MFG Bedworth EV Hub Chademo

MFG Bedworth EV Hub, saved the day for me. I have used other hubs up north and found them to work well. My van and wife's car need Chademo so it's important to have this facility. Yes I know it's Old School but still very much needed. App pretty useless but the debit card reader did the job

No Chademo at Holiday Inn Bedworth
I was running low on power with my Nissan E-200 van. So I came off the motorway to find a charger. Saw the Holiday Inn sign and guessed there would be one there. There were 3, Two dual Rapids but with only one cable which would have charged my van if it had got the second cable fitted, and a AC charger that I could not get to work. Fortunately I was able to locate an MFG hub 2 miles away which saved the day. I usually get disappointed with BP so I don't think I'll even try to use these poor offerings in future. Why install a dual charger and not finnish the job??

Why are they sending mailings to advise us of Pension contributions. We already KNOW THAT!!

Wasting pension money!!

3/10/2025 Got another letter as above. These people are supposed to be reviewing their mailings.
About as reliable as the present government IMHO

Bad Gateway

Bad Gateway
Just tried to lookup information on a Company and I got the above. Gave up after 5 times
I sometimes get this when online filing too.
Absolute disgrace. This institution gets worse by the day. Phoned a few days ago asking for an Authorisation code reminder and the girl said she couldn't do that, but one did arrive by post.
File online they say! Well we can, maybe, if the gateway isn't a Bad One, and the facility is there

We had a new boiler fitted by another…

We had a new boiler fitted by another firm and as this has a 7 year warranty we no longer need boiler cover, so I cancelled the direct debit to BG @ £17 per month.
I had a call from BG a few days ago saying I have to pay £25 + vat cancellation fee, but don't worry this will be collected by a new direct debit. This has not happened and I have received an Invoice from BG telling me I have 14 days to pay. I tried this morning to do this by C card and after pressing all numbers options I reach the payment location only to be told they work Monday to Friday. Recommend BG 0 - 10

I have had good experience of…

I have had good experience of complaining on here when I can't get to get results from Companies with poor customer service. It usually WAKES UP the company I'm complaining about.

Waste of Time these people No one to talk to! STAY AWAY!!!

Last month we switched away from these people on Broadband and phone. I expected Sky to inform Virgin that we'd switched but I find out today Sky did not, but I did cancel the Direct Debit. Now Virgin are chasing me for payment for a service we are not using. I have tried to call Virgin and use the Chat system to explain the above but neither give me the opportunity to explain and stop the billing! Absolute Disgrace! Just phoned the number given ending 1111. Complete waste of time!!. I will write and complain to the only address on their website. 25/10/24 Just had an email from these useless people say my bill for November and December needs paying. I gave them notice one month ago, even had a woman call offering a new deal stay with them????. Virgin DISARRAY not Media. How do I get rid of these people?????

Too many emails

I bought 4 boxes of poo bags from this company, which amounts to 640 bags. Great product! But I ONLY HAVE ONE DOG AND LAST TIME I LOOKED SHE ONLY HAD ONE BUM. At most I use 2 bags per day, so why would I need a subscription service? I shall now be unsuscribing from their emails

Had my turf delivered this morning, a professional gardener and I laid it this afternoon. The Gardener stated he had not seen turf of this quality for a number of years. Just like laying large green carpet tiles, shame one was ripped. Very pleased with our transformed garden. Just got to keep it watered and the Chickens, dog and grandchildren off it till it has matured

I bought my first Nissan Leaf from…

I bought my first Nissan Leaf from Westway Birmingham in January 2020. It was only when I part exchanged this car last December that I was told I should have been issued with a 13amp charging cable as well as the type 2. So the new dealer retained the 13amp cable as I could not part exchange the complete deal. Obviously I was not given a proper handover in the first place, and not knowing that I should have had 2 cables, was left with an incomplete deal. I have a Renault Zoe and that only came with one charging cable. Clearly I shall not be using Westway again

