Shocking decline in service at the Post Office

i dont have a local bank branch so went to the post office to pay in £113.95..the woman looked at me with such disdain and threw back the 95pence and said " you cant pay that in" . it was legitimate uk currency, a 50 p, two 20p and a 5p but she was so rude i didnt ask why.....i emailed the post office and got a response that they dont have to accept coins unless they are in full money bags. What has the post office become where they reject legal currency? their branches are the filthiest places, their staff amongst the rudest in London and now they wont accept legal currency..shocking...goodbye Post Office...you were great once, you deserve to fail.

slow

Edited review. so in good faith i returned a duplicate order to feelgood and emailed them a copy of the receipt on the 17th september, since then they have been quiet. i emailed them yesterday the 30th and have had nothing but bounced/undeliverable emails, i sent them a whatsapp and they say they have not received the item and want proof again of the postage. i have submitted again.....It looks like i will now get the refund as per the response below . Took a while but think we have it resolved.thank you.

finally.

So, this is an ongoing saga that has finally been resolved but clearly shows what the issue is. This was a replacement order for an item Lastway couldnt be bothered to deliver, This order was received in hub on 24th August..it got mis sorted a couple of times and was staged for delivery 5 times...after reporting back to the supplier, it magically appeared today. What a sham of a company. Not a clue where the original order is and i dont care. more fool the supplier for using such a terrible courier company, they have lost my business thanks to the courier. The address was so clearly on the package with the eir code, its clear what the problem is.
i should have said...cue the cut and paste"i havent read your post but know its not going to be good " response...lol and then they change the response when they read this lol

oh dear...Dont Feel Good..and no Contacts

So, my first order despatched on 6th August hasn't been received. A replacement was finally sent on the 21st. unfortunately , they used the same courier that missorted the previous order 3 times and staged it for next day delivery 5 times and failed to deliver. So far the replacement has been missorted twice and staged for next day delivery twice. Just how bad the courier Fastway Ireland is, I appreciate is out of their control,, however, why send an item via them a second time knowing that they couldnt be bothered to deliver the first item? hopefully a refund will be forthcoming... i was hoping for a positive outcome on this.very disappointed.

UPDATE..emailed the company on the afternoon of the 27th to let them know that no replacement has been received and that is still the case today. I have not had a response from them..You would think they would be wondering what the couriers were doing with the packages....FGO-2025860625338-IE

Dont Care,Wont Care

If you ever needed proof that these people dont care about how bad the service is...this is it. They copy a feeble response..and do nothing. Tbf i blame the company that i ordered through as they know Fastway are the Lastway but sent a replacement via them.
I am sure the people who work for them are very proud of working for such a bad company

So far missorted twice and set for delivery twice.

28/8 UPDATE so the usual dont care response,this is the third messed up delivery in a row and the second non delivery. They have really bad staffing /logistical issues in west cork and absolutely no concern for providing a decent honest service. I know exactly what the issue is ..we live on the cusp of the Drimoleague and Skibbereen areas and have a Skibbereen eircode..neither of the drivers want to do their jobs and their "managers" dont know how to handle the situation as they are just as bad..not sure if the people are stealing the packages , returning them as "cant be bothered to deliver" or binning them..its cool with me...i get my money back and the opportunity to tell businesses how bad Fastway are...just a shame irish business is losing out on custom.

Fastway..…their name is the biggest joke.

So having had my package since 8th August, it has been missorted 3 times, staged for delivery 5 times and today its status is problem with address. total farce. the address the sender has is correct so the only the reason for an incorrect or illegible address now is due to the incompetence of this company.

First Impressions

First time using this company, order was despatched on 6th August,so far no sign of delivery. order FGO-2025860625338-IE. so definitely delivery is not within the timescales given. The courier company used Fastway are dreadful, they are known as Lastway for a very good reason. I emailed the company on 13th August and had no reply. I dont know if i will get my order.
UPDATE..still no response from this company, still no contact lenses. total joke of a company, will definitely not be ordering from them again
update 20/8..and still nothing received...its a goodbye from me as a customer.

Totally USELESS

here we are again...Lastway as useless as ever. They have had my package at their "hub" since the 8th August. On the 11th it was "staged for next day delivery" On the 13th there were 2 "mis sort" statuses.

UPDATE..still no delivery on the 18th August...despite their empty apology....the seller has lost a customer thanks to the joke that is Lastway

UPDATE.... 20/8 and today they claim another mis sort..these people really should not be in business....if you are not bothered when or if your items turn up..use Fastway..they will guarantee satisfaction in that area......

