Worst online shopping experience I've ever come across
I have no complaints about the Range as a store, but they really need to sort their online customer experience out as a priority. I ordered a rather large and heavy BBQ from them before the summer starts, as it was a big bulky item and our house position quite elevated I thought I'd take advantage of The Ranges online delivery service, which was free due to the amount I was spending. The order email stated delivery can be 7-14 days, so I sat back and waited....
3 weeks & no BBQ. I call customer service who fobbed me off saying they would follow it up and I'd get an email to confirm dispatch shortly. Nothing.
4 weeks and I chase again, by email and again I'm told it was in process and a despatch email would follow shortly. Nothing.
I finally decide to cancel the order for a refund by calling their cust service line.
They fail to cancel on 2 occasions. Finally on the 3rd attempt I speak to someone who knows what they are doing and the order is finally cancelled and a refund issued.
Maybe they should stick to store retailing, because they certainly haven't impressed me with their shambolic online service. Needless to say, I won't be back... Online at least. And they lost the business to a rival.
