Great customer service

I've worn the Power Leggings at the gym for years and the quality is generally excellent, they wash and wear weekly with no issues, they last really well. My most recent pair unravelled on the bum seam the first time I wore them, but SB's chat customer service was excellent. Quickly resolved with a replacement pair.

Took a long time to arrive

Took a long time to arrive. The photos on the website are a bit misleading. They make everything look a lot better than it is in reality.

Delivery options too limited and £££

Love fatface products but dislike the lack of delivery options and fact it's more expensive than other brands.

Edit following response from FF: That's exactly the issue. If you can't collect from store there is only an expensive option for next day or named day delivery. There is no cheaper option for a 3-5 day delivery, which is standard for pretty much all other brands.

Dreadful service

Experienced the most appalling service from Boots Opticians in Hemel Hempstead. The individuals I've interacted with have been really nice, it's the utterly dreadful service around that.

Every single appointment I've been kept waiting for 30-40 mins despite them being mid-week and the store being empty.

At my first appointment with the contact lens specialist, the lenses I tried on the day didn't work for me so she said she'd order me a different pair to take away on a 2 week trial. I waited weeks, turned out she never ordered them and made no notes on my file.

When I called, the lady I spoke to tried to tell me I had to come in for yet another appointment with another optician so they could decide what to order for me. I refused and they did get an optician to review my prescription and order a suitable pair of mono lenses for me to trial which they assured me were correct for me.

I had my lens 'teach' appointment when I went to collect these new lenses, but was sent away with only half the number of left eye lenses I needed for 2 week trial and had to drag all the way back in store a few days later to collect more.

I struggled to read with the mono prescription trial they gave me - and was puzzled that for my 'reading' lens they gave me a 'reading add' far lower than my actual prescription. When I went in for my end of trial appointment and asked about this they agreed it was too low, tested a higher 'read add' - and lo and behold, I could see properly. Obviously I needed to try this in lens form to see if it actually worked - even just for a few days - so was furious to be told that I couldn't have another trial because you can only have one free trial per customer. I was forced to pay £49 for a box of 30 lenses to trial this new prescription. Utterly ridiculous as who knows if they will work for me.

Two weeks after ordering, the lenses had still not arrived and I'd not had a single text or email about the order. I called and was told they had been dispatched and would arrive soon, and that they have no visibility into the loyalty scheme or the activity of the warehouse and that sometimes if they are busy things take longer to deliver. Just what you want to hear when you are considering taking out their direct debit for lenses!

Frankly, I would never trust my lens direct debit with this disorganised company. And they work our far more expensive despite the marketing guff about what's included. Once I get my prescription right, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

My order arrived fine. I assumed the box it arrived in was packed with polystyrene - but after reviewing that here I received a call to advise it's biodegradable loose fill - which is fantastic. Would definitely order from this company again :)

Sofa covers are great

Read the reviews after I ordered and had very low expectations. Very pleasantly surprised though. My chenille sofa covers took just over 2 weeks to arrive from China and they're exactly as shown on the website. They seem to be good quality. Bought them to replace existing covers that were driving me mad constantly having to straighten when we sat on them or the dog jumped on them. These seem to stay put well though. Spilled some coffee and it came off fine. Very happy with them and would order more.

Great customer service

I was a bit worried about placing an order after seeing the 1* reviews but this was the only place with final stock of the discontinued boots I wanted. My experience was fantastic. They arrived within a couple of days but there was damage to the leather on the toe of one boot. I got through to customer services easily, they were lovely, just asked me to email a photo so they could confirm the damage. I sent it straight away, got a reply straight back with a free post label for the return. I ordered a replacement which also arrived in a couple of days.

Fantastic service, quality products

Polina at the Amersham store was fantastic. She was patient and knowledgeable, guiding me through all of the different mattress options. She understood exactly what it's like living with back pain and helped me to choose a mattress and pillow that worked for me, giving me time and space to make a decision. I got a call from the delivery company 2 days later and my mattress was delivered the next day, lovely quick, friendly service.

I've never been so happy to see the back of my memory foam box mattress. It may be a market leader with top scores from Which, but it was a poor choice. The Back In Action mattress is incomparable and is worth the investment. Between that and my brilliant new FOAMO pillow I had the first pain free night's sleep in a long time. It's astonishing how a poor quality mattress can be responsible for neck, shoulder, back and hip pain to the extent you spend half the night awake uncomfortable and dread going to bed.

Massive thanks to Polina for her brilliant customer service, she's a star!
