Save your money

Don't be fooled by the .co.uk website suffix. It turns out that the company is in the Netherlands and despite an implied two day delivery it took two weeks to arrive from China. Packaging was minimal although the ceiling lamps were intact. One of the pair was however incorrectly wired through the transformer. Also, the lamps had a ridiculous spring clip mounting method which required making a 3" diameter hole which I have no intention of making. Due to the potential danger involved I requested a return and refund. I received and automated email stating that they were looking into it. A month went by so I emailed again but was ignored.

Shirecare Carer

I have worked with Shirecare for a year now. I entered into caring with trepidation having read some of the dreadful reports about some care companies and the way staff were treated. I applied to Shirecare because the staff reviews appeared to be different and they certainly are. My work colleagues are wonderful. Everyone helps and looks out for one another to give the very best care to our clients. They are a joy to work with. As far as management go, they go the extra mile to fit in with my needs. Communication is excellent. They listen when issues are raised and will do thier very best to solve a problem. I feel supported and appreciated and would highly recommend Shirecare for both Domicilliary Care and as an employer.

Great quality & service

Unfortunately our sink arrived badly broken. However this was remedied and a replacement unit was shipped out. It was the courier companies policy to return the complete order. Not a problem really but it just increased the chances of additional damage. That said the quality of the units sink and toilet is excellent. Everything fitted together beautifully. This was a DIY project so very pleased about that. Design is good especially the abilty to easily access the cystern. Top marks all round.

High mileage bathroom

We had bathroom furniture delivered. This included sink toilet and pre constructed units. Everything was handled well HOWEVER, the sink was broken due to some sort of impact. The guys had already photographed the damaged carton as they do not load their own vans.
They were very helpful and patient. The complete order was returned. AIT policy.
A new sink arrived a few days later. And a couple of days after that my now well travelled bathroom returned. This time all was well. A different team delivered this time and they were very helpful as I rechecked everything.
Conclusion: AIT delivery staff are a cut above the rest. Warehouse staff could maybe do with additional training.

Trauma-free

Having had an accident is traumatic enough without being interrogated and questioned when contacting your insurance company.
I was courteously put through to Lisa who was very kind and made the process both quick and painless. I was very pleasantly surprised at how simple the process was. A decision was made immedietly and I felt that the hassle had been taken from me. So far, I feel I am in good hands. Thank you.

No more screams

Iam a competant DIYer and found that Installation was very straight forward. Instructions very clear and concise. The product is well made and everything fitted perfectly.
We can now shower and flush a loo simultaneously without the blood curdling screams and foul language. I had no idea my wife knew such words.

A very straightforward transaction. There was no pressure. Yes they attempted to upsell but again no pressure. All in all a comfortable sale. A very good test drive/demonstration which clinched the deal.

Just needed a part for the Thetford. A quick online search brought up Magnum as being significantly cheaper that all competitors. I was certain it would be a copy, but it is a genuine Thetford spare. That along with free fast p&p. More than happy and Magnum is now my goto for MH spares. Thank you guys.

TEN YEARS worth of points lost? Nearly.

Over a period of 10 years YES TEN YEARS I saved up a lot of points. I knew I had them and that they were safe. After not using the card for 12 months they disappeared! Spoke to the chat line based God knows where they told me that the account had been frozen and my hard earned points had been removed and transferred to a dormant account. What! Why? Ok yes they can be reinstated. This took a chat box conversation of half an hour. Due to huge pauses in the conversation by them. Eventually they came back and said it would take 28 days. Why!!?. 30 days later...sweet FA.
Back on the chat box and spoke with Aikantik who was very polite and very slow. Toing and frowing between me and 'the team'. Half an hour later it was decided that my points would be reinstated in 'a few days'. Why!!? It's a press off a button! I requested he/she define 'a few'. Turns out that a few is a week.
Are they waiting until I just give up trying?
....watch this space

I will edit if there is an outcome.

7/10/24 My points were reapplied as promised.

Maybe think about extending the period before removing points from peoples accounts?
