Biased inspection report.

Emmiera came out at the request of SCS to assess our three piece suite that was only two weeks old and the chairs seat cushions were already looking saggy. The person that came out said he would not be allowed to report this as a fault, but said they could put two inches of foam in.... Surely if it needs padding out after two weeks that is a fault!! There were inaccuracies within the report i.e. how long we had the furniture, they stated two months instead of two weeks. We are still pursuing this with SCS and have now got our own independent assessor as we feel Emmiera have a conflict of interest if being paid by SCS.

Our technicians are there to provide an impartial inspection, if a fault is found we will report this back to the retailer to action.

At the time of the visit, the item was 2 months old as per the information that we received from the retailer.

Shockingly Bad Quality!!!!

If I could give no stars I would!!
Our new three piece suite (Casola in upgraded leather) and it looked years old within 2 weeks! We contacted ScS who sent someone out to look at it, they said it was settlement and that 'puddling' is normal, he offered to put 2 inches of extra padding in so the leather did not look so stretched. We declined this as the suite was only 2 weeks old and only had light use.
We have been trying to get them to take it back to get a refund, but they say it is not a manufacturing fault. I strongly advise you to not use this company, the ScS customer service is a disgrace and quality is shockingly awful!!

Sorry to hear about the issues you have been facing however as you stated no faults were discovered by a technician when they attended to inspect the goods so you were provided details for the furniture ombudsman, if you are still unhappy we would advise you to raise a complaint with them.
