Good prices and efficient processing
Good prices and efficient processing. Shipping from Spain to U.K. took a few days, but good tracking information was provided. Would use again.

Very convenient short-term insurance cover. Expensive, of course; in my case the admin fee was half the total cost, but that's not surprising. I would use the service again.

Review of Shiply
Successful outcome
My request soon had two potential couriers competing for the job. The one I selected was a specialist motorcycle mover and did a great job.

Review of Cut My
Accurate!
Boards were cut accurately and protected well for shipping. Despite this, one of the boards suffered slight damage.
Review of PuffinInsurance.com
Looks good, though the proof of the pudding will come if I have to claim …
I opted for the Platinum option because I am planning a trip of 40+ days. The process on the Puffin web site was straightforward and the price was competitive for such a comprehensive policy. The medical loading was reasonable, though it would have been nice to know how much of the premium was attributable to this before purchase.

Review of Resolutionlaw
Solid, dependable service
I was referred to Resolution Law by my home legal expenses insurer. My case took time, through no fault of the firm, but remained live regardless of the coming and going of individual case handlers. Adrian McGurk took over the case in its crucial later stages and has brought it to a successful conclusion. His thoroughness, persistence and responsiveness are a credit to the firm.

Review of Trainline
Even for European trains ...
I've just used Trainline to book a return journey from Madrid to Valencia. There are a lot of options, but the choices were clear and the booking was confirmed immediately.
Review of Indra Renewable Technologies
Disappointing
Indra promises the most advanced and sophisticated vehicle charge points. What this seems to mean in practice is that customers act as unpaid beta testers.
I was using the OVO Charge Anytime tariff directly with my Tesla very successfully, and chose the Indra charge point because it was one of only two that supports that tariff; this would enable me to charge my Renault Zoe at the same cheap rate as the Tesla. It turns out that the Indra app doesn't support the OVO tariff, so I have to use a basic web app. I can no longer see what's going on, nor how much I am paying.
It has taken two weeks to get my charge point connected to Wi-Fi. The design of the unit itself is focused on gimmicks rather than useability; it doesn't even come with a means of storing the charge plug safely.
Two stars rather than one, because support staff are friendly and well-intentioned.
Update: The problems with the unit were never resolved, but Indra did co-operate in getting it removed and my money refunded. Decent service; shame about the product.

Excellent selection of products
CEF was the only place I could find a particular item. My local store was out of stock, but home delivery was quick - if a little pricey

Review of The Warranty Group
You'll need to persist to get a claim paid!
The RAC Warranty has been a real mixed bag for me. Very competitively priced, with no excess and a reasonable list of exclusions. Even wear and tear items can be covered if they fail prematurely. But ...
I have claimed for two failures and in both cases the underwriters have tried to use the exclusions to wriggle out of paying. These were a motor unit that powers the door handles ('door handles are not covered') and a windscreen wiper motor and linkage ('wiper arms are not covered'). Stick to your guns though, and be prepared to provide evidence, and you should get your claim paid.

Review of fawheels.co.uk
Exchange service is a game changer
I highly recommend the wheel exchange service, which avoids the need to leave the car, or its wheels, with the company for refinishing. Others offer loan wheels, but even that requires a return visit. Using the exchange service I was able to get newly-refurbished wheels on my Tesla Model S while en route between Buckinghamshire and Dorset. Just bear in mind that the exchange must be like-for-like and there may be additional charges if your wheels are badly damaged. This was explained to me in advance and I was happy to pay a little extra for one of my wheels which was deeply gouged and will need welding. I’m very pleased with the powder-coated finish on my ‘new’ wheels.
