Good genuine Shimano products, but packaging of the cassette had been squashed during transport. I hope the cassette has not been bent, but won't know until it is fitted. I wrote to Tredz about this but had no acknowledgement, hence the 3 stars instead of the usual 5.

This is probably another IT app rushed to market too quickly without proper development. On a cycle ride, it would work OK(ish), then tell us we were going the wrong way. As a consequence we would adjust our course, only to find it then advised us to take the previous route we were on. On one occasion it tried to take us back home before we had reached our planned destination. It took us about double the time it should have. I lost count of how many wrong turns. On the way back we abandoned the app and used our own initiative. The return leg took roughly half the time. Won't be using it again.

Good service, good OE product, good packaging and prompt delivery. What more could one ask for?

I was sceptical that a smart meter would be able to transmit the usage data to our energy supplier from our home due to a number of local factors. I made the agent I spoke with aware of my doubts, but was assured.
The installation was carried out neatly and competently. The technician persevered by substituting components, but could not get the communication hub to function correctly.
A new appointment will now have to be made to upgrade the hub to a more powerful type with an aerial. Given my initial concerns, I don't know why the upgraded hub was not supplied initially.

Easily found the part I needed on the eSpares website. Fast delivery and well packaged. The reason for only three stars is one of the new fridge door hinges is creaking badly. It was installed properly using the same shims, in the same positions as before. I have tried applying some light oil to the hinge pivots, which has improved matters but still not correct. Next I shall try adding an additional shim behind the top hinge. I think these hinges are pattern parts although they do look very similar to the originals. Gavin
Update 13/5/24. Thank you Hamza. I have persevered and made some further improvement. By increasing the number of shims behind the upper hinge and reducing the number behind the lower hinge. I will monitor the situation over the coming weeks. Thank you, Gavin
