Putting things right
Star was deducted for the initial “Click and Collect” experience. They (David Aherne, Kinsale Road) were excellent thereafter.
I ordered some products for “Click & Collect”. I heard nothing back after a week or so, and contacted HN through their online customer portal. There was no response to that query either and I had already paid for the products. I wrote another email to HN setting out my proposed course of action.
Enter David Aherne. He sorted everything out and went above and beyond my expectations. I understand things can go wrong, but it is how a company responds to these issues sets them apart from their competitors.
Harvey Norman should value employees like David. He is the difference between “never again” and repeat customers.
