Review of HP Store
UPDATE: Well, I finally got this issue resolved! Apparently, one of the problems was that HP wasn't getting my emails. I just don't know/understand why that was happening. Eventually, a really nice HP guy took ownership of the issue and sorted it out.
Please be WARNED: 'HP's Price Guarantee' found on their website...
I bought a new OMNIBOOK 5 from 'HP Store UK', and two days after receiving it, the price dropped by £100! I have spent over a week trying to get HP to honour their commitment to the 'Price Guarantee'. I have had multiple phone calls to Sales and Support lines, plus emails to all of the following contact points: ukstore.postsales", "hpstoresalesuk", "hpstore-uk"
I supplied FULL invoice details and a datestamp screenshot of the website price drop to all the email contacts. I have had NO reply whatsoever from HP, even though I have email delivery receipts for all the emails sent.
The contact phone numbers given to me by HP Support Lines are just not helpful in any way, with the HP Agent/Advisor saying they cannot help. Resulting in me just being given the "telephone runaround", we've all experienced this, I am sure.
I am disgusted with HP over this and truly feel scammed by them in every sense of the word.
I have deleted my previous 5-star HP review published 3 or 4 years ago from Trustpilot, as HP is now not the same company.

Review of Keyonline.eu
I wanted to purchase a renewal 'Product Key' for my PC's Internet Security Program, which had expired. The renewal price from the antivirus company was extortionate! Although this is commonly what happens after a 'first purchase' offered at a discount price.
So I tried 'Keyonline' for the first time, and I must admit to some apprehension. I did check them on Trustpilot, and the reviews seemed fine. I ordered a new Key for my AV Software and saved a significant amount of money. The product key was delivered by email, and an official receipt/invoice followed shortly after. The 'Product Key' works great with no problems! I shall certainly use Keyonline in the future.

Review of Philips
I have a Philips Steam Generator Iron, Model GC7840/26. It stopped working after being stored for some months and not being used. I had it repaired (Warranty had expired) under Philips 'Fixed Price Repair' of £69.00. You can visit their website if you search "Philips Steam Iron Repair"
My experience was very good indeed, and I feel a reasonable 'Fix Price Repair' was a very good option, which included Postage for Pickup and Return.

