some time, then got me to go through same routine, same result! Couldn't find a slot in the system for technician to call out so advised that supervisor would ring me back with time. They didn't!
Frustration mounting, I rang back earlier this week (one week after last call), went through the same comedy routine (except it's not funny!), to be told there are no slots available. Now, it's not that there are no slots available this week or even next week. No! It's literally that there are no slots available at all and I could get no indication as to when there might be. Incredible!! I'm about to break my contract with them now, and they can go hang if they think I'm going to pay an early exit penalty when I'm getting such unreasonable and unacceptable support. I'm VERY SURE (get it?) that I won't be recommending them to anyone!
