Needed a new roof and wasn't sure who to trust with the £10k+ work that needed to be done. Stumbled on ThePage and after speaking with Thomas I felt more confident that the 2 roofers he recommended I speak to were honest, knowledgeable and had a proven track record of being reliable. Turns out they were both excellent, and the roofer I went with done an amazing job. Him and team were on-time every day, polite and installed a new roof that I'm really happy with.
Would definitely recommend trying ThePage.

Fast delivery and reasonable price, but the handheld tape dispenser was quite poor and unusable as it could not effectively cut the tape and proceed to the next box without having to constantly realign the tape.

Used to be a decent company, not any more.
Booked a car for several days, 2 weeks in advance and then 2 days before the start got a call saying they're cancelling my booking as they need to change their fleet.
No customer number to call, just an AI chatbot that is useless.
Used them previously and they were ok but like many others have said the company has gone downhill. Avoid unless you like stress.

Ordered an item, which arrived with a non-uk plug. Not mentioned when placing the order. Spoke to customer service who said its stated on the product description, which wasn't true. Sounds like they probably sourced some EU products cheaper than UK version but didn't mention it.

Used Evri a few times and works relatively ok when sending packages that are dropped off to a 'shop', but when arranging collection from my home address the courier kept texting to say couldn't make it at the shceduled time, mulitple times, over 3 days.
Made other collection/delivery arrangements. Requested a refund on 4 occasions and was ignored, contacted PayPal to sort.

Rubbish. Doesn't work and forces you subscribe in order to use.

Good prices and fast delivery but MandM will spam you with promo emails after you place your first order, without giving you a chance not to be included. They also offer you a chance to pre-pay for returns (£2.99) when placing an order, otherwise it's £3.99 once you've received the order!

Intrusive pop-ups that keep returning every few seconds. Site is unusable.

Booked a flight 3 weeks in advance, got a confirmation email straight away. Then 2 hours later I get another email saying:
"We regret to inform you that the airline is unable to confirm the booking, as they are facing some technical errors. In order to book your flight, you need to visit directly on the airline website and confirm your booking."

This is a cowboy operation and explains why they quote prices cheaper than most other websites.

TBF there were Red flags all over the place: Poor grammar and graphics on the website, errors on the booking confirmation, bad reviews on Trustpilot (always be suspicious of websites with only 5 stars and 1 stars). Avoid this business if you don't want a headache.

Website lists mortgage products that don't exist. E.g. searched for Offset mortgages and NatWest came top of the list. Called Natwest and they said they stopped doing offset mortgages over a year ago! Can't trust the info on NerdWallet.

Absolutely shockingly bad service. Called Customer Service to chase up a refund after a cancelled train a month ago, the rep said please hold and then I could hear them just breathing not talking or doing anything. Clearly couldn't be asked. I hung up the phone after waiting 23 minutes. This a cowboy train operator are not serious about their business. Avoid London Northwestern Railway like the plague.

Customer for several years. Shockingly bad service. Poorly designed website, money transfer process can take hours, customer service is not very good, and their rates are not competitive. Only used them as the recipient of the funds doesn't have a bank account and WU have a wide network of collection points but I've now had enough and will not use them anymore.

Ordered a simple birthday to be delivered to an address in France. It's been 4 days and still hasn't arrived. Quite disappointed as the websites leads you to believe delivery will be quick. Will avoid in the future.

Great website for affordable car rental insurance excess cover. Simple, quick and offering complete cover and piece of mind. Haven't had to make a claim yet so can't speak on that side of things.