I paid for 'tracked delivery' as the delivery window was tight. All went well

Review of SelectSpecs.com
To be fair, I would give 3 and a half stars, but I can't select that. Anyway, here is why...
I am a first-time customer of Selectspecs, and things didn't get off to a good start. I Ordered a 'Reglaze' of a pair of 'Rimless' Varifocal Glasses, the frame was in good to excellent condition. Approximately 24 hours after I received notification that my Glasses had been received, I was informed that my Rimless Frame had sustained damage during the reglazing process (Selectspecs have a convenient liability disclaimer regarding reglazing). I was somewhat annoyed about this, to say the least. I do appreciate that a rimless frame is perhaps more prone to damage during the reglazing process, but the frame was in good condition. Bearing this in mind, I would strongly advise customers who have rimless frame glasses, NOT to bother or risk sending these in for a reglazing, as I would suggest the success rate to be no more than average at best.
Can I just point something out about the Selectspecs TV ads saying you can buy a pair of glasses for under £10? That does NOT apply to good quality varifocal glasses (single vision lenses are much more straightforward) the measurement parameters required for a good outcome are more precise for varifocal lenses and hence far more expensive.
Also, CHECK your chosen new Frame's measurements against an existing pair you have, the Frames Selectspecs sell shows you the measurement details of every pair they sell, as this will affect how well your Varifocal will perform, just be mindful of that. I would also add, choose the BEST lenses available for Varifocal Glasses, this gives a much better user experience rather than going for 'cheapest optics', talk to one of Selectspecs advisers before you order, as I did, to ensure you have chosen the best frame for your varifocal prescription. I found the interpupillary distance (IPD is quite important to get right!) app 'Glasseon' seems to be very good, I also bought an IPD measurement ruler from Amazon and it agreed with the app, just a lucky coincidence perhaps.
Anyway, I had to order a completely new pair of glasses, Selectspecs did apply a discount to my order which demonstrated "fair dealing" with them, because of my poor experience with the reglazing order. I chose a Gant GA3296 frame and Elite Lenses. The Frame had to be ordered as it was not in stock. I would advise customers to choose a Frame, if possible, which is actually 'in stock' (quite a few are not) otherwise you may well experience a protracted waiting period as I did.
The glasses did arrive after I chased the order up, but the 'lead time' could have been much better. However, I must say when I did finally receive my glasses the Gant Frame, Lenses and High-Quality Case were a pleasure to behold, beautiful! The frame had been fully aligned (four-point table test etc) place your glasses on a completely flat surface and check for this, then invert and test again. Now I have always had high-quality lenses when ordering glasses from a high street optician, and I can say Selectspecs 'Elite' Range is 'up there' with the best available, in my opinion of course for what it's worth.
Would I use Selectspecs again? Yes, I would just give the company a second go, they do keep the customer fully informed by email from the receipt of your order and during its progress, '5 stars' for that. Using Selectspecs can save you money, rather than using a certain very well-known high-street name that seems to insist on you buy "two for one", which in my case meant well over £400 every time. But remember any small adjustments you may need to make to fit your glasses to our imperfect facial geometry must be done by you. It's not rocket science guidance videos are on the website to help.
I will update my review if required.
Review of Go.Compare
I wasn't impressed this year regarding Gocompare's quote list or its impact in reducing prices and focusing insurers on being competitive I did better negotiating directly with my usual insurer. Your £250 "free excess cover" might not do much at all in persuading customers to purchase through your website. I for one know, and I am sure many other customers feel the same, that after a harrowing process navigating a car insurance claim, having to then go through the process of attempting to recover your free excess from Gocompare, is just going to be another protracted "chase and follow-up" trying to get Gocompare to "cough up" the money (T & C's apply). Don't take your website users as plain 'Mugs', please.
Just a short comment on 'Gocompare's' reply...
To say: "As a comparison service we have no bearing on the price of your policy" is just a tad ridiculous. That's precisely the aim of your website to act as an influencer, in so far as the Insurance Companies that do participate (you won't see Direct Line on the quote list) know full well, that they all are competing face-to-face for business. It may well be that Insurance companies are now getting wise to these comparison sites and collectively acting to resist the 'rat race' for business. The "fat man" might have to sing a bit louder in the future.

Review of Logitech
DO NOT PURCHASE ANY PRODUCTS DIRECT FROM THE LOGITECH WEBSITE!!
Scroll To The End For Conclusion...
I am just posting this provisional
warning about Logitech which, until now, has been a brand you can trust, not anymore!
I ordered a K650 Keyboard+M650 Mouse from Logitech's website.
Straight 'out of the box', the Keyboard was faulty, several keys would stick down and not pop up. I contacted Support (Ticket number: 12030832) to initiate a refund and was told 'Sales' would contact me by email to supply the return details and postage label. After two follow-up calls by me, no one from Sales has contacted me. I will update this post when/if this dreadful customer service/support dept. responds.
UPDATE: It took a month to finally receive a refund for an "out-of-box" faulty Keyboard. The whole experience was a disgraceful display of 'Customer Care' by the Swiss Company Logitech.

