I use True HQ HDMI 2.1 Certified cables on all my gear. They work flawlessly at 4k 120hz, Dolby Vision and all uncompressed audio formats. Value is also very good, True HQ are my go to HDMI cable.

For a small indie business, the website is very professional. The prices are fair and delivery is fast. In-Store is as good as online and I love to visit the store when I visit Seaton.

I have been using RetroSix for the last few years to help keep my childhood consoles alive. So far I have sent in my Childhood Sega Game Gear for upgrades and Modifications and My Gameboy Advance for the same.

Both Consoles are now perfect to the point that I almost can't believe that they are the same machines, the quality of workmanship and the new parts are top notch :) I would never in wildest dreams when I was a kid have emagined that both systems could have such incredible screens, such awesome clear black shells and crystal clear audio.

The highlights for me so far with RetroSix are the TFT CleanScreen's for the Game Gear and GBA, The CleanAmp Audio boards/1w speakers for both machines, the clear black ABS Shells and the Glass screen lenses. The most quality of life enhancing mod for me by far however has to be the ingenious Clean Juice USB lithium battery mod for the Sega Game Gear, the fact that I no longer have to lose my position in a Game when the AA batteries run out and can now simply play and charge via USB C is an absolute game changer, plus the two lithium batteries last for ages and quality of power board is fantastic, plus installation is simple to boot :)

Don't listen to the complainers who unfairly post poor reviews before allowing RetroSix to sort out Thier "issues" This small British company really is making an invaluable contribution to preserving and improving our treasured retro and current gaming systems :)

HMV's online store is great and I find it easy to find what I'm looking for, the postage is fast and free as long as I spend £20 or more, which is not hard for me :)

There is the option for collection at a nearby store too, which is very convenient for some. There is always a good choice of deals available, I especially like the deals on 4k Blu-ray as I'm trying to build up my collection. The prices are very competitive with the likes of Amazon and Zavvi, overall HMV is always my first choice when shopping online or in store for physical media.

Brilliant online store that sells brand new components for old consoles. I just bought a new sound card for my Sega Gamegear with tantalum capacitors and the build quality, performance and price is fantastic, it's even better than the original Sega part.

I moved to hastings direct for their value and customer satifaction ratings. They have not dissapointed, plus the free smartphone app is a great help with the ability to manage my account and start a free webchat whenever I need any help.

Cex is my go to place for any used and retro tech, yes there is ebay however cex offers a 2 year warranty whilst still offering very fair prices, it's great that there is somewhere to buy gear like retro games consoles and not have to worry if it'll actually work or not like with many ebay sellers, and if you do get anything faulty from Cex they will rectify the issue.