I bought a 100ah Lithium battery from…

I bought a 100ah Lithium battery from these people, last July. I was not able to use it as much as I liked due to not having a powerful solar panel. When I did get my 260w solar panel and 1500w a/c inverter I found the battery could not cope with the power drain of boiling .5 litre of water in a 800w kettle. It gave me an under voltage error even though the battery SOC was over 70%. I now want to return this unit and use Lead/Acid as they are more reliable. Athough I have received support messages, mention of a swap out has been offered if I pay £149.88. This battery is supposed to have a 5 year warranty!!! I was led to believe that the lithium battery will give constant voltage till empty which is why I spent £450.00 on it!! The idea was to operate off grid with this battery, but the only way it will charge properly is with a battery charger from the mains, and then to 99.1%.
Well the battery has failed now dropped to 5.29v after powering a 12v 20w bulb for 7 hours over 2 evenings. Complained to Renogy and they not interested so the 5 year warranty is a sham. I shall now be taking legal advice under the Sales of Goods act!

My advice DON'T BUT FROM THESE PEOPLE, they can't be trusted to honour their promises.

Gross incompetance who on earth is in charge?

I find it hard to believe how the Government can let their major revenue collection department get into the state it is in today. I wrote to HMRC a few days ago about a client who was paying paye to the wrong reference. I even sent a copy of their accounting ledger with the payments on. Today I had a missed call from HMRC who left a message saying it was about my letter. So I phoned, after going through all the recorded options and reporting my HMRC status, I eventually get through to a human who wants to go through my id again, did all that, explained why I was calling, and he said he could not access my letter and wanted me to read out what I'd sent. I told him my time was being wasted and finnished the call. They can't even read now!!!!! MTD a disaster waiting to happen!!!!! They can't even get the vat one to work properly!!

Good Reliable people

I have been with these people for many years using mainly webmail and cloud storage.German company used to be called 1&1. Occasional flaky service but generally suits my needs for the price I pay. I got a call from them a couple of years ago and the guy was surprised how long I had been a customer. So he revised all my bills, got rid of old accounts and thanked me for my loyalty. Now that's a proper firm and I would always recommend them. Pity others are not the same. Before I forget the warnings and error message sometimes come through in German

Don't believe the hype

I have been renting 2 units off these people for over 11 years, the landlord changed 3 times in that period. Up until the last change the rents and services were resonable and ok. The new landlord (from germany I understand) doubled the rent for me in August and up until now I uderstood that everything else was the same. Not the case! Our onsite manager and repair man now have to be shared with two other sites. I wrote and complained to management and got a partial reply. Disgusted at being ripped off I have given notice on one unit and will do the same to the other one when I have a replacement. Just hope I don't have problems getting all my deposit back, as Biz have a bad reputation on this issue I am told. Sad times these, they would sooner chase new customers than look after loyal long term ones, and overload their existing staff.

Listened to the radio ad offering a 24 hour test drive of a Ford Mustang Mach-E. Very excited about this so logged and and requested same. Had a weird email reply from the company internet team and they appeared not to know anything about this offer. Was it a joke?????

Our database of cars and their OBD-II locations is very comprehensive, though it's certainly not perfect, so any feedback is very useful so we can make the process better for drivers like you. In cases where the OBD-II placement is awkward, we can offer to send an extension cable out, so I am sorry that you decided to cancel your policy. I can see that any cancellation fees were waived for you.

Firstly their telephone breakdown…

Firstly their telephone breakdown booking service is not fit for purpose. We used the web to report our fault which was and still is "No domestic hot water from our combi boiler". The engineer came out opened the front of the boiler and it all worked fine. He was here for about 30 mins said he could not find a fault. The next time we wanted to wash up, about 1 hour later, no hot water, put the heating on then I get luke warm water. I did say to the engineer that it was the DHW valve probably being faulty but he either did not check it or presumed it ok as we had hot water. I have now booked another appointment for tomorrow and paid another £50.00. Not happy. Engineer called today 5th, correctly identified the problem and replaced the worn part. All now working as is should. BG wanted me to contact then direct by FB and twatter but I don't use this rubbish.
