Poor customer service…

A few weeks ago I purchased a washing machine from Appliance City. When the machine was unpacked I noticed it was very dirty and the wheels left oily black marks on my kitchen floor when it was being placed into position. I thoroughly cleaned the machine which took some considerable time as the oily dirt was quite stubborn. Indeed my Terracotta tiles on the floor were so badly marked that they had to be sanded back and resurfaced in places. I complained to the company with little response but eventually they forwarded me £5 for the cleaning cloths!! This was just plain insulting if my husband had not been proficient in DIY I would have had to find a contractor and pay for the repair of the floor! Beware poor customer service and I will definitely not be using this company again!

Nightmare experience

Purchased an expensive model of Braun Steam generator and the customer service was appalling. Avoid this company at all costs unless you can put up with the debacle of attempting to access a repair let alone a replacement under warranty period!

Appalling customer service

Purchased a Braun Carestyle 7 Pro direct Steam Generator direct from the company at a cost of £249.99 in May 2024. While the iron itself was brilliant (when functioning) I had problems with it suddenly cutting off the steam function over a couple of months. On contacting Braun I was informed that rather than offering a replacement they would look to repair. Problem is that the schedule for this is as follows - 3-5 working days to collect followed by “At least 7-12 days for repair” then presumably return wait. As this includes the Easter holidays this will be a longer process. All in all it looks as though I could well be without my iron for nearly a month so I will have to purchase another iron whilst waiting. This is appalling customer service from such a well known company! Needless to say my initial high level of satisfaction regarding the product has been shattered and I will not be purchasing any further products from a company who treats customers so shoddily!

Awful customer service after purchasing

New washing machine delivered 3 weeks ago and from the beginning it would intermittently not wash stain remover power and fabric conditioner completely through the drawer. Told to take a video of fault and engineer visited but stated he could not find fault despite my evidence of video footage of powder remaining in drawer. Phoned Ao to request replacement was informed that because the engineer could not find the fault and the washing machine had been used for 3 weeks I could only request more engineer visits (losing time from work) or have a 15% deduction of monies paid and purchase another machine. After half an hour of discussion I was informed that they reduce my deduction to me of 10% of my purchase price despite my video evidence of the fault! I am now in the position of having a faulty washing machine or losing money. AVOID this company or at least read the terms and conditions very carefully! I have previously purchased many items from ao but never again!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Purchased a bag which developed a fault within a few days. Contacted company and they requested photo which was forwarded to them. They stated to return the bag and they would refund. When they received the bag they sent e mail informing me that there was not a fault, I had returned the bag without stuffing and label which I had previously explained was due to the bag being in use for a few days and would obviously not have the stuffing retained. They have returned the faulty bag back to me and refuse to explain why when a refund was agreed by e mail! AVIOD AVOID AVOID

Communication from Le Crueset state no details of my claim can be found if they give me a contact I can supply info again

Had contact with Le Creuset over the past three weeks with regard to a faulty stainless steel kettle. They take several days each time before a reply then ask for numerous photos which were supplied as requested. They ask me to try several remedies which I did without success then finally to return the product for further inspection without any supply of packaging to do so not to mention that I would be without a kettle for up to 10 days! When I explained that I have been unable to source a suitable container I was informed that I could visit my nearest store a two hour (minimum) round trip for inspection of the item but it was likely that this would be wear and tear and not under warranty. This is laughable as there are 2 adults only in the house and I am extremely meticulous in caring/cleaning without exception. Buyer beware of the warranty which is in my opinion a farce!

I booked a hire car alongside full cover insurance with this company…

I booked a hire car with this company complete with full cover policy. Unfortunately we suffered a tyre blow out and attempted to claim via their website submitting all necessary documentation. After more than a month I have received no response and indeed sent numerous e-mails to attempt to gain information on my claim. I can only assume that this company is a scam and advise others not to be fooled by their policies.

Thank you for leaving the review and feedback, we appreciate all comments. I understand your frustrations on this issue and imagine the last thing you want to worry about is replacements etc which is totally understandable.

Our probes come with a 6 month warranty, but we have also seen them last 12/18 months. It does depend on usage, programmes and general housekeeping as with anything. If you need to discuss further best usage/programmes for maximum efficiency please do not hesitate to give us a call.

Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service. Inaccurate description of certain products which we were advised were a standard fit. This was NOT accurate information and resulted in an expensive experience. Eventually went to go to the local DIY to purchase a replacement which was also much cheaper. Have purchased previously but definitely will not be a repeat custmer after this experience.

Very Poor Customer Service

Having been a loyal longstanding customer I am appalled at the very poor standard of customer service of Virgin Media. I have telephone and broadband services and had issues with my telephone service for 22 months before the issue was resolved. Over this time various engineers attended and blamed extensions and the weather for the issue which resulted in my not receiving calls but not realising until someone called my mobile to see why they could not contact or when I was intermittently unable to call out. During this long period of time I must have missed some important calls and also I had a close relative who was gravely ill in hospital so the phone was of vital importance to contacting me in an emergency. The fault was finally (hopefully) rectified some weeks ago when the company gave the go ahead for a cable rewire. I feel that this should have been completed prior to 22 months of problems but that they were simply trying the 'cheaper options' to avoid the rewire. On complaining I was given a £20 refund for 22 months of hassle and no effect telephone service. On further complaint the company stated that they had investigated and nothing further could be done. I leave potential customers to decide for themselves whether this is an indication of a reliable company!!!!
