You give them return flight number, you give them your details, you call them from luggage return. You wait 40 minutes! Awful awful awful. Should have done long stay, would have been far quicker

Absolutely awful service. Tired from a night flight and had to wait over 30 mins for car to be returned. So much for meet and greet, may as well have booked long stay- would have been quicker and cheaper for us.

Awful company. Mis-advertise properties on their website then tap small print. I booked a hotel in Verona as it said it had a spa. It even listed ‘Spa’ as the first amenity. There is no spa on site- it’s a 10 minute walk and cost an additional €35 for two hours. Hotels.con were not interested and tapped some small print which I didn’t even see.
Review of Shindefender
Shin guards in the UK and Europe should have passed EN/BS 13061. These don’t. Marketing nonsense sold on Insta and Facebook. Website full of “Reviews by Mum” etc. These pads look OK for training in but definitely won’t let my 10 year old wear for matches.
I have ticked the box to allow ShinDefender to respond to this. I’m willing to bet they won’t as no argument to be had if they don’t have BS 13061.
Review of Crosswater Ltd
Bath hose attachment doesn’t work after about a week. After a year the plug doesn’t work. It’s the one, where the plug lists when you turn something on the overflow. Shower drips while you sit in the bath. Have not come back to my installer, or their supplier for months. Avoid this company, not even particularly cheap and the service is awful. Apparently known for it in the industry.
Update. Ignore their response. Body has been in touch. Even after I sent pictures as requested. Sham of a business.

Nightmare. I explained to initial installers where the old BT line went (and granted it wasn’t easy). They said no problem and not our problem as someone else will come to install. Next installer comes in a week later and says there’s no way he can install it where it was (apparently can’t go through an internal wall). He said someone would be in touch (they weren’t). I called 48hrs later to explain and they knew nothing about an aborted install. Called again 24hrs after and they said I need a survey which would take 72hrs to even get a booking (and booking would be circa 2 weeks). I explained I would have no internet in 72 hrs (as provider would be cancelled by then) and needed this sorting urgently, nothing.
Then went through to cancellations who were very apologetic and asked me to give them a chance to get this fixed. He offered a discount for a limited time and said someone would call me today or at worst tomorrow and have it all expedited. Guess what- 48hrs later no call. And now I have no internet.
Gigaclear have received millions in funding and government projects (plus a £240m debt guarantee from UK infrastructure bank which is tax payer funded) to bring internet to rural areas. They’ve managed to reduce my internet to zero. Thanks for nothing. Avoid this company if you want good service.
UPDATE: interesting you have replied to my review as for the THIRD time you have not called back as you promised. Now on the phone to you for the 6th time to try and get this sorted. Hours of my life wasted and laughable that you have replied on Trustpilot but not bothered to actually address the issue with me. You’re team have not been in touch and clearly you are more interested in saving face by replying on Trustpilot rather than dealing with the actual issue. You have bodged my installation and it will cost upwards of £600 to put the mess you’ve made back to a reasonable state. AVOID THIS COMPANY WHO HAVE SUCKED TAXPAYER MONEY AND WHO’S CUSTOMER SERVICE IS WOEFUL (accept for replying on Trustpilot which you seem to be very good at!).

Awful experience. Happy to sell me services over the phone to set the laptop up. Assured that if I buy from them that the correct store will fit me in. Well I purchased and store could not do setup for another week. I collected laptop and store said they’d refund the setup costs they had charged me for. They didn’t.
Online are now not interested and say I need to take up with the store. However they’ve referred me to a store 50 miles from my house to try and get the refund.
Pathetic service from an expensive company who is not customer focused. Although by the 10 plus emails they have sent just this week, attempting to sell me something, they may be under the illusion they are.

Where do I start? This company operates a confusing credit system where a cisomer service operative offers some sort of credit before purchase. I bought a pair of glasses which came with the WRONG lenses in. Upon complaining I was told that a credit was on my account and they would refund. There was also another pair which I had ordered wrong. G4u offered a refund of half (fair enough). So I placed the order only to wait 2 weeks and then be told that I had tried to steal from them.
All the operatives seem to change their name to suit their moods and one who refers to himself as Charles J (although the syntax of their remarks also suggests they are J Reed) is particularly rude. They accused me of theft from them, despite me being the one out of pocket. Apparently they are arguing that a credit was put on my account 5 months before this purchase which I inadvertently used to purchase the last pair (although I used in good faith for the one and a half pairs which I was supposedly credited for).
They just repeat themselves in emails and you cannot get to talk to anyone senior because the childish operatives simply pretend to be someone else. The glasses on the site are cheap but ok for cost. However good luck if there is ever a problem.
I'm reporting everything to Trading Standards and hoping they will take action against these pariah's.
