The rudest delivery driver ever…

Our delivery of shower panels from Victorian Plumbing was dropped off the van by the driver, picked up and propped up against the van, bending the panels. The rude driver ignored and don't answer my wife when she spoke to him and also ignored the plumber who tried to talk to him also. He then drove off leaving a trail of polystyrene pieces across our driveway. If I ever have a choice, I would never use XDP again.

A good way to sell your car with reservations if you need to talk to someone

A good way to sell your car, however, the South African call centre was unfriendly, unhelpful and really couldn't care less.

We want to emphasise how important it is to us that our agents maintain a high standard of professionalism and courtesy in every interaction. It's essential that all sellers are treated with respect, and that our Support Teams are genuinely committed to understanding and resolving any concerns that may arise.

From listening to your calls with our Support Teams, we can see that you spoke to the teams once you completed your profile and when you were having difficulties and queries surrounding your documents.

Although we have found that the agents who spoke to you were polite at all times during the call, we can see that you received a request for a letter of authority when you had already advised a previous agent that the keeper of the vehicle would be with you on the day of collection. Unfortunately, as the agent had advised on your call with the Support Team on March 22nd, a previous agent that you spoke with did not note this, in error. While we are glad to see that the error was corrected and you were advised that the letter would not be required, we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and rest assured, we have fed this back to the agent’s Team Leader for further investigation, and additional training will be provided to ensure our high standards of service are upheld at all times moving forward.

Whilst it is regrettable that your experience was not more in line with our usual high standards of customer satisfaction, we are pleased that you were ultimately able to sell your vehicle, and we wish you all the best going forward.

Shockingly expensive quote compared to Pickfords and Bishops. Also - DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY ON THE FOLLOWING NUMBER 0845 6006661 - it cost me £6.55 for six mins for the privilege of asking them for a quote.

Do not buy from this company unless you…

Do not buy from this company unless you are 100% sure that you will not have to return your item. Absolutely shocking customer service. I bought some Ariat boots on the 26th April, they didn't fit when they arrived so had to return them. I followed the process on their web site and the boots were signed for by them on the 5th May. Despite several attempts to contact them and ask for an update on my refund, as of today, 6th June I still have no refund.

DO NOT USE THEM ...Terrible customer experience

UPDATE. I can't leave that reply. So, for the last time ... You were the rudest person I have ever spoken to as a customer, yes I swore, I do not deny that, but only out of total frustration of being repeatedly called a liar by you, you called your customer a liar! Said I hadn't spoken to anyone at your offices, said that you hadn't signed for my returned hardware despite me sending you the signed Royal Mail receipt. I sent you copies of several days of my call logs to your office to show that I called and had lengthy conversations with your staff. You were just rude and obnoxious and have zero customer relations skills. Oh, and I have since learned that you are vastly over charging for your equipment and services compared to other, better, suppliers.
I did indeed eventually receive a refund of the extra payment taken. Lauran was lovely and dealt with my issue promptly. However, I will never excuse the rude and quite frankly, borderline abusive, manner in which I was spoken to by the director, Ashley. He basically called me a liar. Terrible experience with them. The director, 'Ash' was rude and exceedingly unhelpful after charging me an additional month at £60. They denied ever speaking to me and agreeing to cancel my contract and insisting that I din't give notice to them in writing. Terrible customer service. They also denied signing for the equipment I returned, even though I had a copy of the signed receipt from Royal Mail. Not interested in customer service, they just want your money. DO NOT USE THEM. Use National Broadband instead, they are half the price for the exact same service.

I can confirm the above has been dealt with and you have received your refund of the last payment that was disputed. We pride ourselves on our customer service and I am sorry you have felt you have not received it on this occasion but I am glad we have finally got this resolved for you. I apologise if you have felt that my customer service skills are not adequate but advising you that you need to give your 1 months notice to end your contract in the way of email or letter as per your contract and then swearing at me because you didn't want to do that I'm afraid from a business point of you it is unacceptable behaviour and we will not tolerate such behaviour. I wish you all the luck for the future.

Got the job done, but not the greatest experience

Good web site, very easy to use and get a quote. However, on speaking to my removal guys I found out that they only got the job a few days before hand, even though I had booked a few weeks in advance. They were also told that they only needed three Luton vans to move our furniture. Luckily they turned up in an 18t lorry and had a large Sprinter van as we only just got all of our possessions into the vehicles. The guys that moved us were fantastic, but really would hesitate to use AnyVan again without TRIPLE checking what they were booking for us.

Poor ordering process - Reply to you

All the way through the order process, pay, then you get an email, sorry, we're out of stock of that. It'll be another week or so ... in the meantime, I'll have run out or lenses!!! Thanks for letting me know up front before I placed the order. I could have bought an alternative

What you have stated is incorrect, when I rang to chase my order you ONLY THEN informed me that it was out of stock and not now due until the 8th of August, which is why I had no choice but to opt for an alternative.

Thanks for your review.

I can see that you placed your order on the 26th July and that an expected delivery date of the 2nd August was given at that time. This is due to the sheer volume of lenses that are available in varying parameters and on this occasion your lenses did need to be ordered direct from the supplier.

On the 31st July you contacted us to chase your delivery, at that time the information we had was correct and we informed you that delivery should still take place on the 2nd August. We did also advise that should we receive any updates you would be informed on the 1st August which you were.

You called us after this and we discussed alternatives and I can see that a new order was placed and your previous order cancelled.
I will be in contact shortly to discuss in more detail.

Damaged, incomplete and I'll fitting furniture

Ordered sofas which duly arrived on time, however, both items were stained badly and had three of the wooden feet missing and replaced with black plastic feet. Our large seat cushion did not fit as it was too big and overhung the sofa by 5-10 cmd. They immediately offered to send someone out to clean it as if this was a regular occurrence. I insisted on having both sofas replaced and am now awaiting a delivery date. Not the best experience and would think twice before ordering from DFS again.
