The Anjouan gaming license does not cover players from Australia, Austria, Comoros, France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, United Kingdom, and the USA.

And yet they allow players from the US and UK to access the site, make accounts, and even select their native currency. It's illegal to play at this site from the UK and illegal to perform unlicensed offshore casino banking transactions most US states.

As of today, they haven't even filled out their restricted countries list in their T&Cs. It just says 'Prohibited territories' as a placeholder, they didn't realize they have to list them there. I've archived the evidence of this in case they try to bait and switch.

Brexit was five years ago. Displate, despite having all this time, STILL hasn't coped with the shipping changes. They ship to England. They ship to Ireland. But they can't seem to figure out how to ship to Northern Ireland, despite just about every major company having figured it out.

So if you want Displate products in NI, you need to get it elsewhere and have someone bring your art to you. Whether you use friends, forwarding services, or personal contacts, it costs more time and/or money than if Displate sorted their crap out and figured out NI shipping.

Clearly, we get shipments to Northern Ireland all the time. Clearly, THOUSANDS of other companies have figured out a solution. This isn't some kind of unsolvable issue. Either you don't want to deal with it, or you don't care. It's that simple.

After being invited to use their new GrabTap service, I followed all of the instructions to set the game up. No firewalls, no VPN, game had all of the permissions it asked for. Played the game the requisite 2 hours that they say it can take to establish a connection. It never connected.

I've reached out to StreamElements and GrabTap to see if they would like to comment on this apparent scamming activity. But unless they reverse this policy immediately, there's nothing to stop them from ripping off every user and claiming 'technical issues'.

For finding clients, providing payment escrow services, and trying out new gigs, Fiverr is the best platform out there. I've sourced hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of work through them, and I'm rarely disappointed.

However, they have a couple of annoying habits that impact freelancer productivity. They LOVE to push the latest buzzword, even when industry experts explain that there are various legal and practical problems with it. This results in upset clients and inquiries with wildly unrealistic expectations.

Similarly, they push strange features that are clearly incomplete. What's the point in allowing 'customer briefs' alerts for certain budgets, if you don't require those customers to define the amount of work involved? No, I'm not interested in a $1,000 budget project if the scope is 'write an entire 80,000 word novel'.

But even with these annoyances, there's currently nothing better than Fiverr out there for most freelance fields.

We didn't expect our mattress to be delivered until the end of the month. But ArrowXL texted us to say they had a slot in our area open much earlier, and allowed us to choose our delivery date based on the new availability.

This is the second product that we had delivered to the new address. First was a stove, and this time a dishwasher.

Each time the delivery folks were on time, and made either a courtesy call or text from 10 or 15 minutes out.

If these questions are answered, I and other players will have much more confidence on your site. If they are not, there will always be suspicion.

The service is fine, exactly what they publish on the tin.

But if you have questions for support, sometimes the live reps are hit or miss.

You'll go from having someone who understands English perfectly and can answer simple questions immediately, to getting some folks who don't seem to understand the correct terminology and instead of giving you straight answers they try to upsell you on crap you don't need.

And yet any attempt to make a call prompts you to pick a paid plan or up your balance. If they ever had free calls, they seem to be gone now. Whether this is a temporary issue or permanent, it's extremely suspect.

I called the venue and E-mailed They Might Be Giants support and asked if there were alternatives to using Ticketmaster for their Belfast show, both said they'd put their heads together.
