Consistently...unreliable…
so last time the Useless Parcel Service were entrusted with a delivery, they missed the initial estimated delivery date, the next day when it was showing due for delivery by end of day,it wasnt. the status was updated to incomplete address or something like that. The day after that the courier did call for the eircode and delivered the item..Not sure why he couldnt have done that the day before and delivered,maybe he didnt have his phone, or just doesnt like West Cork.So to this delivery, looks like history is repeating, missed the initial delivery date,now showing as due for delivery end of Friday, no delivery(today is Saturday), now showing as "will provide new delivery date asap. They are consistent at least, and not in a good way. I thought Lastway were the worst courier in Ireland but think UPS are closely matching them. The sender has had my complete address and they have used the other two couriers(both beginning with D and 3 letters) previously to get my order sent efficiently, so not sure why there is a problem with UPS not getting the full address.They can get a parcel across Europe to Dublin in a couple of hours, but after that, its a lottery as to when you get your items.
Update..so I emailed UPS with the tracking, the address...the response came early afternoon, the usual load of nothing..then later the status shows that the address is incomplete(despite me giving the information to the "care" team)...and today it now says"Please provide us with the correct address for delivery or this package may be returned to the sender" ..beyond a joke. I have now contacted the sender to show how bad the Useless Parcel Service is.
UPDATE..so despite myself and the sender giving these clowns the address information again, they have changed the status to UPS initiated contact with reciever or importer for clearance information...and they have responded to the seller that they need more address information...there is no more address information, it is the same address they have delivered to before. Clearly delaying tactics because they either dont have staff or the one they have cant be bothered. Shocking company. Again I have advised the seller that the company are playing a game. I really do hope they return the item at this point. unfortunately for the seller, they have lost a customer due to the Useless Parcel Service.
UPDATE 31/7...yesterday evening I got an email from UPS saying the driver was having issues with the address...I know what the issue is, we are on the cusp of the next postal area and the driver can't be bothered...thats the issue...anyhow the Useless Parcel Service have failed totally and the sender are requesting that UPS return the item and i get my money back...it took a day to get the item from mainland europe to ireland..but once in ireland they are too lazy to deliver.
