Apart from some initial difficulties in getting through, once set up the claim proceeded fairly easily, telephone contacts were helpful and sorted everything out.

You need to supply what you offer, advertising oven bulbs ( I.e. heat resistant for use in high temp situations ) at £4.13 and then supplying standard lighting bulbs worth 60p, which will not survive long at high temp, is not acceptable. Many people would likely not have realised, you just got unlucky that I did. You either need better trained warehouse staff or a more honest policy, not at all sure which in this case ☹️☹️

Another victim here, usual story as per others, looks like a total ripoff, no response to any attempt at contact, will now report them as a fraudulent organisation and hopefully some action will be taken against this shower.

Update: Within an hour of posting this review, an email arrived from Lee Stephenson with apologies and a full refund confirmed in a separate email by Worldpay. I have therefore upgraded the rating from one to two stars to reflect this but the overall experience remains unsatisfactory.

Easy to arrange and very reasonable cost, thankfully did not need to claim so cannot comment on that aspect.

Having used lots of hire care agents over the years as well as hiring directly, I first came across Gordon & Martin about 8 years ago and have never looked back, since that time I have hired via their site regularly. Nothing is too much trouble for them, any special requirements can be easily sorted, you know where you are and, if you do have any problems during the hire, they are ready and able to help get it sorted. I would recommend them to anyone and have done so several times.

A bit pedantic in some aspects of document requirements but overall a reasonable experience.
