The driver,"Gagandeep" failed to…

The driver,"Gagandeep" failed to deliver my packages. He delivered to the wrong address over half a mile away.
When I went to the DPD website to register a complaint, I found I was unable to contact anyone at all. All I got was a useless automated AI that didn't allow me to contact anyone at DPD. DPD stands for "dodgy parcel deliveries". They certainly lived up to their name today. Underwhelming as always...

Update: 13 days after I submitted the earlier report, it seems that DPD are still looking into my complaint, despite giving them all the information they needed... still failing as usual...

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

Do not order anything from this company. They have a co.uk website, but anything you order is supplied from China and takes weeks to arrive. They do not hold stock in the UK.

After waiting weeks for the shipment, they sent my part to the wrong address despite the order confirmation clearly stating that the billing address and delivery address were the same.

They are refusing to send me another part or give me a refund, so I have been ripped off.

Be aware this company is a SCAM and provides appalling customer service. If I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

After ordering a product online on…

After ordering a product online on 16/122023, I awaited it's delivery arranged for the next day. It didn't arrive, so I was forced to rearrange delivery for 17/12/2023. The product didn't arrive. I finally got through to a human on 17/12/2023. I was told that the delivery would go ahead on 18/12/2023 between 18:00 and 22:00. The item did not arrive. On 19/12/2023 I rang to find out what went wrong this time. I was told the only option was for the order to be cancelled! What a truly pathetic service. Incompetent staff and a very poor attitude towards customers. A very disappointing and frustrating experience. I have cancelled my online account and will not be using Sainsbury's, Habitat or Argos ever again. I urge prospective customers to think carefully before signing up to an online account with Sainsbury's plc or any of it's subsidiaries. Avoid at all costs.

Had a delivery arranged for 16/12/2023

Had a delivery arranged for 16/12/2023. The product was not delivered and no explanation or attempt to contact me. When I rang the so-called customer services helpline I was forced to use the automated system to re-book a delivery. I wanted an explanation as to why the delivery was not made, not an AI bot telling me to re-book! What a shambles. Won't be ordering anything from Argos in future. I will spend my money elsewhere...

I visited the Basingstoke branch and was very impressed by the friendly atmosphere. Slater's have very knowledgeable and professional staff. Obviously, they train their staff and store management to a very high level. I thoroughly recommend them as I always have an excellent shopping experience.

I visited the Basingstoke Branch and bought a pair of jeans. I was asked if I wanted a bag and that I would be charged for it. When I challenged this by stating that I didn't think it was fair to charge customers to advertise Next products, I was told that I should have brought my own. In future, I will shop elsewhere, as Next clearly don't value repeat customers like me anymore....

Hi on behalf of Next, I'm truly sorry to hear about your experience. We fully appreciate you bringing this to our attention. I understand this is not the level of service you would expect from our customer service team in store. In regards to the bag charges this is a government legislation sorry. All retailers of all sizes must charge for single-use carrier bags.
you can avoid being charged by bringing your own bags. In some shops, you can buy thicker, reusable ‘bags for life’.

Worst company ever

Worst company ever. If I could give zero stars I would. Yet again we are having problems with our heating and hot water biomass system. This has been ongoing for nearly 12 years. The contractor K&T heating are incompetent and their level of service is appalling. Al this reported to MTVH on multiple occasions but nothing is being done to resolve our issues. A 47 year old stroke victim has been left without heating or hot water for 4 weeks. What an absolute shambles!

Couldn't locate my address!

Having waited in all day, I was expecting my parcel to arrive between 16:33 and 17:33 as stated by DPD.
At approximately 17:28, I received a msg from DPD stating they couldn't locate my address and that they had attempted to deliver it at 18:11 nearly an hour into the future. I wasn't aware that DPD delivery drivers had mastered time travel....What a shambles!!!

Driver too lazy to deliver my parcel

I waited in all day for a parcel. I signed up to the email service which is supposed to keep you informed of progress. The parcel didn't arrive as the delivery agent didn't bother to either toenter my apartment complex via the trades button and knock on my door or page me via the door entry system. He just pulled up into the car park, printed off a label and then stuffed a "sorry we missed you" card through my letter box. When I contacted the depot, I was told that he couldn't contact me. Well that's because he didn't bother to trying either the "trades" button or the door entry system to deliver my parcel!
When I emailed the company to obtain a refund, I was told via a voice message that I would have to contact the consigner and get him to raise this with Fedex. What a shambolic way to conduct business and what appalling customer service. Avoid ordering anything from suppliers that use Fedex!
If were possible to give this company zero's, I would.

