Work itself was fine ,but disappointed that the plumber didn't actually bring the replacement tap with him despite being assured he would do so having been sent pictures of broken tap beforehand,so we were then charged for an additional hours labour as he had to go to the shop 5 minutes away for overpriced replacement so not overly impressed

After trying for 2 days to use my card have received a reply saying that it is "Pending" and could take up to 7 days...no explanation offered,absolutely outragous!!
Even the responses to some of the complaints on here are pathetic...standard answer seems to be "We have requested more information and are still waiting for a response"...Scandalous!!!

There were so many problems with our Holiday that it would take me all day to list them all, but the service from Holkidaygems was atrocious from the moment it was booked. Prior to booking our all inclusive holiday I sought assurances that there would be food choices for my son who is Vegan and was told this would not be a problem as the hotel did "World Food", however once at our hotel we realised that this was an issue and despite paying almost £3000 for our Holiday I often had to take my son out to eat as the hotel didn't cater for him ( despite my emailing them twice before our arrival informing them of his being Vegan ).IAlso when booking I requested that my son be given an adjoining room to the the room that my girlfriend and I had and was assured that this would be fine, however upon arrival we were given a room on the 2nd floor and my son was given a room on the 4th floor ...I pointed out that I had requested adjoining rooms, but the receptionist just shrugged. As our departing flight wasn't until 11.15pm I had asked for late check out which we were given for my son's room ( 4 pm ). on the day of departure just before noon my girlfriend and I were sitting in the hotel bar when the man on reception asked when my son would be vacating his room, I pointed out that we had late check out so had the room until 4pm and was informed that he had no record of this and that " I should have confimed this"..I pointed out that I had booked and had written confirmation of this in February so why should I need to confirm it? However I was told that my son had to vacate the room as they had it booked for someone else ( we were however given another room ) so I went up to tell my son and was greeted by a very angry, agressive cleaning lady banging on his door and yelling very loudly in Greek. I managed to pacify her and helped my son ( who had just got out of the shower ) prepare to move into the other room and my son informed me that this lady had been continually banging on the door and shouting at him and at one point had actually entered the room and opened the bathroom door when he was in the shower!! These are just a few of the problems that I had with this holiday, I complained to Holidaygems but their disinterested response was as disappointing as their Holiday. Ultimately I would never,ever have booked this holiday if I hadn't been given incorrect information at the time of booking....Holidaygems are a truly awful,awful company and should be avoided at all costs!!
