Awful bereavement service

Trying to report the passing of a customer as the executor of an estate. Three makes it so difficult and frustrating to cancel an account. You're pushed down the 'live chat' route only to be hit with brick wall after brick wall.

Three months and still waiting for an invoice

Three months after an expensive repair that should never have been necessary - given the age and low mileage of my XC90 - HSF has still not provided me with an invoice.

My many requests have been ignored. I assume from this, among other things, HSF is not prepared to stand by the quality of its work. So, I have no warranty/guarantee for the work carried out.

This isn't the level of customer service or integrity I'd expect from a Volvo main dealer. But my experience is limited to that of HSF, so who knows?

XC90 not fit for purpose

My XC90 has done c21,000 miles, is 4 years old and been serviced 4 times.

It now has a "tensioner" issue (and undrivable) according to my local garage and that's a "Volvo only repair." The Volvo dealership can only repair it in two weeks from now. And because its out of warranty, the "investigation" and repair will all be at my expense. In the meantime, I have no transport.

Volvo's top of the range car won't last more than 21,000 miles? I don't think it's fit for purpose and would never recommend buying one.

I've used Sal at Leasing Options for two cars now and both times he's been able to find the car that meets my requirements at a price that's good for me. This time he even brought a car to my attention that I wasn't previously considering. Great service all round!

I had my eye on this shirt for a while…

I had my eye on this shirt for a while and finally took the plunge. I'd delayed because I thought it was a little expensive - particularly as I'd not heard of the brand before.

I've now worn it out and it doesn't disappoint. It's a little smaller than I imagined but there's plenty of give in the fabric and it doesn't feel like I'm squeezing myself into it. It's a great look.

Service was good - it came quickly.

The delivery was made over four hours…

The delivery was made over four hours later than the estimated window. Eventually it arrived at 22:30 - after I'd gone to bed.

The item - a £250 jacket - was left outside my gate and so stayed there all night (perhaps I was lucky to find it there in the morning).

The gate wasn't locked so there was no reason for not leaving it in my porch.

I know it sounds like I'm annoyed with the driver. But my actual conclusion is that Evri are over burdening their drivers if they're still out at 10:30 making deliveries. I don't suppose it's much of a life for him or her.

A pretty negative experience

The guy who came to pick the car up was nice, as was the guy that phoned me. They fitted me in quickly and I had the convenience of getting the car picked up and delivered.

However, I feel pretty ripped-off. How can they quote me for a full service, but not include the cost of the oil for the oil change? And then have the nerve to charge me over £100 for the oil? A pollen filter was also over £100 —not sure of a fair price on that.

No evidence of them doing anything of course so I can't help but feel pretty negative about the whole experience.

I'd only do this again if I was really desperate - I was in this case because Halfords had let me down the day before my MOT was due.

Misrepresentation

I bought a utility iron which is has an adjustable loft. The loft on these types of club us adjusted by using a tool applied with the club. However, in this case, no tool was supplied.
CHG say the manufacturer no longer supplies the tool. That's as maybe, but why then does CHG still supply this club at full price and as a utility iron?

What I wanted, when I wanted it, at my price!

I'd previously leased through a main dealer and as that came to an end, I thought I'd shop around the many leasing brokers coming up on a Google search. I contacted 4 or 5, including Leasing Options.

Sal at Leasing Options got straight back to me where all his competitors were sluggish and appeared disinterested. I told Sal what I wanted and he was straight on it. Before long he'd found a car matching the exact make, model, colour and extras I wanted. If that wasn't enough he found a car that could be delivered to dovetail with the end of my then current lease.

In some respects, the above is exactly what you'd expect from a leasing broker. But Sal's competitors came up woefully short of my expectations. Sal even managed to work with the dealer on the price to bring it into my affordability range.

Definitely a five star service!

Absolutely disgusted by my email from Sonos today -
Your expensive speaker will no longer receive updates...
Your whole system will lose functionality and quality if you continue to use the speaker you paid us lots of money for...
We'll give you a discount but it will still cost you more than £500 to replace the speaker you paid us lots of money for previously.

What causes a company to be this out of touch with it's customers?

I hope they go out of business!

Hidden extras - better going direct to the airline!

I've just called for help on tickets for my upcoming family holiday (1.5 weeks to go), only to be told Expedia hasn't included luggage in my price.

I'm disgusted - how does Expedia expect a family to go on a holiday like this for a week with no luggage. This was not made clear at the time of booking and is a cynical attempt to extort even more money out of families already being ripped-off by 'seasonal' adjustments.

My package was supposed to include all we needed - plane/car/hotel and now we find that it doesn't include luggage. Truly awful and dishonest service.

What a useless company

What a useless company. Three days failed delivery and they haven't left a card once. They have no back up plan to rectify their poor service, such as a time slot. Next they'll be asking me to collect from them. A bit rich when I've paid them to deliver it to me.
