Excellent service

I needed a new chair for my home office and the previous one was a little too big following upgrade to the office. This one seemed ideal. There was a lot of choice on the website but the information was well laid out allowing me to determine the best product for my needs.
It was delivered quickly (within timescales stated) and the pictorial instructions were extremely easy to follow - so easy that I thought I must be doing something wrong!
I've had it for a while now and its proving a very worthwhile investment. It's a good product delivered by a very capable provider

Perhaps a small issue?

We received the new rooflight within the scheduled delivery time OK. Fast service

It came in a huge brown cardboard box - inside was the rooflight itself unboxed with no transit packing or fitting instructions. Finding the manufacturer's instructions on the Internet it turns out there are two different depth sizes of this particular model of rooflight, depending on the thickness of the caravan roof. There is no reference to this when purchasing or any option to choose which one you are getting. This appears to be a common issue across the industry. We've got the wrong one but as it fits the hole in the roof I have "customised" it and it appears to work OK - time will tell.

Yes it was the model, but more should be done to make customers aware of variations within a model and for a brand new item I would expect to see it in the manufacturer's box with fitting instructions (as on the shelf in the local caravan service centre). Mind you who would keep the box anyway...

This supplier is now aware of the issue and is actively looking at what can be done - that gets my vote every time. Well done to them for following through.

Superb service

First time I've used the service and wasn't sure about the hype. However I submitted the details for the online quote and went ahead with the deal. I was contacted in advance by the local centre to confirm I was happy to go ahead and still take the car in. I arrived at the due time and was met by a friendly, helpful lady. We went through the procedures and paperwork and hey presto the deal was done - with a bonus that having seen the car they would pay me more than the online quote. I hadn't even got out of the car park before the online confirmation from DVLA my car had been purchased by the dealer and it was no longer mine. That is efficient and superb service!

Quality Experience

Everything about this purchase was great. We were left to browse in the shop without being hassled by the sales staff. Once we had narrowed down the choices the sales rep was able to give us more information about the differences in the narrowed down list. After ordering the furniture we were kept informed of the progress of the order and delivery was on the day and in the time slot scheduled. The delivery men were friendly and helpful and the furniture was delivered to the required room, as in the sales blurb. We've now ordered some more from the same style range.

Quick response

RAM upgrade arrived next day as promised and was fully functional (pity my laptop wasn't - despite being advertised as taking the upgrade the BIOS wouldn't permit it and there was no upgrade available!)

Excellent service as always

Delivery and installation took place as agreed at the due time and date (a Sunday!). The staff knew exactly what to do and the whole process was handled very efficiently - mind you that is what we have come to expect from Gillman's based on previous experiences.

Excellent service, also economic

Technician arrived within 5 minutes of the start of the notified time slot (which was notified at 0800 as promised in the booking). Took a couple of photos of the phone in "as is" condition then said about 40 minutes to do the repair and disappeared into his van to do the job. Came back in about 45 minutes, switched on the phone to check with me that it was all working OK and then he was away, no problem. Technician was also very friendly. Can't ask for more than that. Excellent. Cost? Same as the excess would have been from the insurance company - but it didn't have to be sent away for a week for repair.

A change to find staff giving an honest opinion.

A change to find staff giving an honest opinion of what product is best fro you based on your need and not pointing you at the most expensive in the store. They actually advised a cheaper product as more than adequate for what we wanted. Her knowledge of all the products was extensive and freely given. We were free to roam as we wished but she was always available to advise. Knowing which products came from which manufacturer was also helpful as it allowed coordination across the product lines. I would definitely recommend the Gloucester Peel Centre store again.

I have always used No1 for my currency. My latest trip last month saw them honour the on-line booking rate despite the drop in the exchange rate in the shop when I went to pick it up. The currency was ready well within their published aims, as usual.

Excellent product and service

I wondered how much was sales hype and how much was true - it was all true.

I can't fault the Air RAM - it really is light and easy to handle, yet powerful in collecting dirt.

The G-RAM multi is a little on the heavy side for a hand-held and has one drawback - you need to keep steady pressure on the trigger otherwise it switches off. A locking device to keep it powered would have been useful but overall you can't complain, it's still a great product.
