Pretty stupid sending me a review form - ordered and paid 25/8 - now 16/9 and the package is not received. Last tracking information posted was 27/8 saying it was in transit to Sydney. Poor form! Ever heard of customer service?

Made a booking with a hotel and then cancelled it with a free cancellation option. I was still charged!
Contacted their customer service who didn't want to know!
Told me to contact the hotel and washed their hands of it.

I joined for the 0% commission.
After 2 weeks that offer was withdrawn and I was paying commission.
Put up with the bad UI, bet lag times, and slightly lower odds because I was winning. And then after a couple of profitable months I received this email.
"We will be setting your account to a new revenue sharing model. This model will have a requirement for your account to reach a 60% Commission : Profit ratio each month. Meaning that if you win say £10,000 in a month, and you have only paid £5,500 in commission. You would be required to pay the additional £500.00 in commission on the first day of the following month. "
So basically if I win a £1000, they want £600 in commission.
I was warned that this was not a true exchange (but rather proprietary betting and betting partnerships), so consequently they only want losing punters. Seems the warnings were true.
What better way to get rid of an account by creating a ridiculous and anarchic commission structure that only a complete moron would sign up to.
Message, if you are a loser, this place is probably for you.
For those aspiring to win, try one of the other better exchanges.
What a joke of a response from Matchbook.......60% commission mate, 60%, nothing difficult to understand, nothing really to discuss with anybody.

Review of Trustpilot
After a recent attempt to post a negative review of mobilephonesdirect.co.uk , I have my doubts as to how much value can be placed on the reviews on this site.
The post was removed twice, first with a claim of an invalid order number, then that it was defammatory. I was even instructed to contact the company in one email referencing the review in the subject line.
If the reviewers aren't paying the site, how does the site make money?
I guess the companies being reviewed?

Trustpilot is an open online review community, where anyone can review a company. Not all businesses on Trustpilot are paying, a lot of them use Trustpilot for free. No matter if they are paying or not, no company can simply request that reviews be removed from their profile.
Everyone has the ability to report a review that they do not feel meets Trustpilot guidelines. Once the review has been reported, it is investigated by our compliance team who will gather information regarding the review (your proof of purchase etc). If this information matches the review it will remain online. I am sorry the company then reported your review for being defamatory, I understand having your review reported twice would feel like a bad customer experience on your side. As long as your review is compliant and within our guidelines it will always be mad public on our site.

I was doubting whether I should order from this site but was swayed by the Truspilot reviews.................so now I decided to add one for them for any future prospective customers like myself.
The Samsung curved soundbar was offered at the cheapest price and delivered extremely promptly.

Ok so be careful dealing with these guys.
The danger is the cashback process.
It makes the deal look cheap but the company counts on the fact that by staggering and complicating the cash back process (i.e. 6, 9, 12, 15 and 18 months or billing months 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12), a lot of people will misss out on claiming the cash back.
If the customer realises at some point and then try to claim the cashback offer later, they will say it has "expired".

JUST A POINT to consider - the company seems to have a lot of positive reviews on Trust Pilot. When I attempted to post this negative one, it was immediately removed with a claim that my order number was invalid. When I provided documentation proof, the post was then removed becaue it contained "accusatory/defamatory statements".
So I am trying again, and it has been an annoying process which I think many people would have just given up on..............again something to think about when assessing the reviews.