Not a lot to say, helpful advisers and efficient quick delivery. They do what they do very well.
Review of Allseasonsgs
I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with my recent experience with Allseasonsgs.co.uk. As a former customer, I feel compelled to share my concerns and shed light on the issues I encountered during my interactions with the company.
To provide some context, I had previously utilized the services of Allseasonsgs.co.uk for gardening purposes. While the individual tradespeople were competent, I found the overall management of the company to be severely lacking. Allow me to elaborate on my grievances.
One day, I received a cold call from Allseasonsgs.co.uk, inquiring if I had any work that needed to be done. Despite my reservations, I decided to give the company a second chance. I provided them with two relatively simple tasks: replacing a cracked bathroom tile and reseating a garden paving slab. These were tasks that a competent handyman should be able to handle without difficulty.
Unfortunately, what ensued was a series of disappointments and frustrations. Several weeks passed without any progress. Despite making three phone calls to inquire about an estimate, no one from the company bothered to show up. Finally, during my last call, I was informed that the visit to provide an estimate had been inexplicably cancelled by the office. To make matters worse, no one bothered to inform me of this change, leaving me completely in the dark. I was taken aback by the lack of communication and professionalism displayed by Allseasonsgs.co.uk.
Adding insult to injury, when I expressed my dissatisfaction during the phone call, the office staff responded with an astonishing lack of regard for customer service. Their exact words were along the lines of, "We are too busy for customers right now. It will be over a month before we can send someone to estimate your work." This dismissive attitude and disregard for customer satisfaction left me feeling disrespected and undervalued as a client.
In light of these experiences, I would strongly caution others against being misled by the claims and statements on the Allseasonsgs.co.uk website. Their self-proclaimed commitment to exceeding customer expectations is nothing more than empty rhetoric. My personal encounter with the company clearly demonstrates that they do not live up to their own promises.
In conclusion, I regretfully state that I will never engage the services of Allseasonsgs.co.uk again. Their unreliability, lack of communication, and dismissive attitude towards customers have left a lasting negative impression. I hope that by sharing my experience, others can make an informed decision when considering this company for their needs.
Review of AlcoSense Breathalyzers
I do not classify myself as a heavy drinker and did not buy this product to save myself, or my driving licence should I say, from the "clutches of the demon drink". Although I enjoy two or three beers with food (440ml cans of 4.6abv) 'here and there' at a friend's house, there is around a 6-hour gap (no alcohol) before I go home. Having great respect for Alcohol and its effects on your driving, I wanted to be sure my body was clear of Alcohol before any attempt at driving home.
The AlcoSense gives me that peace of mind. It is a well-made instrument for testing your BAC level and is the "best in class" of the Semiconductor type sensor units (although more expensive, even greater accuracy can be obtained with the fuel cell type if you feel that is necessary). The instrument is very easy to use and results are fairly consistent, although it is important you read the supplied instructions which give limitations guidance on the product's use. An excellent device at a competitive price! The 'carry case' is an optional purchase which I strongly recommend.
Review of ieGeek
I've purchased 4 IeGeek Cameras for my home, they're easy to install and set up using their free Phone 'App'. So impressed with what the cameras can do I suggested a friend buy a couple.
Review of Accurist
I purchased an Accurist Mens "Classic" model 73001 which included an additional Strap plus Engraving free of charge (current offer). Also, the Watch offered an extended guarantee if you register it, provided the model you buy is covered by this offer (many are). The delivery was unbelievably quick considering the Case-Back was Engraved with the words of my choice. The item was delivered in a special reinforced outer cardboard container, which when opened had the Accurist logo inside. Once opened you are presented with an inner Green Display Box and Document Wallet, at this point you know this is a top-class product experience which equals, if not surpasses, that of the Rolex brand. The experience continues... as you remove the lid on the inner green Box you see the Beautiful Proprietary Travel Case.... Okay, I've said too much already. Just take a look at their website, Accurist.com! I am NOT a fan of large 40mm+ Case sizes with the thickness of a doorstop. Accurist's "Classic Collection" is about Watch design when it was more "dressy", the model I bought with a leather strap, is the most comfortable I have ever worn, with a 37mm Case Size it's just about perfect.
I pride myself in the fairness and truthfulness of my reviews, and I say in all honesty that from start to finish, my purchase experience has been Excellent in every respect.
Review of Assured Heating Essex
I had a quote from British Gas (BG) for Boiler Replacement as I had central heating insurance with them, and also a second quote by 'Assured Heating Essex' as they were recommended to me by a friend. The quotation assessment was done by Lee Nichols Director & Founder (yes a boss that's actually customer-facing). Lee is a very professional and customer friendly guy. To cut to the chase on this, his company is in an entirely different orbit compared to BG, and I can wholeheartedly recommend Assured Heating Essex as a local top-rate 5-star company. They offer most if not all the same service cover and install options as BG, but really do put the customer front and centre of their satisfaction/quality ethos. Check them out
Review of The Grooming Clinic
My very first experience with TGC. I purchase the 150ml size of REJUVENATING FACE WASH & SCRUB by 'THE REAL SHAVING COMPANY' as I found it difficult to find that size elsewhere. 'The Grooming Clinic' delivered it in a lovely small box with a wonderful smell when opened. The product was very well packed with a 'thank you' letter and some vouchers. It was one of the BEST delivery experiences I've had in a long time. I certainly will not hesitate to buy other products from this online company again! So, 10/10 and 5 stars!!!