This company is a shambles customer service is laughable.

This company is a shambles. The complaints procedure is a joke and obviously geared in such a way as to ensure that customers complaints are never vindicated. I have had a complaints procedure delayed for months due to incompetence. It is impossible to contact anyone from the management team as they refuse to give out managers names or email addresses or accept responsibility for their dreadful service. There isn't anyway to contact a general enquiries line and we are forced to ring the fault line and kept in an endless queue only to be told that the fault line staff are forbidden to give out key staff contact details. As for Customer Services, they not interested in improving they way customers are dealt with whatsoever and it is impossible to communicate with anyone in that directorate. Directors have zero commitment or engagement with customers, they don't even attempt to gauge customer satisfaction and act on the results, but they happy to take a huge salaries for zero achievements. Why aren't these people paid on results? The whole board should be ashamed of themselves for the pathetic way they run this business and removed!

Supply difficulties mitigated by excellent service.

Having placed an order for products from Chards, I was informed that there were supply difficulties due to post Brexit changes in arrangements with the EU. Due to this, Chards immediately offered an alternative product or a full refund. I decided to wait. Throughout this process, Chards kept me fully informed of progress via regular updates. What a superb service!

Appalling Customer Service

If I could give zero stars, I would!
I have been a resident since 2012. We have had endless problems, many of which have not been resolved in nearly nine years. Our communal heating and hot water system breaks down several times a year. We have unresolved problems with unauthorised parking, so much so that residents have given up reporting them because nothing ever gets done. Residents bins are left out so we have had many infestations of rats and other vermin. I had to wait for a month before the rat infestation under my flat was dealt with. In the summer, because of bins being overfilled and left out, we are plagued with flies, so we have to keep our windows closed. 11 days ago we had a blocked drain and raw sewage poured out into the car park and pooled by the front door. After multiple calls by residents, the raw sewage hasn't been cleaned up, despite it being an obvious health risk to the residents. Our complaints are ignored and our housing manager rarely responds to our calls. This company is an absolute shambles and since the merger, the customer service has gone from poor to pathetic. They clearly have no idea about decent service provision and moreover, they just don't care. I am sick and tired of the endless excuses and broken promises. Perhaps if they implemented proper management standards such as ISO:9000, they would be able to audit their procedures, find out where things go wrong and improve the woeful and feeble customer service. I don't see that happening anytime soon. Avoid this company at all costs. A one star rating is too generous!

Fleet Store Pharmacy - rude and arrogant with awful customer service.

DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY THEY ARE RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL

I was asked for my ID three times. On the third time of asking, I stated politely to the pharmacist that I had shown my ID two times previously, she explained that she had to see it before she could issue the medications as one of them is a CD. Whilst she was doing this, an immature, arrogant and contemptuous male rudely interrupted our conversation. He clearly knows nothing about customer service.
Do not use this Pharmacy. They are rude and aggressive with their customers and clearly know nothing about decent customer service. I was warned about this beforehand by others, but as this is my nearest, I thought I'd give it a try. However, I wish I hadn't bothered as the warnings were spot on.

I am now changing my nominated pharmacist to one that truly appreciates their customers.

Rang in to report a dog in distress

Rang in to report a dog in distress. Has been howling all day and everyday for the last few weeks. I finally tracked down it's address and reported this.
I was given the usual "generic" reply that unless I could provide evidence, it should be treated as a nuisance issue and reported to the local council.

I have decided to withdraw all monetary support for this organisation from now on. What a shambles!
Just got a reply from RSPCA. They haven't acknowledged the problem at all. Just so that there is no confusion..... THE DOG WAS HOWLING, NOT BARKING AND OBVIOUSLY IN DISTRESS!

Reply from RSPCA (England and Wales)

Hi Joe,

I'm so sorry that you feel disappointed in us and that we were unable to help this dog.

As frustrating as it is, we can only act within the law at all times - we’re only able to remove an animal with the say so of the police and a vet. Even if conditions are less than ideal there isn’t always a law being broken so whilst you might expect we’d rush in and seize the animal(s), this often isn’t possible as it would be against the law - we have no more legal right to do so than you as an individual.

