Review of Bitdefender
This is a warning for anyone tempted to purchase this "Premium" VPN service for a Windows based system, but not as far as I'm concerned for Android based systems though, they work just fine.
I have so many different issues that it's totally frustrating, they include Bitdefender VPN not allowing Bitdefender AV suite to update! The list goes on & on, all of which I've reported to Tech support who have been, so far, useless. They contradict each other, require large amounts of my data to be sent to somebody who never comes back to me, a different person each email, "switch it off & back on" advice constantly, all of which has taken up too much of my time.
The whole point of a VPN is to protect the user , which it does perfectly well on Android but is useless on Windows.
I basically have to leave the VPN off on my desktop & go through my phone if I want secure connections.
It's all basically a PITA.
I shall be choosing a more competent provider of security when my contract expires now I've found the "cancel recurring payment" option as I want across the board security coverage not just partial.
The one star review is for the Windows based VPN & the customer tech support &, as I have said, not for the AV suite or Android based services.

Review of P&O Ferries
Due to unforeseen circumstances we turned up a week earlier than expected yet P&O put us on a ferry 2 hours later. The ferry actually made the crossing quicker than expected too!
Very pleased with the service received - thanks P&O!
Review of Yourdentistrecommends
The order I placed with the company was fulfilled promptly & efficiently but, unfortunately there was an issue with the item. I contacted them about the issue & was sent an extremely courteous & apologetic reply & details of how I should return the item, which I did.
A replacement followed shortly afterwards with a free gift included.
I am highly impressed with the customer service I've received, the attention to detail & the company wish to make sure you, the customer, are as satisfied as you can be - Thank you!
Review of Fisher & Paykel (United Kingdom)
Obviously this is only my personal experience with Fisher & Paykel &, hopefully, it may prepare a prospective buyer with some extra facts to guide their decision.
I bought a fridge freezer (RF522ADX4) from Fisher & Paykel in mid 2016 based on their reputation as manufacturers of premium quality products & fully aware that a premium price was being paid too.
No real issues other than it was occasionally inclined to produce noises akin to The Jolly Green Giants digestive processes, not really a problem unless you were standing next to it & got the blame.
Roll on to June 2022, approximately 1 year out of guarantee, & the noises started to change & become more frequent. By the beginning of August a constant buzzing started so I called F&P customer support, explained everything & was told it was ok & functioning correctly after checking the lights on the back. I suggested that the compressor sounded as if it was faulty & that it was too hot to touch, but was again told it was just working itself correctly as it was functioning.
2 days later I opened the fridge & everything was warm, the freezer of food was defrosting but the awful noise had stopped - methinks the compressor has failed!
Back on the phone to F&P customer services & they arrange a tech guy visit very quickly & efficiently. Next day tech guy arrives promptly & tells me the compessor & inverter have failed & it'll cost in region of £750 to fix.
I explained, courteously, that I wasn't very impressed with that.
Tech guy spoke to supervisor & I was offered a new machine for just under £1600 (online cheapest deal £1800ish).
Not happy really, I'm already down £130 for tech visit, lost most of the contents of the appliance & paid premium to begin with to really avoid this scenario (I've had Hotpoint's & Beko's that lasted longer)
I'd also point out the appliance has limited use as it's in a single person household too.
Right now though I must add that I've no complaints about the service I received from any staff members, they were all as helpful as they could be & tech guy was friendly & very helpful too.
I then tried again to reason with F&P for a better offer but was told definitley "no chance".
I get it, 5 year guarantee over, but I really expected more from the company it purported to be...
Then I found out that Fisher & Paykel is no longer the New Zealand based company I imagined but a Chinese owned company, the same company that produces Haier & Candy appliances manufactured in Thailand, Italy, China & Mexico.
Now, I'm not suggesting that these facts should detract from anything, I'm just laying them out for anybody who can be bothered to read this - maybe if I'd been more informed I'd have parted with my money differently.
Caveat emptor - Let the buyer beware - fancy names on an appliance do not guarantee their performance or longevity!
PS. Just to add that if you see below a request by the company for my details so that they can contact me & address my issues, guess what...?
Yep, you're right, well done, I sent them my details but they've failed to reply to me, possibly on the learned basis that people need fridges & freezers, difficult to live without them, so they'll generally go get another one asap. And get the delivery company to take the old one away therefore disposing of any evidence of a Fisher & Paykel's unreliability & short life £ for £.
Or maybe I'm just an old cynic?