Review of Dunelm
Firstly, please ignore any reply to this post by Dunelm. They are, or should be, fully aware of my complaint as I have written to their 'Registered Offices' as listed on their website, AND emailed Customer Services (if you can call it that).
BOTTOM LINE....
If you use this Basildon Essex Store, and things go wrong for you, expect the worst from its disinterested Management Staff.
Poor Service Issue...
In November 2022 my wife and I visited Dunelm's Basildon Essex Store to Order two sets of Curtains. The process was overly protracted, with us having to provide general measurements BEFORE a professional Curtain Fitter could be arranged to visit our house to carry out a preinstallation assessment. This in our view should have been arranged right from the very beginning, as the customer’s measurements can never be relied on.
After this visit was completed, we returned to the store to choose a Curtain Fabric/Design etc. When nearing the end of the ordering process, we also ask for a 'Thermal Lining' as an extra requirement, which I suppose many people do under the current energy crisis. At this point, the whole order had to be cancelled due to your out-of-stock status of the 'Thermal Linings'. My wife and I felt our time and effort had been utterly wasted because of the soft furnishings advisor's lack of awareness of the stock status of an important item that was possibly ’key’ to any order for Curtains a customer might make. The Soft Furnishings advisor ADMITTED that other clients had previously "walked away" due to the very same stock issue, so why in heaven's name did she not mention this early in the ordering process, to save wasting everyone's time and patience?
However, notwithstanding our poor experience in November 2022, we decided to give Dunelm Basildon a second chance and visited the store on Tuesday 24th January 2023. After being left waiting in 'Soft Furnishing's' while an employee tried to hunt around for someone to help with a Curtain Order, finally, the Duty Manager called "Sophie" come over to assist us. I have to say that as a ‘Manager’ her general approach and interpersonal skills were some of the worst I have encountered in a 'Home Furnishings Retailer'. I will give bullet points below to keep this as brief as possible.
(1)The Manager Showed a lack of interest in our previous problems with the 'Ordering Process' resulted in us having to cancel our order with the whole endeavour being a complete waste of time.
(2)At no point did she offer an apology for the poor experience we had during the previous visit.
(3)Failed to grasp that losing customers due to a lack of stock was a threat to Dunelm's business model and job security
(4)Did not recognise the courtesy we extended to Dunelm, by giving the Store a second chance to redeem itself, notwithstanding our poor experience back in November 2022.
(5)Although "Sophie" did forward by email a revised quote to my wife, she failed to respond and/or ignore a query my wife made on the estimate.

Review of OPPO
This review has been posted from the Trustpilot page for 'Oppostore.co.uk', to WARN potential customers about the 'Oppo Authorised Reseller' "Five Tech Limited" which trades at the website> oppostore.co.uk. Not to be confusion with the Oppo.com. webpage.
I contacted Five Tech by email to give feedback regarding my purchase experience with this "Authorised Reseller", I have included my email, but I am unable to attach the photos of the terrible state of the items that were delivered by Five Tech's Courier of choice, and the inadequate 'plastic courier bag' which contained an 'Oppo Pad-Air Tablet' and proprietary premium case.
I sent the email twice due to no response from Five Tech to the first, 'email tracking' confirmed it was opened on BOTH occasions. If Oppo wishes to promote a strong UK market, this Reseller is destroying any hope of achieving this.
I strongly advise anyone NOT to use Five Tech to purchase Oppo products. Unfortunately the Oppo.com website automatically redirects the customer to Five Tech (oppostore.co.uk) when 'SHOP' in clicked on! My email is below....
To Customer Services Team
I am a new customer of OPPO products. I bought the Oppo Phone first, the X3 Find Neo, and now direct from the OPPO Online Store, the PAD-AIR (Invoice Attached). Okay, the praise first. Thank you for the speedy despatch process, it was very prompt. Now the bad stuff, remember I am a NEW customer of your products, my experience and what I tell my friends, together with any review on Trustpilot COUNTS! Please look at the x3 photos below.
The DPD Courier and/or your despatch department needs a shake-up. What on earth do you expect your premium items in the quite attractive sealed cartons to look like after the customer receives them, when you just shoved them in a superficial Plastic Delivery Bag? Well look at my photos and you will see. Ruptured Delivery Bag with the Contents Hanging Out! Is this what you are quite "okay with" as a good customer experience? Take a leaf out of Amazon's book regarding product despatch and 'Over-Boxed' your products.
Thank heavens the PAD AIR was still functional and continues that way I hope, my whole experience of receiving a new purchase left me feeling let down and disappointed. I sincerely hope you take my comments seriously, you would do well to learn from this.