Dogs bark for many reasons and may not necessarily be in distress. Unless there is evidence of a welfare issue our advice is to contact your local authority and make a noise complaint: https://www.gov.uk/report-noise-pollution-to-council They will then contact us if they have further welfare concerns.

If you have seen the dog and are concerned the dog is sick or injured, please call us on 0300 1234 999.

Best wishes,

Nicola

LIED about attemting to deliver a parcel to me.

I waited in all day waiting for DPD to deliver a parcel to me. I logged onto their website and was pleased to see that the parcel was on it's way and would arrive between 11.22 and 12.22. At 12.36 I checked online as my parcel hadn't arrived despite their promise. The message had now changed and was showing that the parcel would arrive between 06.00 and 22.00! At approx 16.00 I logged on to the website only to discover that they claimed they had tried to deliver the parcel but there was no-one in to receive it. The message stated that they would deliver it after the weekend on the following Monday.
Whoever claimed that they had tried to deliver my parcel, but found no-one in is a LIAR.

If there is one thing I hate, it is when a service provider LIES after they have let me down.

My advice is DO NOT USE DPD Uk as they CANNOT BE TRUSTED.
How a company allows their employees to lie to customers is beyond me. If I could give 0 stars I would!

Review of HP

Couldn't care less

I bought a netbook from this company online.
1) The first time I tried to use the DVD writer it failed.
2) The screen constantly flickered and went blank, rendering the device unusable.
I tried contacting HP for customer service under warranty. Whenever, I rang the number, it was constantly engaged and the message "We are experiencing an unusually high volume of calls, please try again later". Then after a few seconds, the line went dead. So unable to get through to HP Customer service. So I went on to the Resolver site and as if by magic, a day later I received an email from HP, giving me a number to ring. This number does not appear on the website! Despite having purchased the netbook online, HP didn't have my details and demanded a proof of purchase, so I had to email them the receipt they had raised and emailed to me!
I then spent an hour on the phone going over the problem with an HP agent, who kept asking me the same questions over and over again. I demanded to be put through to a supervisor. When they went through my contact details, I told them to amend them with the new information. They failed to do this, then claimed that they had tried to contact me to arrange to pick up my netbook. I replied to the email asking them what number they had used. That was 10 days ago and I am still waiting for a reply. I have spent ££thousands over the years with HP. I will never purchase an HP product ever again.

Review of Openreach

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Openreach are appalling. They do not care about customer service.

I live in Fleet, Hampshire and I have the misfortune of living on a new development (which means I have no choice but to use BT Openreach network for the next 5 years) and my broadband speed has dropped from an already poor 4.5Mbps to less than 1.5Mbps as more people move in and it could get even worse.

This company haven't bothered to update the infrastructure. Instead they have just added more households to their existing ancient and crumbling network. This is INDEFENSIBLE and shows nothing but contempt for the hapless consumer! They should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves. When are we going to get proper high speed broadband?

I wish I could get cable services, but I can't as they won't be installed for at least five years. If BT Openreach had competition instead of this unfair monopoly, I am sure things would be very different. Why do I feel as if I have been stitched up?

What a disgrace!

Broadband speeds advertised are misleading!

When I signed up with Sky, I was getting a very slow 4.5Mbps. I am unable to switch to cable as I live on a new development and BT openreach have the monopoly for 5 years. What a stitch up! Anyway I put in a call to Sky as the speed has dropped to a snails pace 1.7Mbps. Apparently this is due to Openreach and Sky refuse to do anything about it or complain on their customers behalf! THIS IS A TERRIBLE SERVICE. As soon as I get the opportunity, I will switch to virgin!!

Appalling, avoid at all costs! Next do not understand customer service.

I was waiting for my parcel t arrive and checked online to see progress only to find that the parcel had apparently been posted through my front door letterbox. I live in an apartment block. I phoned Next to explain that I hadn't received it. First of all they denied that I had placed an order. Then they asked me if I would like to re-order. I explained that I just wanted them to deliver my parcel . I then demanded an explanation from the courier. They stated that this could take up to 48hrs. So after expecting a next day delivery. I might not receive it till Monday! I didn't even get an apology from them. They clearly do not care about appalling customer service. I will never buy products from Next again