Review of Everest reviews – windows, doors & more | Everest.co.uk
Dear Everest, & Gemma this time, thank you for your soulless pro forma & insincere sounding reply to me.
Last friday I took the day off for you to fit 2 new bifold doors after a letter & telephone call the day before promised - you called mid morning & said you weren't coming after all. That's it, no follow up call apologising or new date arranging, nothing.
The doors cost me nearly £12,000. Yes, I know, more fool me!
When they first arrived in 2014 they didn't fit.
When you came back to refit one still didn't fit.
Finally two doors in & fitted.
Since then they formed so much condensation it forms in puddles on the threshold & soaks into the carpet all through winter. The lock barrel has never fitted the door handle plate & wind 'howls' through so I have gaffer tape over the outside - attractive! The hinges have all corroded & paint is bubbling off. Sealed glazed unit failed. All the glass seals were wrong sized & had to be replaced. Both door seals keep falling out. Paint wearing off outside elements of the doors.
Last straw that made me have to go back to you again is the actual frames of doors are now corroding (white fur) along each frame joint inside & out. Even you Everest people who have seen it agreed with my dissatisfaction level - or was that just a perfunctory platitude?
All of this is backed with photo, video, email, letter & all telephone call back up evidence which you've seen & I've sent copies of it to you.
If you wish to contact me check with a nice round robin style email to all of your installation centres & enquire if they have any dissatisfied customers that match my story, SURELY there can't possibly be that many??
I'll give you a clue - I first reported all my issues (some with the windows you fitted too ie they don't seal & cold winds blow through them) at, wait for it, 4.22pm 26/06/2017.
Yes, that IS 560 days ago now - 560 DAYS!!
The installation depot dealing with me has since had 3 different installation managers (got all their names & tel nos but, obviously, I can't mention them here or you'll have my post shut down).
Must say it shouldn't be difficult as there's, allegedly, a depot with, at today's prices I'd imagine, well over £12,000 worth of doors hanging around, that is if they do actually exist as it wouldn't be the first time you'd lied through your teeth about that. Again, evidence to back that up.
I shall continue to emulate an Everest victim who should inspire all of us victims, Tim Clayton, so look him up alongside Everest's name & discover just how duplicitous & weak they are as a company now. They seemingly spend more time, money & effort in avoiding customer guarantee service & responsibility whilst constantly changing the corporate structure by replacement of CEO, heads of dept etc.
Also look for the Everest threads on MSE forum, sobering reading for potential buyers.
I wish I'd taken my own advice, so if just one person who reads this thinks twice & shops around, well, my pain & aggravation will have been worth it!
I look forward to the next computer generated mea culpa from the Everest Office of Couldn't Care Less.
Thank you.

Dear Everest, or should I reference 'Hannah' who replied to myself, and others, here (visibly) on the Trustpilot site?
Anyway, this review is just as pertinent as my other of the atrocious & disrespectful way I have been treated by Everest.
I wonder if the irony & commercial ineptitude of your concern for my predicament has actually dawned on any of you there?
You feign concern whilst at the same time treating me with what I feel is contempt.
Why have Everest, the company, as opposed to which ever damage limitation operation/department you belong to, not bothered to call me back? you have my name, number, address & money.
You failed to turn up & do the job you promised you would do wasting a day of my time. This was not the first time, just one of many (documented, please don't test me on it as you will lose that one!)
For your information the irony is that I've heard nothing, nada, zilch, FA etc from your customer service side, an installation manager or anyone of any importance whatsoever to apologise or arrange another date for repair!! Laughable ineptitude & a customer service that falls so far short of even basic necessity, it's shocking.
In answer to your question for my details the answer is no, I'm not giving them to you so your poor excuse of a company will have to do some work for a change & find me on your very own customer list. I'm listed under short changed & angry no doubt.
Whatever you tell me I won't believe you as, in general, you have lied to me, many times.
Don't imagine that I can be bought in the public arena with promises of action. Actions speak louder than words &, unfortunately the word of Everest seems so flimsy as to disappear with the wind & the sound of forgotten customers cash being thrust into your wallets.
This is a follow up review of Everest customer services which I shall continue to update for the sake of others in the market for double glazing products.
Thank you!

...And I am that fool!
Today was the final straw, another cancelled appointment an hour after the advised arrival time so another day wasted. The real insult is this appalling lack of respect for any customers time or feelings - "we've had your money so now we're not that bothered" attitude.
There is not enough space here to catalogue fully my entire sorry installation, so I merely refer here to the latest list of 6 faults, but not in detail you'll be pleased to hear.
June 2017 I reported the faults.
I have since spent 554 days, yes 554, asking, pleading, for repairs.
Finally they send me a letter confirming some repairs will be (allegedly) done on Jan 4th 2019.
I checked by phone if they were still coming then on Jan 2nd because the weather is cold, too cold to use their silicone sealants (+5 deg application tech spec) or cyanoacrylates superglues (+10 deg app). They'd have to check... (somehow I wasn't convinced they knew what I was talking about)
Jan 3rd they call to say my job is on & their men (subcontractors) will be with me from 8am onwards & the silicone 'thing' is ok, but if it isn't they'll come back again & fix it - Again!
Jan 4th 2019 I'm ready at 8am but at 9.30am the phone rings &, you've guessed it, they're not coming as they don't have the parts.
My wits end was lost so, so long ago with Everest that I feel everyone should know, then think twice & maybe yes, go & see a local firm who, if they mess things up, you can at least go see them or stand outside protesting to anyone who'll listen!
Almost every bad review Everest have resonates with my views, a script they follow from management to telephone operatives, an impenetrable wall of non responsibility, obfuscation, passing the buck & continual management personnel replacements in my experience.
The internet is a wonderful resource, check out everything you can about Everest & their owners Better Capital LLP before you commit your hard earned money into their disrespectful hands.
This is my honest experience, if I can pass it on & it stops one person making my mistake it's worth it.
Thanks & YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

Review of Car Sounds & Security
I rang & asked a lot of questions, the guy I spoke to took all the time I wanted to give me all the info & advice I needed. I went away, thought about it & then went to their web site & ordered the system, it was well priced & free delivery. It all arrived in just over 24 hours. A fantastic service all round & I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. First class & well done!
