Actual delivery was ahead of schedule. Perhaps the only criticism is that the App couldn’t keep up with the event!! I’m a happy customer though.

Poor service

First of all, there were no issues with the products which I was collecting from an online purchase. The store was not exceptionally busy but the till area appeared understaffed and there was no-one managing the click and collect point. The cashier adjacent to the terminal did not interact with me until I had been stood there for 5 minutes. Eventually as a member of staff walked past, she engaged me and seemed surprised when I responded that I wasn’t being served. To her credit, she apologised and and collected my order from out the back,
Matalan, you need to up your game.

Competitive Rates

The overriding attraction is the interest rates that are offered by Shawbrook. The transfer of funds was easy and seamless.
Marked down to 4 stars because they don’t have an App which is frustrating and needs to be sorted. This coming from an older gentleman!!

Great experience

I always have concerns when buying products on line and delivery being made by courier companies for fear of potential damage. In this instance I should have had no worries. Ordering was straight forward, dispatch was as close to immediate as you can get and the product arrived in perfect condition (thank you DPD).

Not great

This was the first time I’ve had what I consider to be a negative experience. Went to click and collect counter but there were no staff on the counter. Saw a member of staff way down the shelving area clearly doing some kind of inventory work. She saw me but made no effort to interact. Eventually I called out to her and she then said she won’t be long. There were no other customers in the store and a short while after, a gentleman turned up and served me.
Not the best experience and in fairness not typical of Toolstation.

Pleasantly surprised

It was with some trepidation that I decided to purchase varifocal sunglasses online as my opticians were so expensive but if you don't try, you don't know!! Went for cheap frames but slightly more expensive lenses so there would be little or no distortion. Had to supply recent prescription and pupil measurement using an approved app that was free. Glasses turned up within 2 weeks and are absolutely perfect. Not sure now what I was worried about!!

Parcel was sent to the wrong…

Parcel was sent to the wrong distribution centre. I would have expected that centre to automatically forward it to the correct one but no, it just stays there with no action taken until I raise the issue. Customer service said they weren’t authorised to ring the centre which could have sorted the issue in minutes. Yodel, if you need an Operations Manager, give me a call but only if you’re authorised.

Product ordered, still waiting for it. Don't have these issues with Amazon. They need to up their game to retain their customer base or indeed grow their customer base. Unlikely I'll shop with them again.

I can now confirm that the order has been received but this does not negate the aforementioned criticism.

Not the best

Order placed 6th May. Nothing received yet. No communication or apology from Easylife. Good job I wasn't in a hurry. Wife placed an order on 26th April. Still not fulfilled. No communication. Very poor in every way. Definitely not to be recommended.