Good service but …

Good but unfortunately if you live in West Cork the couriers, Lastway and UselessParcelService are beyond a joke. Delivery is at their convenience , not yours, the customer. The last two orders have been painful so I will be going elsewhere in the future.

Consistently...unreliable…

so last time the Useless Parcel Service were entrusted with a delivery, they missed the initial estimated delivery date, the next day when it was showing due for delivery by end of day,it wasnt. the status was updated to incomplete address or something like that. The day after that the courier did call for the eircode and delivered the item..Not sure why he couldnt have done that the day before and delivered,maybe he didnt have his phone, or just doesnt like West Cork.So to this delivery, looks like history is repeating, missed the initial delivery date,now showing as due for delivery end of Friday, no delivery(today is Saturday), now showing as "will provide new delivery date asap. They are consistent at least, and not in a good way. I thought Lastway were the worst courier in Ireland but think UPS are closely matching them. The sender has had my complete address and they have used the other two couriers(both beginning with D and 3 letters) previously to get my order sent efficiently, so not sure why there is a problem with UPS not getting the full address.They can get a parcel across Europe to Dublin in a couple of hours, but after that, its a lottery as to when you get your items.
Update..so I emailed UPS with the tracking, the address...the response came early afternoon, the usual load of nothing..then later the status shows that the address is incomplete(despite me giving the information to the "care" team)...and today it now says"Please provide us with the correct address for delivery or this package may be returned to the sender" ..beyond a joke. I have now contacted the sender to show how bad the Useless Parcel Service is.
UPDATE..so despite myself and the sender giving these clowns the address information again, they have changed the status to UPS initiated contact with reciever or importer for clearance information...and they have responded to the seller that they need more address information...there is no more address information, it is the same address they have delivered to before. Clearly delaying tactics because they either dont have staff or the one they have cant be bothered. Shocking company. Again I have advised the seller that the company are playing a game. I really do hope they return the item at this point. unfortunately for the seller, they have lost a customer due to the Useless Parcel Service.
UPDATE 31/7...yesterday evening I got an email from UPS saying the driver was having issues with the address...I know what the issue is, we are on the cusp of the next postal area and the driver can't be bothered...thats the issue...anyhow the Useless Parcel Service have failed totally and the sender are requesting that UPS return the item and i get my money back...it took a day to get the item from mainland europe to ireland..but once in ireland they are too lazy to deliver.

more like the Lastway

So Fastway have had my item in their hub since the 19th May, on the 20th,21st and 22nd the status was "staged for next day delivery" i messaged them on the 22nd to see if i might be in with a chance of them doing what they said they were going to do...they couldn't be bothered to reply. I messaged the company i had bought the item from to let them know how useless Lastway are. on the 27th the status has been updated again saying "staged for next day delivery" so maybe they will listen to the company that they are contracted to, but not me. will avoid in the future.no coincidence I'm sure that they didn't update the status till the company i contacted got in touch with them..UPDATE..so I responded to the company request to pass over the tracking details...and on the 28th yet another "staged for next day delivery" status....so 5 "staged for next day delivery" statuses. Nuvion which they are part of brag that they will revolutionise the logistics landscape...they sure have and set it back 20 years....UPDATE..today the 29th the status has been updated again "staged for next day delivery" so 6 in a row .Lastway,do not ask me to email you again with the tracking details, it has done no good so far. I felt bad leaving a negative review at first...but it is totally justified.UPDATE2..so, the item did finally arrive. 2 weeks after they had it in their possession .along with another item that had been reported as lost in the post earlier in the month...in the meantime i had contacted the seller to let them know how bad the service was and they sent a replacement order...not via Lastway obviously..so people need to feedback to the seller just how bad this service is..it is the only way that things get better...oh and this evening i got a response from the "chat" facility i used on 23rd May asking for more information and explaining that they have had a few messages so are a bit slow atm...no wonder.

no service at all.

I wasn't in when a delivery was attempted. As per the card, I rearranged delivery for a few days forward. No delivery, no communication. nothing. I rearrange delivery again for another couple of days in advance that same evening soon after 9 pm as it was obvious I had sat in all day waiting that they couldn't be bothered to deliver. On the day I had rearrange delivery it took til after 10 am for their system to show the order was out for delivery. Useless company, I know they have had a message on their site saying how busy they are..but if they don't have capacity to deliver when a re delivery has been scheduled, don't allow a re schedule to happen.Will avoid any retailer who uses Yodel in the future , They have a rip off phone line as well that wastes a few minutes and money with waffle. It should be Freephone if you are phoning about a problem as they are being paid to deliver which they have failed to do.
